The VA Leavenworth is an awesome place! They take great care of the veterans there! Les, Michelle, Liz, the blood draw lab, the pharmacy, and Team 6! Not to mention many others!

Been comming for 15 years always the best love the nurses doctors we as veterans are so lucky to have this wonderful place.

This is my second VA I've ever been to. Before here, I was at Tampa's VA. THEY ARE HUGELY BUSY OVER THERE!!!! I've been here for just over 10 years and never had a problem here.

Great facility. Majority of the staff goes above and beyond. Also really works out any kinks and hurdles. Making picking up once a week a breeze. Currently have been decreasing my doses on a weekly basis. After having been going here for a year and previously at 150mg. Im Currently at 60mg. As I said MAJORITY of the staff is great. HlHOWEVER, the one younger lady, brunette. Only works a day or two a month. Has out right REFUSED to dispense my meds simply because there wasnt a 'specific order' put in place. EVEN THOUGH she saw a 'note' in my file from doc about allowing me to decrease dose per request. For whatever reason she wouldnt allow it and I had to come in extra early on a monday BEFORE WORK AT 5AM. the worst part was she tried to deny it. Which is easily disproven by checking the dates of my pick ups. I simple have not pick up on q monday. Aside from the 2 days where I did not come in the Saturday prior. Audi that, 10-24-26 after going here all year. Decreasing my dose for the past 2 plus months. There was a new worker, said she wasnt actually 'new' but had just been there to help out. Probably a transfer. Didnt get her name. Much larger lady. She stated because I was missing an empty bottle that she wasnt supposed to dispense my meds. Adjust that if I didn't bring back the empty bottle next week that I wouldnt ve able to get them. Ive had this same thing happen atleast twice before. The nurses I've clearly formed relationships with have always said something like "oh its not an issues, bring it next time if you find it, its okay Billy we're not really worried about you". As they KNOW im not corcomventing my prescription as im regularly asking for LESS of it. Really hope the same lady isn't there. Because if I have to come in on a Monday next week. It'll be right before 8am. As I work 12 hr overnights. So if I get refused my meds Saturday. Be prepared to possibly stay a little late monday

I've been to different new seasons locations. This is by far the best one ive been to. They actually care to advance you through the steps of their program. The other lication would have you stuck in phase 1 for a lifetime.

Stephanie and the crew are awesome, they actually CARE! I have been to a couple clinics in Kansas city and your not truly valued like you are here at NEW SEASONS. Dixie and Angie are the nurses who show us so much love and empathy!!! I definitely recommend this clinic!! They saved my life.

Always a good experience. Very little wait time and very pleasant nurses, etc.

Communication is not good. Can't get ahold of anyone by phone.

The Staff has always been most excellent!

I used to visit this Topeka VA center frequently and some times had to go to Leavenworth and KC. I relocated to the Tulsa, OK area. I was never displeased with the VAMC in Topeka, usually content and satisfied. I did not know how good I had it! I miss the Topeka VA very much. The Oklahoma system state wide is bad and Tulsa in particular. It is leagues behind in all categories. Topeka is a very good facility with good friendly staff and nicer and more thoughtful amenities to boot. I have experienced the contrast.

I have been so fortunate to be part of the VA system and hands down the Topeka Kansas VA is the absolute best one

Takes awhile to get prescriptions filled best to go early and beat the rush of people trying to pick them up at 4 o'clock

Good parking, very well laid out facility, drive thru pharmacy. One stop shop for all medical needs. Vision, dental, behavioral, primary care. Wonderful and approachable staff. Also good place for outreach resources.

Really lucky to have people who can help.

Imani means faith, and I'll never forget the things I've learned that I still go by to this day. Doesn't matter if your forced or went into this place on your own. Walking into rehab was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. I expected cold halls, awkward silence, and feeling completely alone. Instead, I found people who slowly helped stitch pieces of me back together, sometimes gently, sometimes with tough love, and sometimes while laughing so hard I forgot where I even was for a minute. This place was equal parts therapy, life lessons, emotional damage repair shop, and accidental comedy show. The staff somehow mastered the art of being strict enough to keep us alive while still making us feel deeply cared for. That takes a special kind of magic. To the staff: thank you for seeing people instead of problems. Thank you for the hard conversations, the warm smiles, the accountability, the comfort, and the moments that made us feel human again. To the women there with me: you were some of the strongest people I’ve ever met. Recovery is not pretty every day, but neither is becoming a butterfly, and somehow we were all learning how to grow wings in there. Sobriety isn’t the end of life, it’s the beginning of finally getting to live it. Thank you for helping me find pieces of myself again. I walked in terrified, and I walked out hopeful. That is something I will never forget ✨

First Step at Lakeview is an amazing place to go. The staff is absolutely amazing, you have Ashley Brett and Jan who go above and beyond what they need to to make us feel comfortable and at home. My experience was personable because of them and I really can't thank them enough.
