I really love it here and don't know why it has any negative reviews. I mean like other people say, detox kind of sucks in general. It isn't supposed to be a relaxing spa retreat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are the best. I have been a few times unfortunately, but haven't had a bad experience. I always feel safe. Its a comfortable and relaxing vibe all around. The morning groups can be a little preachy and pushy on views for my liking, but the afternoon groups are good. I find it really helpful to be around, and hear from, others going through the same thing as you. The food is amazing!! You will definitely not go hungry. There is also a lot of freedom for a detox. You can always spend time outside which is really nice. I always leave feeling beter and having a positive outlook. Special shout out Yoyo and counselor Matt! 🙂

Well, one all the information that was given me there was incorrect the person the caseworker in question I don’t remember his name. He said some things about me and his final notes that are 100% inaccurate like the reason why I wasn’t taking a shower was because I was paired with the person that was always in the shower. It was an African-American man and he was stealing my products 100% of And then they said I wasn’t eating which was untrue that was in his final notes when I got dismissed from this hospital and the medication I put on lithium and another medication that cost me more anxiety and such side And then I didn’t have enough time to gather clothing, and I never had any to And any particular time besides the ones I came in with, and I don’t wish to walk around in pajama bottoms provided by the The hospital I’d like to know why they gather such misinformation and they use it against you in time of Being discharged in a psychiatrist himself finds reasons the challenge you if you decide to sign a 72 hour Release I found it a bit odd that every bit about that place was undesirable because my friend couldn’t even get to me and any particular moment because of a car accident that he had did I get received the proper things including information. They’ve had missing like Like the proper medication I was receiving for my diabetes they cannot get any p Proper moment and the things I saw there were people stripping down, naked, walking around with a blanket on them, banging doors and arguing with the staff Nothing was personal about that place whatsoever only a few handful of people that I like there and guess what they all Problems of their own The facts that I received from that Hospital or 100% inaccurate I have a bladder control problem because of a prostate problem and he suggest me take something that makes me go to the bathroom even more the doctor in question that is that psychiatrist Show 100% in accuracy on the psychiatrist himself was improving effective and Every way

Just wanted to take a min or 2 outta my Sunday afternoon to let ppl know wat a life saving program hptc Plymouth is,in Aug 21,I had just entered prgm for 7 th time in last 2.5 months, every time I left AMA,they wud allow me back wen I called looking for a bed, never judging me and allowing me my process,I was sick as a dawg and totally defeated, there was a beautiful pregnant nurse there that touched my heart, even tho I was physically unable to go stand up in med line, cuz I physically cud not get out of my bed, time after time she wud come to my room to dose me,it was my 4 th day there and w/d’s were peaking,I hadn’t ate in 4 days and that nurse and the staff ,thru their compassion gave me a slight glimmer of hope, after a positive covid test I was quarantined to a room for 10 days and at that point I knew if I left again I wuda been screwed so I stayed til the miracle happened, not only did I make it thru w/ds ,I got thru the covid virus and made it the 10 days, not long after clinician got me placed into halfway house in east bos and I haven’t looked back since that day,for sum reason I will always remember that pregant nurse caring enuff with her compassion and understanding and at that point I set forth a path of recovery and once again becoming a productive member of society, and most importantly a father to my loving son ty hptc and all of there workers who assist in making miracle everyday

Although I woke up in a hospital verses a shelter it was the first time I’ve ever heard employees and the clinical team and providers actually listen to my situation and I believe that it allowed them to understand why I felt stressed and stuck with no options to try to move forward! There were too many staff that were great with support and different ideas that I couldn’t just pick one, though it was my first time in hospital and first experience but after the first couple of days that were rough on call provider actually told me (I think your crazy) which I got emotional about and the fact he took me off all my meds which are only 3 scheduled and I’ve been on for years including my antidepressant , didn’t taper me off just none and treated me for alcohol withdrawal even though I told him my parents passed away from alcohol so I don’t drink at all he put I was an alcoholic and no family history! While I was crying I requested to speak with him and I said in a matter of 20 minutes your diagnosis is I’m crazy and I need to sleep for a couple of days? I’m so upset and offended! The on call doctor well lpn said oh well this is the first and last time you will see me but left me scheduled for sleep meds for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a med for DVT? Once tuesocame around I met my provider and clinician and they both apologized for his statements and talked with my dr. Outside and I was back on my medication. I also mentioned to the on call over the holiday weekend the I had a uti and an antibiotic from Milford hospital which I was told by him that there was nothing there so I did start it on Tuesday, thank god for regular staff and support! Please google BBB for my other review of my overall support and experience with staff and clinical team❤️ I apologize for the negative comments regarding your facility, clearly people believed that we had a 5 star menu and they were staying in a hotel! The food was great for hospital food and i know that I’m speaking for the group I was there with during my stay that we all requested seconds/ extra slip so the kitchen staff did a great job with the food being hot and to cook for all the people that stayed at the hospital which I’m sure is well over 100 individuals and that’s breakfast, lunch and dinner, take a bow💯❤️🙏🫶 shout out to all the staff that genuinely care for others and not just a pay check, pat yourselves on the back you all deserve it and will forever remain in my heart for being there 🫶

I've been. Not willingly, but I'm very thankful I was there. I'm not a drug user but I was depressed and a loved one called when I had a breakdown and thought I felt suicidal. Im writing this review for the families like mine that read all of these. I was petrified going in, this was my first experience with anything like Highpoint or a treatment facility and I had no choice, I was section 12 (which I had no clue even meamt). I learned so much from the staff and even fellow patients. I attended meetings where people spoke so honestly and let me do the same. I met people from all walks of life and connected in a way with each. Don't hesitate to get your loved ones help, it's not easy being honest with your family all the time, but I feel so much more like my old self than ever. I plan on applying to work there, payback what I was given & hopefully help others feel safe and have hope like I do. You know when reading these who has unfortunately not gotten well & don't be discouraged, if I can do it you can too. Good luck

They nearly killed me.
Stop deleting my review.
I am a type 1 diabetic. This is not the "normal" kind of diabetes, it is an autoimmune disorder that is fatal with no cure. You will get progressively sick without taking insulin 24/7 NO exceptions, and experience immense bodily suffering the entire time. It is not a cute and quick death. If I am unlucky enough, I'd survive insulin starvation with life ruining uncurable side affects from the damage.
I do not know how I got here, but my mind wandered and I'm bawling my eyes out at 2am thinking about how easy it was for them to do what they did. Without insulin, your body hurts just about wherever there's blood, and they refused to properly dose me and gave me no say nor control, or direct contact with my diabetes doctor.
I barely survived being in an inpatient facility for one whole month without permanent disablement/death and am extremely grateful, although obviously still probably have ptsd about it which I've realized recently and am grappling with.
Did it mention I am sound of mind and went in for trying to kill myself? Because I was situationally suffering so much with no hope of escape and I needed it all to stop? And then was met with facing even more powerlessness, pain, and fear that I could not escape?
They also stole my mental health journal away from me, and it had all the contact information of my loved ones, so I was unable to tell anyone I was being abused and quality of my life being under threat. If anything happened to me they wouldve never known the truth.
What would've happened if i was trapped there for months? I could've lost my eyesight, my fertility, my fingers and toes, my kidneys, any semblance of a future. Look up what happens to type 1s. I was almost disabled for life there or killed quietly and I still have nightmares years later.

Northeast Addiction Treatment Center is committed to providing the best continuum of care for men and wome | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was angry leaving my initial one star review because I felt lied to and deceived. I was told I’d be lucky to make it back to this place… meaning that I’d be dead and not be able to make it back. I was told I would be dead cause of how “horrible and defiant” I was. I did not like AA was not for me so I was going to die. Many people that worked here told me. My case worker gossiped about me to a whole group of my peers saying “one of you is going down a dark road” really? These are the people to trust? These are the people “getting me better.” Also they said the bill would not need to be paid and I kept getting harassed by AP office I believe in Florida? So I was furious.
So my initial review was one star and I left out words because I wrote a nasty review and had to erase them.
I wanted to come back and edit my one star review to a five star. Cause here I am, over 5 years later, still going strong as ever in my recovery, and I have a place that is mine, I have a good steady job, and I’m free of the chains of addiction. Whether I like it or not, my experience here is what lead me to where I am today. There was some amazing staff that was overworked and under paid so if by some grace of god they are still there, god bless. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying reverse psychology on me, the staff talking crap about me to other peers, the staff saying I’d be dead. But they were not that smart, they genuinely were telling me I was hopeless. I won’t name you but I know that you know who you are.
Now I sit here over 5 years later thinking that maybe if you did not spend so much time talking down and being hateful and judgmental to me, maybe all my brothers in program with me that are dead now, would still be alive if you paid them that energy. But it is what it is right? I don’t equate my success to NEATC, hell no. I put my success on my shoulders. I easily could have taken yall saying I’d be dead soon and actually gone and died. But I didn’t. I spit in all your faces and I proved all of you wrong. I did it for me. I did it for my brothers who died due to the lack of care they received wether insurance was poor or you just focused more on me being defiant than their complacent obedience to your AA. What works for some does not work for all. It’s your hate that drove the fight in me to succeed. I see my brothers in the program with me that never will get to share their smiles with the world, I can share the smile they taught me. I can share their message and I will not let them down.
That’s why I have 5 stars. This place did exactly what it needed to. Just like life, drove me insane, judged me, hate on me, gave me a place to live full of rats and mice, financial issues to battle, had to face death, had to hear pain like no other, and was not the smoothest ride. But through the pain and darkness of life there is always light, you can be that light. You can change. Amidst all the bad, there was a handful of AMAZING staff and people that gave me a real life experience I will never ever ever forget. Just like life this place is not perfect, we need to take the challenges and push on. I loved this place. And always will. This place did heal me. Not how I wanted but how I needed. Just like real life. I noticed my growth as I wanted to change my one star review. Even after all the trouble, I pushed through and fought and still see the light. I am still a light that will not be dimmed. And this place is a HUGE part of the reason I am who I am today. An amazing light in a dark dark world. This place put a challenge in front of me, life is not easy, you need to put in the work, and when life punches, you need to punch back harder.
Thank you NEATC and the amazing staff I can’t imagine would still be working here but if you are I love you. Forever I love you, and miss you, and wish you the best. I would love to come speak one day at an event, I don’t live close by anymore but I’d love to make something so please contact. Anyone wondering if they should come here, yes. Yes you should.

Our daughter ended up enrolling at a BH care program after a 211 call. She was supposed to receive Outpatient therapy. Her first day she was evaluated and was ordered to go to the hospital. My wife and her questioned why, they said there was nothing they could do until she went to the hospital. They threatened to call 911 and DCF if they didn't go. The next 48 hours were unimaginable. She was put in Crisis IU, with druggies and people with severe mental problems. Finally, after 2 days, an older, experienced social worker realized that she did not need to be there and this was a huge overblown mistake by BH Care. She is now in a different IOP program. It amazes me that a health care professional can evaluate someone that have only known for 1 hour and make decisions that will affect them forever.

Rockland Recovery has been such an incredible experience so far! As someone who has been to multiple outpatient facilities over the years, none of them compare to Rockland’s compassionate staff, insightful groups and recovery program that Rockland provides to their clients!
