They’re making me re-do this review because he’s offering me more American chop suey from. (supposedly better than before) The staff here are attentive and caring and always willing to meet my needs. They truly care about my recovery goals and success.
The food is catered and 50/50 depending upon the day. The nursing staff are 24/7 and are prepared to help make my stay comfortable and safe.
All in all, the staff lunches they get in their break room tastes better than the dinner I’m about to get upstairs 😂 (round 2)
(Becca and Gail are the best)
They offered me…. Things to do here that made me grateful for my time here as much as it was short.
My time was well spent with the right people here towards the beginning of the next chapter of my recovery.
Thanks for the help (C & W)

I really love it here and don't know why it has any negative reviews. I mean like other people say, detox kind of sucks in general. It isn't supposed to be a relaxing spa retreat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are the best. I have been a few times unfortunately, but haven't had a bad experience. I always feel safe. Its a comfortable and relaxing vibe all around. The morning groups can be a little preachy and pushy on views for my liking, but the afternoon groups are good. I find it really helpful to be around, and hear from, others going through the same thing as you. The food is amazing!! You will definitely not go hungry. There is also a lot of freedom for a detox. You can always spend time outside which is really nice. I always leave feeling beter and having a positive outlook. Special shout out Yoyo and counselor Matt! 🙂

Saved my life. Not your typical recovery house. Martha, the program director with her hand-picked staff identify with the residents because they know what we're going through. Most, if not more are graduates of the house themselves. They help you face addiction head on, accept it, cope with it so you can heal. There's something magical about the place and Gosnold would be wise to remember that. It's not uncommon for former graduates to request a visit to remember how Miller House helped them recover and stabilize their lives to become contributing members of society. This house works if you are serious about taking back your life. God bless Martha and her unrelenting staff. They never gave up on me. - Jonathan, a grateful recovering alcoholic.

A couple of weeks ago, my father was transported from UMass Marlboro Hospital for observation and medication management. I am extremely grateful for Alissa, Dr Findley, Naomi, Barbara, and Troy, along with many others who simply listened to my thoughts and safely detoxed my father off of the UMass Marlboro ER mistakes in their documents that inaccurately recorded wrong medication s and dosages. Alissa works with family and case management, Dr Findley is a key psychiatrist , Naomi is a forefront at admissions with a welcoming voice, and Barbara and Troy are part of healthcare nursing team. In short, it takes a village to run a behavioral health facility; this village is a n A+ team. Thank for all you do in a challenging population that requires a high skillset team! Just wanted to take a min or 2 outta my Sunday afternoon to let ppl know wat a life saving program hptc Plymouth is,in Aug 21,I had just entered prgm for 7 th time in last 2.5 months, every time I left AMA,they wud allow me back wen I called looking for a bed, never judging me and allowing me my process,I was sick as a dawg and totally defeated, there was a beautiful pregnant nurse there that touched my heart, even tho I was physically unable to go stand up in med line, cuz I physically cud not get out of my bed, time after time she wud come to my room to dose me,it was my 4 th day there and w/d’s were peaking,I hadn’t ate in 4 days and that nurse and the staff ,thru their compassion gave me a slight glimmer of hope, after a positive covid test I was quarantined to a room for 10 days and at that point I knew if I left again I wuda been screwed so I stayed til the miracle happened, not only did I make it thru w/ds ,I got thru the covid virus and made it the 10 days, not long after clinician got me placed into halfway house in east bos and I haven’t looked back since that day,for sum reason I will always remember that pregant nurse caring enuff with her compassion and understanding and at that point I set forth a path of recovery and once again becoming a productive member of society, and most importantly a father to my loving son ty hptc and all of there workers who assist in making miracle everyday

You can access a safe and supportive space to hone in and advance in recovery. With | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was at Steppingstone in 1998! I had my issues with them. Plenty. But, i stuck it out, moved into a grad apartment after almost a year in the phase 1 and 2 houses and got thrown out on my ass for a positive for opiates urine. False positive. My Stepingstone Sisters all pitched in so i had the $35 (in change)for a restest.
and instead of another test they retested the same tainted sample. So i was thrown out. I have my suspucions a sto what happened but i got to see karma hand look e that! It made me even stronger. I stayed sober. And guessed where I worked for 2 years after being thrown out? Yup. Stepingstone Woman's House. The person i think was responsible for my dirty urine had gotten the boot and i gladly worked there in the office.
And, I made sure i treated every single woman with kindness, respect and compassion and i think i was well liked and respected by most. I remember Richie before he was mgr. I knew him. I knew his gif look friend at the time too. I don't know if he's there now but i saw his name mentioned. So, my point is this: Dont bite your nose off to spite your face. You're there for yourself. Sure there are some anal orafices around but who are they to you in the long run...nobody. Focus on yourself and your sobriety. Then get out and live your lives as best you can. I don't ever wanna go back to that miserable, degrading life again. Do you? I don't ever wanna live at Steppingstone or any other halfway house ever again and get pushed around and bullied at times. I will never
be told when to go to bed, when I wake up, when and where I eat I'm here to tell you that you don't have to ever again. It's up to you. Your adults. Plus i can tell you right now from reading some of these whose sober and who isn't. Don't hang with the losers. You know who they are. Good luck.

Falmouth Human Services was recommended to me by Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands (another standout agency - go Courtney Alves) to help me with a housing conundrum. To say they were helpful would be the understatement of the century. Professional yet friendly...dare I say "warm"? The atmosphere is inviting, not at all what I expected of a municipal agency and the people, all of them, were just plain friggin nice. And I would be remiss if I neglected to mention Ms. Helen Malina. Helen is now my Case Manager (sorry Helen) and I know I'm in good hands. Massachusetts is ranked 27th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,725.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Massachusetts vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
