I have a couple ideas as to why though. Try Brockton highpoint and figure it out. When I went to gosnold, both detox and css I was pretty amazed at how nice it was. Maybe other people that gave bad reviews had trouble with the staff or other patients. That's one of the big things in any place. Also, I'm guessing there's a lot of spoiled brats around that area that go there. I met a few spoiled brats when I was there and it's like, are you kidding me? I only went once to detox and then another time straight to css because I was sober for a couple weeks but felt the temptation getting stronger of drinking again. I had a great experience there. My nurses were great. The new facility is great. There is one of the head RS’s named SARAH was the most helpful for me, she was OMG so super helpful. Listen this is a detox. If you have been to a few like I have my experience was good. Most of the bad reviews you see are probably from the bad eggs who were sneaking drugs. Nick Harrington 9 months ago Just wanted to take a min or 2 outta my Sunday afternoon to let ppl know wat a life saving program hptc Plymouth is,in Aug 21,I had just entered prgm for 7 th time in last 2.5 months,every time I left AMA,they wud allow me back wen I called looking for a bed,never judging me and allowing me my process,I was sick as a dawg and totally defeated, there was a beautiful pregnant nurse there that touched my heart,even tho I was physically unable to go stand up in med line,cuz I physically cud not get out of my bed,time after time she wud come to my room to dose me,it was my 4 th day there and w/d’s were peaking,I hadn’t ate in 4 days and that nurse and the staff ,thru their compassion gave me a slight glimmer of hope, after a positive covid test I was quarantined to a room for 10 days and at that point I knew if I left again I wuda been screwed so I stayed til the miracle happened,not only did I make it thru w/ds ,I got thru the covid virus and made it the 10 days,not long after clinician got me placed into halfway house in east bos and I haven’t looked back since that day,for sum reason I will always remember that pregant nurse caring enuff with her compassion and understanding and at that point I set forth a path of recovery and once again becoming a productive member of society,and most importantly a father to my loving son ty hptc and all of there workers who assist in making miracle everyday Jim Kel 1 year ago	3

Martha, the program director with her hand-picked staff identify with the residents because they know what we're going through. Most, if not more are graduates of the house themselves. They help you face addiction head on, accept it, cope with it so you can heal. There's something magical about the place and Gosnold would be wise to remember that. It's not uncommon for former graduates to request a visit to remember how Miller House helped them recover and stabilize their lives to become contributing members of society. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Cristina is a superlative therapist who is as intuitive as she is attentive. She offers valuable perspectives to those who may be lacking in some regards due to their own specific, personal struggles. For patients in their 20s, she offers relatability in spades, which was comforting for a patient who presented as worn down, isolationist husk of a human being. I only went once to detox and then another time straight to css because I was sober for a couple weeks but felt the temptation getting stronger of drinking again. I had a great experience there. My nurses were great. The new facility is great. There is one of the head RS’s named SARAH was the most helpful for me, she was OMG so super helpful. Listen this is a detox. If you have been to a few like I have my experience was good. Most of the bad reviews you see are probably from the bad eggs who were sneaking drugs. As far as CBHCs, CCBC is the cream of the crop. Outpatient services here are far more organized and skilled than other centers in the region that provide mental health services to folks on medicaid and medicare. If you are looking for mental health care, or acute care services, and you can't afford private pay psychology, CCBC is a great place to turn to. After reading through some comments, I'll add: People usually leave reviews for businesses if they've had bad experiences or if they really want to express gratitude. If you have experienced extreme turnover of therapists, or limited engagement with your providers, you should see what things look like in similar agencies around the state like BAMSI, SSTAR, Child and Family services, etc. This is reflective of the lack of reimbursement from payers (Medicaid/Medicare/Most private insurances), productivity standards passed on to providers due to that low reimbursement, extreme demand on the system (more people seeking mental health care than ever), and the impact of greed that has poisoned the entire health care system in our country. If we want better conditions at agencies like CCBC, we need to advocate for policy change. Anyways, CCBC is as well run and organized as any CBHC in the state, and they are doing their best to make lemonade from dried lemons. I'll get off my soap box. Peace.
