I mean like other people say, detox kind of sucks in general. It isn't supposed to be a relaxing spa retreat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are the best. I have been a few times unfortunately, but haven't had a bad experience. I always feel safe. Its a comfortable and relaxing vibe all around. The morning groups can be a little preachy and pushy on views for my liking, but the afternoon groups are good. I find it really helpful to be around, and hear from, others going through the same thing as you. The food is amazing!! You will definitely not go hungry. There is also a lot of freedom for a detox. You can always spend time outside which is really nice. I always leave feeling beter and having a positive outlook. Going on 7 years. you can complain about the staff and whatever other excuses u want but it comes down to either you want to get better and will do anything you can to do that or your probably going to use or drink again. parents this place didn't fail your child your child didn't do the work but don't give up it took me 15 years in and out 154 detoxes endless sober houses two times dying to finally be willing to do whatever it took to stay sober.
