I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. They spoke the truth which is something I hadn’t heard. I didn’t get sober as soon as I left, but I did soon after and I am so thankful for the experience I had there. I have been to treatment myself, but needed to get my family member into a facility, and the intake staff have been excellent. Alix Raymond was fantastic at responding, took so much stress off my family about bringing them in, and went out of their way to make sure things were getting done and that we were okay and taken care of. The facility is beautiful and genuinely seems like a good place to heal. I checked my family member in with ease and felt they were in the best hands in the world when I left. I want to stress that Eric Goldstein did his job and was a complete professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone needed care for a loved one during a difficult time. Caron treatment center did a wonderful job of coordinating care with me and Eric ... Caron treatment center was very professional, compassionate and courteous as well. It is one on the very top treatment centers in the country because it has earned its reputation.
It is disappointing that someone with anger and hate chooses to disparage and slander a professional that was only there under the family and friend’s wishes and with the only goal of helping our family. People can write anything on the internet, but it doesn’t mean it’s true. So take that dramatic preposterous review with a large grain of salt.

Updated review. I’ve been critical of this clinic but Friday I had an awesome visit. Many of the personnel have turned over to include reception. Dr Macy might be the best Dr I’ve ever seen. The whole staff was on top of their game!!
This clinic had improved significantly in recent years but today I had a dreadful experience. Starting at the left check in window I saw 3 people in front of me treated very rudely by the receptionist on the left window. They all had some complication on their appointments and the women rudely dealt with each one moving as slowly as possible. When I got up there she treated me the same way. I was then informed I had no appt with my Doctor that had been scheduled for months and even showed them my confirmations. So it was a wasted trip to then be treated like dirt by someone who clearly hates her job and has no concept of customer service or respect for veterans. The nurse did see me and apologized and told me to give her a letter. There seems to be a lack of clarity with who supervises reception and it appears as no one does. VERY disappointing all around considering at one point it appeared the clinic had cleaned up its act.
One week after I wrote the review above I got a call from the same nurse at the clinic saying I had missed my appointment. This was just one week after she had personally confirmed both a lab and a doctor appointment for next week. The level of incompetence at this clinic is beyond belief.

Its been some years since I went through DAF's 60 day residential treatment program. I have to say that I am horrified by some of the reviews written on this website. By some of the descriptions I'm sure that some of their policies have changed, especially with court ordered people. Having a colorful background myself I can understand some of the policies listed in the complaints could be very true. When you are looking at jail time or court ordered treatment, the treatment time would really sound like a walk in the park. I have spent time in jail once and know that what isn't nailed down will disappear or will be fashioned into something else. Let me be clear, jail is not a walk in the park, its serious and dangerous because the people there are dangerous, that's why they are there. So as far as DAF is concerned, they are dealing with some dangerous people, not all from court ordered. You also have to remember why your there in the first place and what kind of havoc you have created in not only your own life but in the lives of the ones you loved most. They have to have policies in place to protect everyone and some people won't like them. DAF is a business and like any business it takes money to keep in operating. They may take a lot of court ordered people, I don't know, but I do know the state pays, which is more than some other situations. I have nothing but gratitude for DAF. They were there for me when I needed them, and they helped me create the foundation of my recovery. They took me in when no one else would and gave me 3 hots and a cot and armed me with enough information that I haven't found it necessary to return for additional help from them. They gave me life skills to continue with MY RECOVERY! To me its what you make of it. If you go looking in this world for trouble, you will find it. If you go looking for good, you will find that too. Its up to you to make the most of where your at and with what you have period. Coming from nothing, something was better. Thank you DAF.

My experience at Seastone was a great one. All the techs, management and Therapist were all very honest, polite and respectful of all my needs and accommodations. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is truly ready to start there life over with good sobriety. There are plenty of activities that will keep you busy. I have been to several treatment centers and Seastone is by far the most helpful for me on my road to recovery.

I can truly say I have been in Florida for a little over 2 years and half and I have been to many treatments and halfways. Having said that seastone recovery actually gave me the tools to truly succeed and live a happy life without drugs. The staff are very qualified for any addiction/trauma you have encountered. The techs are even more caring and truly want to help rather then tell you what your doing wrong. Having said that I can and will recommend this place to anyone who needs help.

Our son is in the NAVIGATE program at SCMHC. He receives his monthly injection from the nurses at SCMHC. Both Lenny and Kathy are out-of-this-world amazing in every way. They make the one hour monthly trip worth every minute. They have embraced our son with love. Their humor and gentle care toward him— and us, his parents, has been such a weight lifted in tremendously tough times. The staff we have encountered (primarily Candy and Justin) have also been considerate and helpful. I am so thankful for the monthly services we receive at the SCMHC. I know a lot of poor reviews reference the inpatient treatment, which we have thankfully not had to use thus far, but the outpatient care has been really great. Sure, the building is old and smelly, but that’s not important; rather, the care received is! Thank you for helping the fragile mentally ill and their families as they traverse these scary and often very dark roads! We cannot thank you enough! ❤️😊

A very important service that doesn't seem to get as much love as it deserves. I appreciate the staff including Mrs Candy who's always there and going the extra mile to ensure that the family members that I'm looking after are properly taken care of. For the years that I've been going here things haven't changed much I wish it got more government support.

The facility is nice. It is not fancy, but it meets your needs. The food is great, and the staff is kind. I got what I needed. They do not ask for money, remember that as you get a warm bed and three meals a day. It is not supposed to be easy or fun.

I am currently receiving out-patient treatment at the ECT suite of the Fair Oaks Pavillion, Delray Medical Center. I must say that the expertise and professionalism of the staff that work in the ECT Suite is "World Class." Everyone is very caring and interested in helping me progress with this therapy. If it wasn't for this support from the staff, I do not believe I would have made it this far with my treatments. The coordinator of the Program, Myrlande Banica, is an outstanding Nurse, in my opinion. Her bedside manner is very reassuring and comforting, which is an important factor with this type of treatment. I cannot say enough about Ms. Banica. There is a lot to do in the ECT unit from what I am able to observe, but it operates like a well-oiled machine. Ms. Banica and her colleagues in the unit, including Nurse Sareen, Nurse Jen, and Kevin, are part of a team whose top priority is always the medical care and comfort of patients such as myself. I must also recognize the physician who administers the treatment to patients.....Dr. Caseen. I have a high degree of confidence that when Dr. Caseen is administering my treatment, I am in good hands. Finally, I want to express my appreciation to the Medical Director, Dr Amanda Darling, for accepting me as an out-patient. If you are looking for a safe and effective treatment for your disorder, look no further than Fair Oaks Pavillion (ECT) and their exceptional staff. I have had hospital stays for other health issues in my life, but I have never experienced this level of care. Seeking help at this facility is one of the best decisions I have made.

Irving reconnected my friend's sister and her estranged husband into fixing their marriage and overall relationship. Their whole family thought they were at the point of no return but within a few sessions they were going on dates again and we were all so relieved. I have been seeing this therapist for about a year now and he has helped me so much. I was having trouble with my anxiety and depression, but he helped me work through the problem with a combination of medication and therapy.
