Truly a great place and anyone who says otherwise simply did not truly try and trust the program. Thanks to the staff and the environment I learned so much skills when it came to dealing with others, negative emotions, cravings and overall life in general not to mention they have helped me become 107 days sober and I plan to continue this journey. this place helped me reach a new high in my life. all of the staff there were more than amazing towards us and always tried their hardest to help us be successful and happy. i was lucky to find them when i needed help the most. i’ll reach two years sober in 2 months and if i wouldn’t have went there, i strongly believe i wouldn’t be alive today. they will push you to be the best version of yourself you can be!! the only reason i give it a 4/5 is because the food was terrible besides when larissa would cook for us. garrett and rachel will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've been struggling with addiction for over 30 years and have managed to be free from active addiction for 5 years.
I have gone from taking 24mg per day of Suboxone daily down to the equivalent of 8mg per day! Clean Slate has helped me to manage my recovery so well and I'm going to be graduating from substance use disorder counseling program which is so exciting knowing that I've come this far and now I can help other people with their recovery! I traveled from Saginaw, MI for 3.5 hours to this facility for my first experience with inpatient rehabilitation for addiction, and boy am I glad that my very first interaction and encounter with a program and facilitator in this profession was with this place! They are very professional and thorough and fair in their policy and implementation on those in the program while still allowing the room for individuals to have the unique care or alterations to their new restrictions in the program that takes into account the very unpredictable and varying differences in the residents lives and needs. The facility was very clean and more than acceptable for my needs. The location is removed enough from the hustle and bustle to not tempt but not too far removed you feel isolated. The groups and their lessons and program literature was completely in current recommendations with the latest available information education and resources readily available for your recovery journey and services. One woman had her child with her and the staff was more than helpful and supportive in providing child supervision and care. The child was content and while we know not so, seemed totally unaffected and unaware of any possible difficulties in the mother’s life. When there is an issue of any type it is very quickly and satisfactorily addressed. There was a man who was stalking the property in a vehicle one night and so a worker came out with us while we smoked cigarettes in which there was then another man who wandered on to the parking lot and this worker was very professional but stern and unmoving in her directing him away and off the property. I felt like a baby bear and she was definitely mama protecting her cubs! I felt so safe and sure that she was dedicated to our well being. Honestly I can’t praise this place and their workers enough! If you are thinking of sobriety and feel that rehab is appropriate for the start of your journey , then make the trip here!

Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz are single-handedly the reason for the growth I've had in my mental health. To be honest based on the last place(arbor mental health services) I tried seeking help from with my mental health and the "answers" I got from that place made me very learly/nervous to reach out to anyone ever again to seek assistance with my mental health.
Seeing the reveiws on NCHC made me even more worried that I was going to be treated like another number or just another person with a list of problems that don't matter. After a few sessions With Troy and Sabrina i realized quickly with how they communicated with me and how they treated me that I knew I was in the right place with people who actually cared and wanted to see my mental health successes.
What Ive come to realize is that I get and understand the rap that this place gets. To be honest alot of it is probably people who are upset because they aren't getting what they want or what they think they need.
Troy and Sabrina are the type of people who will listen to what you have to say, apply your situation to what they have learned and what they have been taught and will apply their knowledge to your situation for the best mental outcome of whatever it is your trying to accomplish mentally.
Hats off to Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz. You guys are what the mental health field truly needs to be able to find success in your mental health. The industry needs more people like Troy and Sabrina.

Was at facility for a lengthy period of time. Was so sick could not move in the bed. After a number of weeks the PT/OT got me to the point I could walk again. The nursing staff were always responsive and caring. Thanks to all of you

We need this agency to stay intact. All their programs are engineered to benefit not only the city of Sheboygan, but all the communities in all of Sheboygan county, whether the average person in any of our communities is acceptable or not. No one who works there is discriminatory and I have never experienced nasty behavior or disrespect on the department grounds.

Dr. Plumb has changed my life. There may not be many psychiatrists in traverse city but I’m fortunate enough to have DR. Rachel plumb as my doctor for 5 years now. I’m comfortable enough to tell her things i wouldn’t normally tell a psychiatrist. The front staff is incredibly helpful and supportive. I’m grateful for ATS.

My two year old had a bike accident and when we arrived we were notified that urgent care was closed and there were no more appts left for us to get him in. As we were waiting, one of the women at the receptionist desk overheard us and gave us info about other urgent cares in Duluth and then another gave him a bear stuffy and called a nurse assistant to come look at it to see if we needed to drive to urgent care. They even had a doctor look at it quick, then clean it, and bandage it. I was SO impressed with the kindness of everyone involved in helping us. Thank you Everyone from the bottom of my heart. You truly are all amazing people.
