Went there for a trunk or treat event. Everyone was nice and pleasant The kids enjoyed themselves. Also if they had a wonderful presentation about the use of narcan and was given free narcan away to help the community. I love that they were making a positive impact in the community while also giving to the children.

I normally wouldn't have written a review but it was comical to read some of the reviews here and felt like I should leave a comment as well. If you spend any amount of time attending group or individual therapy at Clinton Counseling Center, you will quickly find out that this place seems to be the only and last hope for people that have hit rock bottom in life, whether it is with chronic unemployment, broken relationships, abandonment from loved ones, homelessness relying on the generosity of Macomb County funding and the staff here will go above and beyond to act like the middle person to get you the resources you need, advocate for you, communicate with probation officers or psychiatrists or aiming to connect you with a primary care physician or anything to help you through your journey to recovery. If the client makes an effort, you will find good support from the team at Clinton Counseling Center which is honestly a very bare bones operation but a very critical and needed service that isn't drawing in money like most other larger organizations are. Take advantage of this gem if you need it and don't be swayed by those that have had "bad" experiences that often was not caused nor exacerbated by anyone at the counseling center.

Truly, the best kept secret of Macomb County! I am amazed at the level of kindness and care offered by every single person you'd interact with here. They are genuinely empathetic and will figure out any way possible to support you in receiving the funding you need for housing, transportation, medical and psychiatric care that the government already has allocated. Clinton Counseling is under the banner of Comprehensive Youth Services that supports children, teenagers, young adults and older in providing counseling, therapy and life skills in life to thrive and overcome every challenge that they've experienced in the past!

I saw Jacqueline, a therapist, for more than two years, and she was great. She's a great listener and had good feedback for me. She also has a great sense of humor, which, to me, is important in a therapist. The office ran smoothly and they sent reminder texts and phone calls before each appointment. I recommend Eastwood BH!

I give this place only a 4 star because they make it mandatory to see a therapist on a monthly basis in order to see your psychiatrist. It is a total inconvenience to me having to deal with an unneeded therapist.

I have been an outpatient at New Oakland Family Centers for approximately eight years. Following the loss of both parents within a span of five months eight years ago, and subsequently losing my fiancé to cancer a year later after a five-month diagnosis, my case necessitated placement in a psychiatric facility for two weeks on three separate occasions. At New Oakland, I began seeing a therapist, a psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management, and a case manager. Throughout my interactions, I have found the staff, including the front desk personnel, my therapist, nurse practitioner, and case manager, to be consistently kind, compassionate, and professional. Although my condition improved significantly within a couple of years, I continue to receive support from New Oakland to this day. I appreciate the exceptional care I have received and extend my gratitude.

From the first phone call to the current therapy, I appreciate everything you have all done for us. The front desk gals always have a smile and are friendly and helpful. We also appreciate the ways they decorate the front to show they truly care! Building maintenance on the other hand could be upgraded and your snow removal needs to be quicker knowing patients are coming in an out all day. Parents don't carry boots at all times!

My name is Vernon and I been a patient at Biomed since 2010. Biomed is one of the best clinics in the Metro Detroit area. They always welcome everyone and will not judge you at your current status in life. The staff is very polite and courteous, and biomed offers a safe enviorment during your recovery. Biomed offers various didatics, group therapy, and counseling. I've been clean for 15 years. Unfortunately they no longer except private insurance. They do except Medicaid. Its $80 or $100 a week cash. There is also a block grant you ask abou through access, and Biomed. You are requires to see your counselor once a month, either in-person or through a phone session. Groups and didactics can be done either in-person or through a zoom meeting. Biomed is open from 5 am to 1 pm. Biomed offers takehomes to patients who follow the rules. If your interested in becoming a patient, please call and set up an intake. The process only takes around 1 to 3 hours to complete. After you finish the intake process you get your first dose that day.

There are undoubtably negative reviews, but I have encountered nothing but people willing to help while there. It is very safe, warm, and friendly. The caseworkers can help immensely with trying to get you stable, both mentally and physically. They have employment services to help get a person working. Counseling, prescribing, a lab for any required bloodwork, and I know they have more.

As a long time nomad, I’ve seen recovery practiced different ways in different places, but this is the AA I remember from my early sobriety. I have a lot of commitments that affect my ability to get to meetings, but when I want the real thing I know where to get it. I see a lot of bad reviews on here and wanted to offer up my positive experience to hopefully encourage you to use this Richmond office. My daughter has been seeing Ashley S. for about a year now. We have nothing but great things to say about her. She has knocked down her walls and allowed her space to feel comfortable. Not only does she listen to what my daughter has to say, she listens to what we have to say as well. I wish everyone could schedule their children with her- but don't because we found her first! The mind is subjective and so is therapy, i believe if you have a bad experience you simply try somewhere else which may practice a different field of psychology that could help more. Therapist are a guide like a GPS, but I feel like too many people expect them to take the wheel and just fix their problems for them. I had a great experience and have been able to get myself not only in college but running again and I would feel comfortable going back if need be. Therapist were great and that’s all that matters to me!

The most amazing and caring staff on the planet!!! Big advantages are- you stay in their facility the entire time and always watched by a personal care giver and nurse. Other places make you get a hotel room and they don’t watch you. Advanced Detox also prescribes you all the meds you need to recover as quickly as possible. Some other places don’t do this. Advanced Detox WANTS YOU TO WIN AND THEY STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE SURE YOU DO JUST THAT!!! I am eternally grateful for every single person in that beautiful God serving organization. I got so much love for this place. From my initial late night phone call with RN Jeanne who reassured me that I was correct in refusing to get stuck on suboxone for 7oh dependence to meeting with Laura and then all the great nursing/patient care staff (especially Pat, with RT) as well as Dr. Aharonov, this place is the real deal. I don’t think I would have been able to get off 7oh any other way. The morning after the procedure was no walk in the park (fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, insomnia); but not having to suffer thru the intense body aches and pains as well as other opiate withdrawal symptoms for 4-7 days at home was well worth the price of admission. If you can handle a bad hangover for a day plus a couple more days of diarrhea, you can handle this. They also give you meds to help ease whatever symptoms you have after. I can’t tell you how many times I had tried quitting at home unsuccessfully (even with comfort meds like gabapentin and clonidine); I knew I had to go somewhere where I could just “rip off the bandaid” and be done with the nightmare I was stuck in and flying to Michigan was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’m going on nearly a month now since I was there and you couldn’t pay me enough to ever touch 7oh again. I’m forever grateful for this place and the amazing staff that works there.

I have been going to this facility on & off since 2017. I have seen many staff members come & go, and right now, I believe the Dearborn CMS location has the best group. They have each others backs, they work with patients to be flexible, and the team as a whole works with synergy. Tiffani has the talent of memorization, multi-tasking, dealing with difficult situations, plus many others all while maintaining a professional & pleasant demeanor. RN Tanya is professional, explains things clearly & thoroughly, and has a really big heart for her job! Counselor Yete gives great talks & guidance. She shows concern for us, in our journey inside & outside of the clinic. She is wonderful! And of course our lovley Dr!!! She is so professional with the best bedside manner. She is one of the only Dr's I've experienced here who really cares. I recommend anyone needing care to come here.

Honestly your stay at any rehab really comes down to what you put in it. The food is good. Its a big place with nice lounging areas. Of course the beds are cramped and not king size but what else would you expect. They just put a lot of money into the outside. A basketball court and pickle ball.. they treat you well there. All the staff is amazing. Ryan and Lori are both awesome! George in the kitchen is the man! Just remember its not supposed to be a 5 star resort. I would recommend this place to anyone. The one thing I would complain about is I always seem to get seriously congested and sick but hey it is rehab. I am thankful for meridian and thankful to all the staff!!! 😁😁😁🫠
