To be honest I m not sure why everyone hates this place, usually when you re going to a place like this, medication and therapy will be in the question, so will other forms of help, you re here to get mentally well, at least that s what I came here for, I ve been with CMH since I was 9 years old. Now 20! They have lots to offer in all honesty, I ve been diagnosed with Consistent Depression, PTSD, ED, social anxiety, Bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder, and it s definitely not easy to live with, some people struggle with finding the right medication for them, and that s been me since I was 9 years old.I ve been on multiple medications and to no prevail unfortunately, but that isn t the prescribers fault, some medication just generally doesn t work for others like they do for some, we re all different and I m still on that journey with finding what works best with my new prescriber here, she mentioned to me that they can do blood tests here to find out what medication is compatible with YOU, And what side effects are more likely to occur, which I ll be taking! So I definitely recommend you to do that if you re serious about your needs.I m currently on 3 medications for my mental health and will be receiving a 4th, and I sure hope it helps! I m ready to be free of dealing with my mental battles. If you re worried about being on too many meds and think 4 is too much, don t hesitate to let them know that and they ll most likely find other medications that battle multiple things at once, rather than having to take much more than you d want. But there definitely isn t a cure all pill XDIf your psychiatrist or prescriber isn t listening to your needs or what you d like to be on, there is other ones within the same building, either virtually or in person. Just go and do that before quitting entirely with this mental health service dealing with medication, same goes with therapy, find other therapists before you go transferring.I know mental health is hard and is a struggle, trust me. I ve lived that route my entire life, but just try your best to not give up.. and try to put faith and hope into your treatments and who you re working with to battle with that you go through. I know not everyone s experience will be the same as mine, but I ve had some prescribers and therapists I absolutely hated from here, and that s why I switched to different ones within the same building and finally found ones who I feel listen to me.I d rate this place 5 stars for never giving up on me, and accepting me back when I gave up on them, they ll try their best to listen to you, and will do what they can to help you, giving you resources and recommendations, etc So hopefully your experience here won t be too bad.And if you feel they re putting you on too much medication, or are doing something you don t quite feel comfortable with, just let them know that, and if you re a minor explain that to your parent or guardian! So that you can both discuss that to the person you re seeing. And hopefully all goes well. And like I said this is just my experience and I cannot speak on the behalf of others, but I do have faith that you ll get the treatment you need, just don t forget to tell them how you re truly feeling.Ps, Best of wishes to current you and future you! You re here for a reason, don t waste that

I recently went to ARD and the reviews you read are legit. I talked to Laura multiple times before I went and I was really nervous. She made me feel better about going and is super cool. Without her they may not have as many patients. A driver picked me up and took me back to the airport so they make everything pretty easy. I was on oxys then suboxone for 15 years after a car accident and was tired of how it made me angry at times and ruled my life and schedule. It helped contribute to ruining my relationship with my daughters mom and I just wanted off of it now. She was not very supportive either. It is a fast process for the worst of the withdrawals but you will need to follow their program when you get home. Frieda is great and adjusted my meds on the days I called. I've been home a month and I still have low energy and lethargy but I'm working through that with exercise. Laura keeps in contact with me and she truly cares about people. Pat is awesome and we had some great chats. I recommend going here if you are struggling. It wont be easy but if i can do it, you can too. Now I can enjoy my time with my kids and granddaughter. Stay strong and God Bless. Thanks ARD and Laura, you are a rockstar!!

First, I want to say that this review isn’t based on my personal experience, but a friends who isn’t comfortable sharing their name on this platform.
After months of research, he took a leap of faith and chose this center over a similar center in Florida that was double the price. Because he doesn’t have insurance, he had to come out of pocket so this obviously was the more practical option price wise, but also care wise. If you’re paying 5k+ for treatment out of pocket at a facility, you’re doing so because you want to know you’re in good hands and have a staff of people who will be with you through the process. Releasing someone after 24 hours to a hotel room with active monitoring just doesn’t seem right when you’re paying 20k+ for a treatment (the other facility doesn’t accept insurance either). Of course, rehabs want to make money- a business is a business. But that doesn’t mean everyone shouldn’t be treated with respect and quality care. The staff here, on the other hand, supported him the entire time and made sure he got the care he needed. He is 6 months sober now!
The treatment isn’t by any means “easy” but Rome wasn’t built in a day. No treatment is going to be easy to break the shackles of addiction, you have to want your sobriety and to be free. If you don’t want it, no treatment will save you from going back and using. But if you want it, then this place is a no brainer. You will feel some exhaustion, maybe even a lack of motivation but the important thing is to get up and move around. All of that will balance itself out. Take vitamins before and after your procedure, and thank God for another day! I am currently saving up to come here for my own treatment from an Oxy addiction, and will update my review from my personal experience once I have.

At the heart of what I love about River s Bend is therapist Julia Greenbaum. I initially struggle to open up but she has met me where I m at mentally and changed my life. Her methods are down-to-earth yet professional, her insights are relevant, her empathy is tangible, and she goes above and beyond to be there for her clients. Whether Julia is providing homework/resources for continuous growth outside of our sessions or pushing me to see beyond my present circumstance when we are talking, I always feel safe, respected, heard, and valued.10/10 would recommend!!!

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Thanks for all the help easterseals. You have a 5 star review from my family!!

Update 3/20/25: Upon leaving this review, the medical director here went absolutely above and beyond to fix any issues that I had and went completely out of their way to accommodate my needs on a level I ve never experienced at any doctors office in my life. In fact, I m incredibly grateful for the doctors here, and although their front desk staff could clearly use some work in professionalism and providing proper compassionate care to patients, especially around the holidays, I must say this place is lead with compassionate, heartfelt, loving people who truly care about their patients. I wish that was more obvious from the beginning. I thank Easterseals for the way they went above and beyond for me. Thank youOriginal Review 12/20/24: Once again, I just called to figure out how to proceed with a prior authorization in 2025 with the medical assistant because my medication will no longer be covered by my insurance in 2025. While the medical assistant and I were communicating, someone working there in the background began screaming and shouting at me in the most unbelievably rude unprofessional manner. Literally shouting and screaming at me in the background. I did not raise my voice one single time. I am so unbelievably shocked I am genuinely afraid for my health and wellbeing regarding my professional health with this company. I have been trying to call back to speak to a supervisor just to make sure my medication is being taken care of and I am getting ignored over and over again at the front desk. This feels intentional and I am begging someone from this company to please contact me directly. The stress and toll this is taking on my mental health is making my mental health even worse when this establishment was supposed to help mental health in our community. Please someone contact me directly so I can get support I need for my mental health.

This service has saved my life and many others. From my perspective, if Bio-Med can not help you, then perhaps you're not ready to be in recovery. This facility has many great social services available to those who need them or seek help in conquering SUD.Patience is necessary when being treated here, but I've not ever had to wait an inappropriate amount of time for services at this location. That is subjective to each person's perspective. I encourage clients to remember how long and difficult life is/was before enrolling in the program at this facility. Waiting on a plug or hook-up could take all day plus some time compared to a mediocre wait at a caring facility such as this. It's safe here and full of folks that truly care. I hope this will encourage even 1 person to exit their struggle and begin to recover with Bio-Med's assistance.Best of luck to all who struggle.
