I didn't go here a loved one did and they changed her life - and they still take calls and help almost a year later. It gets you thru the physical part it's on you to follow thru with the rest - if you truly want your life back the price is nothing compared to the daily habit. There is a very special place for the staff here they make you feel special and today that is priceless.

I recently went to ARD and the reviews you read are legit. I talked to Laura multiple times before I went and I was really nervous. She made me feel better about going and is super cool. Without her they may not have as many patients. A driver picked me up and took me back to the airport so they make everything pretty easy. I was on oxys then suboxone for 15 years after a car accident and was tired of how it made me angry at times and ruled my life and schedule. It helped contribute to ruining my relationship with my daughters mom and I just wanted off of it now. She was not very supportive either. It is a fast process for the worst of the withdrawals but you will need to follow their program when you get home. Frieda is great and adjusted my meds on the days I called. I've been home a month and I still have low energy and lethargy but I'm working through that with exercise. Laura keeps in contact with me and she truly cares about people. Pat is awesome and we had some great chats. I recommend going here if you are struggling. It wont be easy but if i can do it, you can too. Now I can enjoy my time with my kids and granddaughter. Stay strong and God Bless. Thanks ARD and Laura, you are a rockstar!!

First, I want to say that this review isn’t based on my personal experience, but a friends who isn’t comfortable sharing their name on this platform. After months of research, he took a leap of faith and chose this center over a similar center in Florida that was double the price. Because he doesn’t have insurance, he had to come out of pocket so this obviously was the more practical option price wise, but also care wise. If you’re paying 5k+ for treatment out of pocket at a facility, you’re doing so because you want to know you’re in good hands and have a staff of people who will be with you through the process. Releasing someone after 24 hours to a hotel room with active monitoring just doesn’t seem right when you’re paying 20k+ for a treatment (the other facility doesn’t accept insurance either). Of course, rehabs want to make money- a business is a business. But that doesn’t mean everyone shouldn’t be treated with respect and quality care. The staff here, on the other hand, supported him the entire time and made sure he got the care he needed. He is 6 months sober now! The treatment isn’t by any means “easy” but Rome wasn’t built in a day. No treatment is going to be easy to break the shackles of addiction, you have to want your sobriety and to be free. If you don’t want it, no treatment will save you from going back and using. But if you want it, then this place is a no brainer. You will feel some exhaustion, maybe even a lack of motivation but the important thing is to get up and move around. All of that will balance itself out. Take vitamins before and after your procedure, and thank God for another day! I am currently saving up to come here for my own treatment from an Oxy addiction, and will update my review from my personal experience once I have.

This place was a pivotal part of my recovery journey. I was here twice, once in September 2019 and once in March 2023 (which was my last time in rehab). I ve been to several different rehabs all over the state and I ll say this:Brighton isn t the nicest facility, they don t have the best food, but Brighton has THE BEST therapy, therapist, and THERE is where you get some of the most one-on-one time with your therapist. They give you real thoughtful work to do on your own and hold you accountable to change and doing the work if you say you really want it. I didn't know how to live life without a buffer Brighton gave me the tools to begin the recovery process I am still clean and sober after a horrible detox from barbiturates and Suboxone, I am thankful and grateful everyday that I made the decision to call and ask Brighton for help. Even after being shipped out to the hospital after 2 weeks they let me back in and gave me the tools and advice to start my recovery process.Thankful and Grateful

Best experience for recovery in the state in my opinion. Food is great, plenty of activities, outside time, basketball and other enjoyable options. The classes were amazingly enjoyable and informative. The staff and cooks were always helpful , kind. They offer AA or NA meetings. If you re struggling with any substance abuse you owe it to yourself to at least check them out. Don t hesitate to start your journey to sobriety. You ll thank yourself later.

This place is the best! I've been to other treatment centers but Nardin Park outclasses them all by leaps and bounds. The staff has a friendly but no nonsense attitude which I appreciate. They are professional and caring at the same time. For someone like me that is here for treatment and not a "Social Club", NPRC is the place to be!!!Well, it's 2023 and time for a life change. Thanks to NPRC I have been "clean" for over 2 years. I feel that I am ready to take the next step in my life. Time to detox out of the program. I am so ready to move on. I came to Rose Hill in July 2005. I was put on the right medication but gained a few pounds. I went through the program being on three different crews. The work therapy program is top notch. In August of 2022 I decided to go off my medication completely. I lost weight but was very manic and went to the Hurley hospital psych ward then back to Rose Hill. The Rose Hill psychiatrist got me back on medication and I'm very successful today in the community. I currently have two regular jobs. I gained weight but am losing it on a healthy scale. I recommend Rose Hill.

At the heart of what I love about River s Bend is therapist Julia Greenbaum. I initially struggle to open up but she has met me where I m at mentally and changed my life. Although the entire facility is professional and courteous, Julia takes her standard of care to places I have never seen the bar raised to before. Her methods are down-to-earth yet professional, her insights are relevant, her empathy is tangible, and she goes above and beyond to be there for her clients. Whether Julia is providing homework/resources for continuous growth outside of our sessions or pushing me to see beyond my present circumstance when we are talking, I always feel safe, respected, heard, and valued.10/10 would recommend!!!

Thank you BioMed for your dedication. This is my truth. I am in recovery and I also completely stopped drinking alcohol 2 1/2 months ago. I am a hard working tax paying contributing member of society. I am at the same time healing repercussions of physical, emotional and verbal abuse, gaslighting and neglect. Do not misunderstand me it goes against my principles to mess with another person’s job. However, BioMed has a counselor that has no business counseling women in any capacity. I understand that abused women, including myself, require a bit more reassurance and support not further abuse. Dennis H. has stated to me more than once, “ignorant independent American women .” This is what he really thinks of women. He is a fraud, an abuser and a thief. Ps Good riddance to him. This service has saved my life and many others. From my perspective, if Bio-Med can not help you, then perhaps you're not ready to be in recovery. This facility has many great social services available to those who need them or seek help in conquering SUD. Patience is necessary when being treated here, but I've not ever had to wait an inappropriate amount of time for services at this location. That is subjective to each person's perspective. I encourage clients to remember how long and difficult life is/was before enrolling in the program at this facility. Waiting on a plug or hook-up could take all day plus some time compared to a mediocre wait at a caring facility such as this. It's safe here and full of folks that truly care. I hope this will encourage even 1 person to exit their struggle and begin to recover with Bio-Med's assistance. Best of luck to all who struggle. ❤️‍🩹

I ll try not to use any specific names in my review All the folks I have met here are friendly, VERY knowledgeable & welcoming. Plus, they really care about their clients. You don t get this at every recovery place. (Sadly, been to quite a few).Like all these programs, you get what you put into it. They point that out to ya.And let s face it. With the success rate of us clients staying clean, the majority of us being court ordered, in conjunction with the sad fact that a small percentage of us fail by dying, the folks that work here have a really hard job.To end on an up-beat note:- I posted pictures of the lobby because Tracy would probably yell at me in our next session if I took a picture elsewhere. They have a nice drinking fountain in the lobby, not saying I ever had to wait long er anything.- And my one complaint (so 4.9 stars) is that they don t have snow days, like we had school. We live in Michigan ya know. I complained once and got a response back from Nate. He said something to the effect of ; Recovery doesn t have snow days. He is always so wise (and witty).

I had a great experience with therapy here. When I was through and wanted my notes and paperwork from my time there I called the place and was transferred to medical records where I left a message to return my call. My call was returned within the day and I was emailed my paperwork asap, no problem. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

i competed the adult PHP and i couldn’t be happier about my time at new oakland! i am a healthcare provider myself and the therapists, providers, and support staff are SO genuine and kind. being in a group therapy setting was a scary thought initially but i felt that it was a very safe space to share my experiences. i also enjoyed hearing other’s experiences as it helped to remind me that we are all going through similar issues in life. the therapists even completed the worksheets along side of us and shared their experiences about their own healing journeys which was reassuring. i’ve learned and grown so much during my time here and i am very appreciative of the employees who made it happen: zach, mara, michelle, amber and everyone else. ya’ll deserve a raise LOL. thank you!!! :)
