Where do I start...Checked into Burkwood on 09/25/2023 a shell of the person i once was for my 8th attempt at treatment a hopeless dope addict and the man who left 42 days later was almost unrecognizable as the same person. I am going to keep this short and to the point. This place saved my life! To anyone who has been to treatment before and failed to stay sober after I have an easy recipe for success i will lay out for you and if it worked for me it can work for anyone and here it is. Call burkwood make a plan, show up, Surrender(#1 biggest thing you have to do) and by that i mean just give in to the process and listen to what they are saying even when you want to question why just do what they are telling you they are not doing what their doing for any other reason then it flipping works, next is get involved and share with your peers and last but not least don't leave till they tell you your ready to and follow their recommendations its just that easy! The food at burkwood was amazing the staff was amazing and the accommodations overall were also amazing! Special thanks to Cheryl, Kelly M, Will, Kevin, Jake, Aaron and that's just a few of the people who made my recovery possible and as magical as it was!

I ve had a very good experience with Valhalla Place in Woodbury. One time the building had water damage and I had to wait like 2-3 hours at another clinic to get dosed. Front desk people are always so nice and helpful. My Therapist is the second best I ve ever had and I can go back 25 years experience with them. Other Therapists I had was when I lived in Michigan and he was the best by far. But I have lived in four states in the 35 years of my 60 year life to compare Good and Bad Therapists.I moved back home in 2015 and have seen her ever since then, and I also recommend a therapist to everyone because it s a great way to dump your baggage, and I know that it isn t going to be said to no one anywhere at any point to be thrown back in your face.I also like having feed back when dealing with issues whether it s family, friends or husband or even children issues.

This facility and their program is amazing and saved my life. I have been in this program 4 times I believe. This is not because the program was ineffective but because I was battling a lifetime of issues. The staff is like family to me, they genuinely care and they played a huge role in changing my life. I also participated in their aftercare programs PHP/ partial hospitalization program and the step down program from that was the AMHOP/ adult mental health outpatient program. These were also very effective and a key factor in my rehabilitation. After care is so important, although this was stressed when I was completing my treatment plan I did not take advantage of these services the first few times I completed the inpatient program. However after completing both after care programs, I understood the importance and have been able to maintain my mental health and sobriety. Most everyone dealing with addiction knows 9.8/10, we are self medicating dealing with severe underlying mental health issues. So addressing both issues at the same time was definitely what the missing piece to the puzzle. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital Unity Campus! Oh I didn’t mention the food and beds, way better than any other facility I have been to! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. The staff is so warm and welcoming, you will feel right at home! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. Definitely worth investing your time, you will NOT regret your decision to give it a try!

I had my first visit yesterday. The doctor was extremely thorough with the exam, asking questions about things I have long forgotten. He and the rest of the staff were very polite and patient. I've been in 13 treatment center in my life im sober mow and I went to a vinland in lorretto mn I think there owned by the same people I am proud to say after leaving vinland I now have over 15 yrs sober if it wasn't for vinland I would of lost my family ill never be able to repay vinland in lorretto for what they did for me

Not a fan of hospitals, I made a visit to a cousin of mine who just had surgery. I walked into her room and the first thing that hit me was the clean smell. Her bedding was so clean and crisp and inviting I decided any future surgeries for me will be a FV Lakes. Not a dust bunny in site and I had no fear of using the restroom. When her food arrived that looked and smelled nummy too. Keep up the good work.
