This place is great. I was very scared to attend but after a week or so, felt at home. The staff is amazing. I just wish we had more time with staff. There is a good amount of peer-led activity and that can be hit or miss. But the sessions with staff were always great.
Food is above average for a place like this and the medical staff is top notch.
I would recommend anybody needing treatment to go to Center City.
For those crying and saying there was no change in their loved-ones... those folks must have not been attending sessions or doing the work provided. I watched grown adults walk in as big zombie children and leave as men - ready to go to the next phase. After your stay, YOU STILL HAVE WORK TO DO. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

Burkwood is an amazing place. Their staff truly care and are so rich of information to share about addiction, recovery, and real life. They’re are meant for their jobs. I’ve learned so much while I was there. I valued the daily book we filled out on our own, fully engaging and eye opening. I was lucky to have Pete as my counselor. His approach was thorough and helpful. My only complaint is that it was crowded there and access to phones, bathrooms, and laundry was a bit tricky but maybe that will change at some point. Thank you Burkwood!

My time at Burkwood was amazing, to say the least. The staff were great and it truly is up to you if you want this place to help you! Take what you can from it and be grateful. Reading some of these horrible reviews is crazy to me! It’s not a vacation - for a treatment center it’s pretty damn nice! The classes do get a little monotonous, but for the most part were engaging and helpful. My counselor Derek was the absolute best and the RAs Diane, William, Kristin, Aidan and Ashley were genuine and helpful. They are heavily rooted in AA which I thought I would hate at first, but if you’re just open-minded and listen to what speaks to you it’s not too shabby. They helped me set up IOP and sober living after and I’m enjoying the beginning of my sober life thus far. Thank you Burkwood ❤️

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava.
Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! I’ve had a very good experience with Valhalla Place in Woodbury. One time the building had water damage and I had to wait like 2-3 hours at another clinic to get dosed. But that was a freak thing.
Valhalla has saved my life. I’ve never had an issue there that wasn’t my own doing.

This place helped me save my life. The education on recovery at Pride is top-notch, the staff is informed and open, the facility is nice enough and they allow vaping now! All that aside the love and inclusiveness I felt there did more for me than anything. For the first time I didn't feel like I had to play a part to be somewhere. Like any VA facility, this one has many concerns to resolve to provide quality care to veterans. They seem to do their best with less. Personnel and provider shortages are becoming a problem. Some appointments can take several months to be seen. Community care needs to improve in providing referrals for quality care outside the VA and not just those who are the lowest bidders. VA recently denied over $10k in payments to my dental surgeon because they couldn’t get the bill submitted within their 6 month window because the clerks had repeated bouts of COVID. I can no longer maintain continuity of care because of VAs lack of consideration. The dental provider was highly skilled and experienced. Now he refuses any further authorizations from any VA. Today’s visit went very well at the VA for a minor procedure. All staff and providers were delightfully cheerful. That is certainly an improvement. God bless!

They offer supervised medical treatment to safely manage withdrawal symptoms during detoxi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Of all the treatment I've been to in the last 15 years, Lakeshore has been the best in many ways, but there is always a few bad apples in a bunch.
Let me explain;
THE BEST:
Emily Schwab and the other Certified Peer Recovery Specialists dive in, driven by empathy and altruism. Getting everything a person needs in early recovery taken care of for you and lining up everything for our near future.
The Good:
The counselors care and are very attentive to our needs and help build a treatment plan worthy of a valiant attempt from our end.
The Bad:
Chad Walker. The treatment director. He is arrogant and selfish. He knows best, just ask him and he will tell you. He is very brash to people in vulnerable states and seems to have taken it upon himself to make his own rules and designs outside the scope of what EOSIS is trying to do for recovery.
Get a new director and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Also I think CPRS workers, especially ones this dedicated, should be independent contractors. Or, they should get paid more than "I think" they do because of the amount of actual work they do for us!!!

I have been in this program 4 times I believe. This is not because the program was ineffective but because I was battling a lifetime of issues. The staff is like family to me, they genuinely care and they played a huge role in changing my life. I also participated in their aftercare programs PHP/ partial hospitalization program and the step down program from that was the AMHOP/ adult mental health outpatient program. These were also very effective and a key factor in my rehabilitation. After care is so important, although this was stressed when I was completing my treatment plan I did not take advantage of these services the first few times I completed the inpatient program. However after completing both after care programs, I understood the importance and have been able to maintain my mental health and sobriety. Most everyone dealing with addiction knows 9.8/10, we are self medicating dealing with severe underlying mental health issues. So addressing both issues at the same time was definitely what the missing piece to the puzzle. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital Unity Campus! Minnesota is ranked 20th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,630.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Minnesota vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Minnesota. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Minnesota that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Minnesota.
Blue Cross Blue Shield is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Minnesota, with 125 treatment centers in the state accepting their insurance. UnitedHealth Group is the 2nd most popular with 111 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 110 drug rehabs.
