This organization is amazing! I have attended many events for Missouri Girls Town, and the stories from former residents truly speak to the support and help that Missouri Girls Town provides. Without them, many of these girls' lives would be destroyed by their abusive parents and foster parents. This organization actually helps these young girls to achieve more and overcome the trauma they have endured. Someone has to help these kids and I'm glad that Missouri Girls Town is doing its part to help these young ladies.

My time at Rusk was outstanding! All of the staff were so kind and treated me so well. I want to thank the Drs, OT Therapists, PT Therapists, Nurses, PT Care Technicians and Administrative Staff and Housekeeping and Dietary Staff. I came out of Rusk much better than I went in. I would highly recommend Rusk for anyone needing Physical Medicine Rehab Therapy. And they had the best food of any hospital I have ever been admitted to! Thanks Rusk Staff for all you did for me!

I was in for an appointment to establish care at the dental side and then they were able to fit my cleaning right in due to a no show. The service was phenomenal. Everything was explained to me BEFORE anything was done TO ME, everyone was kind, and it really couldn't have been better. Plus my entire care team were all women. 5 stars would 100% recommend! 2026: For the sliding scale dental clinic accepted documents are current yr tax return is accepted all yr. from Jan 1-31 previous years tax return or from Feb 1 - Apr 15 current W-2. I believe previous 2 paystubs are also accepted, but am not 100% sure.

Really good facility and has helped more than any place I’ve ever received help/treatment. Great staff, really clean place, helpful and productive caregiving. They teach communication skills, learning respectful and affective manners, self control and ability to be aware, mindful and insightful of self and others around us. And most importantly help the kids learn how to utilize resources and choose to control as well as contributing patience to set goals to let things take time needed. As well as maintaining the idea to be active in being responsible by having chores and set routines. Workers throughout always act on situations in needs and impact the clients and their views because of their true genuine positivity in they’re methods. They always have consistent, structured groups and activities, constantly making sure the kids have fun. Consistently giving engaging life skills and how to function in an everyday life in the outside world. Full of good energy, love, compassion, kindness, reliable, consideration towards each client, but still holding ground to teach kids to take no for an answer, showing and modeling negative, hateful, disrespectful or ignorant behaviors are not acceptable. Really healthy and effective place. BUT ONE DOWNSIDE IS KYLA IS A HORRIBLE THERAPIST😉

When my children were in high school, I noticed the kids today “party” much more than when I was a kid. For a while, I thought their actions were those of ‘normal’ teens, having fun, blowing off steam, etc..After all, they were teens, and mine were enrolled in a tough private school. I tried to justify the pressure not to rock the boat at home. Well, it started getting out of hand; failing grades, disrespect, lies, rudeness, and no concern for each other, and certainly not for my husband or myself. We tried a few licensed therapists whom my children had snowed. An education counselor strongly recommended a wilderness program in Utah for approximately 3 months only to follow up with a therapeutic boarding school for the following year. Parents will do anything for their child, especially when you feel helpless, don’t know where to turn, and you feel them slipping away emotionally. Wilderness may be great for some, but it was a very temporary band aid for mine barely scratching the surface. The so called therapeutic boarding school was the scariest place I had ever visited. I wasn’t one bit surprised when I realized my child regressed at that school, but my intention here isn’t to bash the schools as they may help with other issues, but they don’t address addiction. I’ll get to the point…Crossroads Recovery Program.. I made the call, and it was the best decision I have ever made. As a mother, I knew it was the perfect program for my daughter, and later, my son. My husband, however, took his time doing due his diligence. A week later, our daughter was enrolled, and months after that, our son joined the group. After my initial jitters, I found myself absolutely adoring this program and all it had to offer. I have to say I was weary of my kid hanging out with former addicts, and then I thought, ‘wait, these kids are now sober, no one is forcing them to be here, and helping the new kids in turn helps them. Crossroads is based on the twelve step program. It’s a strong, solid program, for addicts and non addicts. It strengthens relationships and enriches lives, and it can be incorporated in all areas of one’s life. Let me tell you just a few things I have learned from Crossroads; it’s not a short fix-meaning you don’t just go to a 30 day program and you’re miraculously cured! It takes your teen, or twenty something child to want to change his/her life, and it takes at least a couple of years before they are ready to move on from the program…after all, they are young! They have unbelievable second-to-none support from the peers in the group, counselors and group and graduates as well. They have a blast in this program, and come to realize sobriety is much more fun than their previous lifestyles. They have learned real life lessons, and I am still amazed at how grateful, kind, caring, and honest my children are because of Crossroads. Just in the past three plus years we have been involved, several grads are now in college, working, or both, and two that I know of headed off to med school. I am very grateful to have gotten to know the participants in Crossroads; they are the sweetest, most caring, non judgmental and fun group of teens/twenties I have ever known. For the first several months I was involved with the parent meetings because I would do anything to support my children. Over time I have come to realize that those meetings are for me & for my own healing, after all, addiction is a family disease. I am continually learning from the parent education meetings. It’s an unexpected bonus that I feel that I have grown as a person as well, (always a work in progress).These counselors give their time and talents more than any other. A big part of the success of Crossroads is because the counselors have all been there, and the kids can totally relate to them. They get it, and they are totally dedicated. Is it perfect? I would have to say no but I don’t know what I would change! I do know there is no better support out there, I can’t say enough good things about Crossroads. Forever grateful.

The Crossroads program has been such a gift in our family’s life! Thank goodness for this transformative program. There was no better program for our child and family while we were dealing with substance use disorder. In order to help our child we had gone to three hospital programs, an art therapist, family therapist, several individual therapists, a month-long program all in St. Louis. Nothing made a difference that really stuck. We then tried out of state for wilderness camp and therapeutic boarding school. Our child was fine in these programs, yet once home, back to the same self-destructive behavior. Once a young adult we had no way to help or impact behavior. Then we found the Crossroads program. The peer-to-peer support makes all the difference. The counsellors are trained and licensed, yet they also have lived experience so our child couldn’t fool them, get pity, cause shock, or pretend. The counsellors and the youth in the program all can see through the tricks and still come from a place of love, support, honesty, and fun. Recovery stuck. The lessons learned still impact our child in positive ways today. My husband and I were also changed for the better. We learned to let go of anger, fear, and to detach with true love and respect that life on life’s terms is the best teacher for our child. Now our child is happily married with a child on the way. We are all very close, have fun together, and have healthy boundaries. Thank goodness for this amazing program that meets young people with substance abuse issues where they are on their terms. It creates long-term transformation that helps youth learn to thrive and parents learn healthy ways to parent with love and healthy boundaries.

I couldn't have been any more pleased with the treatment I received at Compass Health dentist office in Keene today. Hygienist DeJahand Dr Priya had me in and out in less than 90 minutes with X-rays, initial examination, cleaning and sealing which also included a couple other treatments. These ladies were first rate; efficient and focused. Even the price was right which was important as I'm a self-pay. Going back for two fillings on Monday and, quite frankly, I'm kind of excited to get it done. Highly recommend you give these folks a try. Thanks DeJah and Dr. Priya.

I have been a patient with Burrell beginning back in 2017 when the intake took 3 hours. I was going on and off due to health insurance and copays are a joke and are why many mental health suffers end up homeless, in psych wards, or in jail. Burrell as a whole has changed my life. Blessing me after I lost everything I owned and destroyed the last of my relationships, lost my job, and my place to live having to live in a volatile and uncomfortable living situation with a "friend" and I just got lucky my case worker knew my roommates landlord and put a stat on getting me housing assistance and I was offered a one bedroom in a key card entry, 24/7 support staff, furnished, 1k in needed items because I had nothing, and if I recall they purchased food for me as well, gave me an allowance monthly to take care of myself, and pay my electric bill with, and because I didn't have transportation them having a few weekly trips to the store, park, and even the pumpkin patch or ceramics. The lifesaver was I was enrolled in a program called supported community living and they paid my rent while I went through Disability Claim process and waited for housing assistance to get approved. They explained anything I didn't understand, answered my questions and if they didn't know they would find out who did. Although I had a issue with turnover rate on case workers and the support staff here it's been the perfect environment for me to solely focus on rebuilding my life, learning how to manage my money, go to DBT therapy weekly, DBT Skills groups, EMDR, and psychiatrist all of which have been great at what they do with the exception of a couple of people who are no longer with Burrell and my requests to be reassigned to a different case worker were heard and they got it done as quickly as possible. My psychiatrist Laura Britzig has been my primary psychiatrist for many years now and she was able to get me on a good medication regimine. I was able to get in quickly to have a psychological exam for ADHD within a week of my therapist having referred me. My DBT focused therapist Hannah Howdeshell and I have been working with each other for three years with an exception for a 6 month period where I tried to do some EMDR over zoom. I would've preferred to have done the EMDR in person because I'm ADHD AF and it is impossible to stay focused in my apartment for it to be effective. I benefit better with headphones and vibrating pattles for you to hold that simulates Rapid Eye Movement and I've found that much easier to keep my mind more focused on the session. Overall Burrell has definitely improved over the years and when I would have given a two star at the beginning of receiving service. Now having been more stable in the last 3 years than I have in a decade. I've accomplished many of my goals and taken my treatment very seriously. It's paid off tremendously. Oh and you can't forget the pleasant and sweet ladies and gentle dudes in the pharmacy. They are easy to communicate with and answer your questions about medication and they will communicate with you when the insurance company is giving them trouble and what to expect. They have had great delivery people too. Especially the old veteran guy who has since moved on to another job. He was so polite and he even said he enjoys that I'm not grumpy and mean to him when he drops off the medication. When I would see him at the Berrywood location when there for my medicine or an appointment he would always great me by name and ask how I was doing. I feel a bit guilt for forgetting his name, it's unintentional though as I really struggle with remembering names and birthdates.. I struggle remembering a lot of things though and until I get back on the ADHD med dosage that unscrambles my brains. I forgot my own age and was saying I was a year older for nearly two years. Thanks Burrell for making a positive impact on my life and being that shoulder to lean on while being friendless, and estranged and no contact with both side of my family.

The check-In front desk staff, the nurses, the behavioral health staff, the physicians, the kitchen staff, Dr. Waheed, the NP’s..!!! Well, ALL of their hardworking, exceptional staff, at the Arthur Center. Somehow, most of their staff at this local are still able to exhibit genuine empathy & compassion, despite working in such a trying environment, such as mental health. [Dr. T? This place helped me so much while I was a client there. The staff is understanding, kind and provide care and knowledge and a safe, stable environment. They help you to see the best you and help you to acheive your positive life goals.They are outstanding! I would recommend Nyra to any person suffering from mental illnes/disability.The caseworkers and counselor really go above and beyond to help with whatever they can. However if you are looking for a new psychiatrist, you may need to check before you go. I feel like they are still trying to find the "right" doctor. Just give them a call to find out!
