Great programs they have here at common ground… Excellent program for older adults. My brother has been going to common ground for 30 plus years. He has outlasted plenty of staff members. The clients are each other’s family members. 😊

Ashley colt is amazing but I wasn’t a fan of my therapists changing every few months. Therapy is a no go here but my psychiatrist is thoughtful and caring.

Imani means faith, and I'll never forget the things I've learned that I still go by to this day. Doesn't matter if your forced or went into this place on your own. Regardless they're going to help you to beyond just serving and getting by. Thank you imani and all the employee are more than that because God definitely works there through all of them whether that's their belief or not. I might have to come visit soon. Always Jess

Great Staff !! Dr. Ron is in my mind every day, and I've been doing great for the past two years. Highly recommend for those struggling with inner demons, as the classes dig deep into your soul for the roots of your dependency.. Five and one half 🌟.

All things were done in a timely and professional manner. All my questions were answered.

I have a good Doctor who has helped a lot, worked with me on my meds, and works with my caseworker regularly.

Ive had my share of case workers.. i do have a good one but unfortunately she is on family leave at the moment. So i get another caseworker.. shes either late or never shows. Its been 2 months of a referral of a new dr and therapist.. this company is a joke.. leave you hanging with nothing! Knowing theres nowhere else to go! Im almost tempted to drop out of their services bc they honestly dont care bout their clients..

I love rediscover in Lee summit..I'm actually trying to get a bed date soon.. they really helped me alot when I was in drug court and helped me once I got out of jail after my accident.. I recommend them better than comprehensive mental health..

Really good facility and has helped more than any place I’ve ever received help/treatment. Great staff, really clean place, helpful and productive caregiving. They teach communication skills, learning respectful and affective manners, self control and ability to be aware, mindful and insightful of self and others around us. And most importantly help the kids learn how to utilize resources and choose to control as well as contributing patience to set goals to let things take time needed. As well as maintaining the idea to be active in being responsible by having chores and set routines. Workers throughout always act on situations in needs and impact the clients and their views because of their true genuine positivity in they’re methods. They always have consistent, structured groups and activities, constantly making sure the kids have fun. Consistently giving engaging life skills and how to function in an everyday life in the outside world. Full of good energy, love, compassion, kindness, reliable, consideration towards each client, but still holding ground to teach kids to take no for an answer, showing and modeling negative, hateful, disrespectful or ignorant behaviors are not acceptable. Really healthy and effective place. BUT ONE DOWNSIDE IS KYLA IS A HORRIBLE THERAPIST😉

Mccallum place Kansas city was amazing. Although we all had rough days the staff new how to help and calm patients down. I transferred from residential where I didnt have a good experience and we werent sure how PHP would go for me, but they gave me more insight and opportunity on recovery. They truly cared for patients and continued showing us the road to recovery. Im forever greatful for getting to go to Mccallum KC for my recovery process, im forever indebted to the people there.

McCallum offered excellent care to a family member of mine. The staff created a safe, comfortable environment for my loved one to heal. They offer equine, movement groups, yoga, art groups, and meal challenges in addition to weekly therapy and dietician meetings. This program saved my loved one’s life. If you or your family is considering treatment, I encourage you to take the next step and go! My family was so nervous, but we can not recommend this program enough.

This program helped my family. The staff there was so knowledgeable and communicated weekly about my daughters time in treatment.

I love it here. If you are serious about yourself and your recovery then this is the place for you. Great staff, classes are good . They look past the addition and work also on the addictive behavior of why we use substances.

Best place in KCMO if you know someone looking for housing/counseling for drug addiction and/or mental health problems. They also help out veterans. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I would avoid this place at all cost. No transparency or communication from the get go. I was very delicate in selecting a place I felt comfortable with price wise and personnel wise. I was struggling immensely with mental health issues that needed addressed. I was initially told with my insurance that I would be paying $50 a visit with this program. I went through a job change and lost my insurance so I removed myself for a week and a half until I found new individual insurance. I called 4 times and left voicemails with no response. When I finally got a response I was told I was discharged from the program. While I understand I should’ve communicated my situation a lot sooner and more clearly , there was NO communication or warning that I would be discharged from the program. It was never my intention to end the program and I planned on going back. I attended for 3 months on Mondays only and received medication from the Nurse I am being told I owe $3400 and that I will be owing even more later. I never once received a statement or was communicated to what this program cost. I would never gotten myself into this program knowing I can’t afford the program. It’s a shame that mental health and healthcare has just become a profitable business. I don’t feel like I was ever cared for. I will say Sunday the therapist at this organization treated me well and respected and I am grateful for that.

The cops who carried out the wellness check on me had a rediscover lady with them. She said someone would call me the next day and that i am not alone. It has been 3 days. I couldve been dead by now. These people either dont care or dont have nearly enough funding to actually help people.

i went here for a few months for medicine management with april gardner. she’s just alright with meds i wouldn’t recommend her for anyone who is having a really difficult time. her nurse nancy was my biggest issue. her comments she’d say made me not want to come in they made me so uncomfortable. she one time asked me specifics about my trauma and it made me very uncomfortable since she seemed like she was entertained by the bad things that have happened in my life. she would make comments about weight after i’d ask to not be weighed. she started talking about vibrators (yes that kind) to me for a long time. she knew i had taken time off from college and talked about how the people who dropped out while she was in college were a disgrace

I was impressed with the professionalism of the entire experience with Assessment Services. I spoke with Mr. Reed after scheduling a time with a super helpful and kind office manager, Marge. During the class session Dennis Robinson did a great job. I thought he was very honest, professional, and insightful. I would recommend Assessment Services to anyone who needs a primer in the influence of drugs and alcohol on individuals and society as a whole.

Linda is awesome. I had seen her for several years back in the 2010s and have been seeing her recently again. She is even more helpful now. I highly recommend anyone struggling give Linda a chance. Prices are beyond fair, atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, and just love her therapy dog, whom was pleased to see that it is still the same little guy. I look forward to continuing or relationship. Five stars is just not enough to give her. A+++++++

I have gone there and all they wanted to do is change medication all the time. I felt like a lab rat being used. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
