I showed up with nothing but the clothes on my back and the sliver of hope that I could return to living a life I was proud of. I was hesitant, as I have already been to treatment three other times, but with the support of my family, I made the decision. I was definitely terrified, but what I learned as I got acclimated, is that everyone there truly wants you to succeed. All of the staff have experienced addiction in one way or another, most being addicts or alcoholics themselves. The building is unassuming, but is rooted in a history of spirituality, which is something I was able to reconnect with during my stay, thanks to bible study and wellbriety. Side note: being a repeat treatment offender, I expected to already know most of the “curriculum”. This was not the case. I had never heard of Wellbriety (which turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the program) and everything was presented in a way that just made sense. Their equine program is exceptional and helped rebuild my confidence, which is something I was sorely lacking in. One thing I was particularly anxious about was family week. I had somewhat of a traumatic experience with family week at a previous treatment center. Yes, it was anxiety inducing, but the gifts I’m already receiving from it (more honest and open communication, strengthened relationships and understanding, the ability to own my past mistakes/shame/guilt, and increased self awareness) greatly outweigh the feelings of dread and despair I had before. I also appreciate being able to attend meetings outside of the facility. I chose to stick around Great Falls when I got out, so having that established support community was very helpful upon my discharge. I never thought I would be going through treatment again, but I’m so glad God led me to the doors of Rocky in Great Falls. It’s definitely not a magic pill for a better life, but if you’re willing to put in the hard work, be open minded, and tough out the difficult moments, I think you’ll find your experience to be pretty life changing. Lilli F 1 year ago I'm now 40 and came to this place back in 1999. I hated being there but to be fair didn't have much to complain about. Bt time is been there 6ish months I didn't want to leave. I learn so much being there that I'm still grateful to this day. I earned freedom to walk the grounds unsupervised with permission as well as helping give tours to potential clients. I rode horses often did cattle branding of calves of course and did artificial insemination. I did small engines and wood working along with horticulture which were all a blast. There was a lot that happened in the dorms with the girls but what do you expect when you have so many girls with sick am array of issues. A huge part of getting something from these programs is if you want to. If your ready to get better. The staff members were all fabulous I can't think of anyone who I didn't like. I always felt genuine concern from them. I was even given the privilege to go off campus 1x a week to do gymnastics. I still to this day have small decorated box given to me as a gift upon leaving from a staff member named Marilyn. When you opened it it has a tiny box with a small now that says it was filled with her love. They were the light that came shining through the wreckage and the reason my sons will grow up with a father. They didn't just help me quit using; they helped me build a foundation of self-love, confidence, and peace that I never had before. They helped me realize my potential. Jason Kodish 4 months ago I love the ppl working here they are a big prime source of help for me I feel bad for the ones that don't know about this place and are still suffering couse of the lack of info or fear of the building, it's all good stuff from the path program, I was homeless in a shelter at the off the streets, and when I got a contacm t from dinell about joining the path program, at first I was worried I would not get a proved couse my mental state was all not in the right mind, I had 2 case worker there my first one I don't know why but they left, but then Jessica had been a big help many ways helped me with the lease signing and the first meetings with the landlord they keep in constant contact and even when there day was busy if something came up about the apartment Jessica was there, Dinell was always happy to here the good news about everything that happened good and bad and found a away to focus the bad stuff to be a positive thing, they helped me get stuff in my apartment that i was needed, they helped me get the hygiene stuff when i could not afford it even Landry soap was offered tooth past and tooth brush, they do so much for ppl and i really am grateful for everything they helped me with this is just one of the community things that not just homeless ppl can be a part of but the ppl as a whole, i feel they need more workers that are for helping ppl and the, they offered me other services that i all ready had like canceling, medication doctors, even trying to help me get my birth certificate I'll be really grateful for that to be done, any one who sees this i hope u don't let this blow away couse if u do your really only hurting your self and they are the biggest help i could find since my life was turned upside down I could keep going on this but i wont, I'll just say this I would always say only God could help and there was no help or here on this earth that was befor I met the ladies in path. Because I went in with an open mind and wanting to change and be sober and healthy …it worked . I have had my struggles since I have been out but there was not one time that I ever gave thought to go using . Now that I have been out I see why things were done the way they are done at ETC. and with anything in life if you want something bad enough you can have it . If you want to be sober you will take the tools with you and use them . My life is so amazing now and yes it all cause I went to ETC with an open mind and a mindset of wanting to change and live a better life then I ever thought I could . Well I would say it helped me in some ways. I would also say it really just depends. My experience with the staff was amazing and I felt like the ones I had on my unit truly cared about us kids. All the staff I have met have been truly supportive and kind. My only problem is that when I was there they would dose me up on all these different kinds of medications and when I would advocate for myself and tell the psychologist I didn’t want to be on all these high dosed medications because they make me sick, they would always ignore me or just dose me up more. I did have an incident where an other kid on the unit was being weird and inappropriate towards me. I told the nurses repeatedly and they never even did anything to correct this behavior or even make him stay away from me. Other than those 2 things my experience was overall good. RMTC was the best experience I’ve ever had . The equine therapy was the best experience I’ve ever had as well. I’ve been sober 2 years and 2 months since I left treatment and my life has changed in a positive way, im a different person now and I love me. After creating what seemed like complete chaos and destruction in my life and running away from my problems for years, I found my way to Rocky. I showed up with nothing but the clothes on my back and the sliver of hope that I could return to living a life I was proud of. I was hesitant, as I have already been to treatment three other times, but with the support of my family, I made the decision. I was definitely terrified, but what I learned as I got acclimated, is that everyone there truly wants you to succeed. All of the staff have experienced addiction in one way or another, most being addicts or alcoholics themselves. The building is unassuming, but is rooted in a history of spirituality, which is something I was able to reconnect with during my stay, thanks to bible study and wellbriety. Side note: being a repeat treatment offender, I expected to already know most of the “curriculum”. This was not the case. I had never heard of Wellbriety (which turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the program) and everything was presented in a way that just made sense. Their equine program is exceptional and helped rebuild my confidence, which is something I was sorely lacking in. One thing I was particularly anxious about was family week. I had somewhat of a traumatic experience with family week at a previous treatment center. Yes, it was anxiety inducing, but the gifts I’m already receiving from it (more honest and open communication, strengthened relationships and understanding, the ability to own my past mistakes/shame/guilt, and increased self awareness) greatly outweigh the feelings of dread and despair I had before. I also appreciate being able to attend meetings outside of the facility. I chose to stick around Great Falls when I got out, so having that established support community was very helpful upon my discharge. I never thought I would be going through treatment again, but I’m so glad God led me to the doors of Rocky in Great Falls. It’s definitely not a magic pill for a better life, but if you’re willing to put in the hard work, be open minded, and tough out the difficult moments, I think you’ll find your experience to be pretty life changing. I know I did.

Excellent Service at the VA – Highly Recommend! I had an excellent experience with the service at the VA in Fort Harrison, Helena, Montana. The nurse who helped me was absolutely amazing—kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain everything to me and made the entire experience so much easier. I also want to highlight the kindness of the staff throughout the building. When I couldn’t find where I was supposed to go, a lovely woman in the hallway actually walked me all the way to my destination. Even some of the maintenance staff went out of their way to help me find my way out of the building. It’s not every day that you experience that level of genuine kindness and helpfulness. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Experience at the Great Falls VA! I recently visited the VA in Great Falls for blood work and to meet my new primary care nurse, and I have to say I was really impressed with the experience. Everyone I encountered was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The blood work was quick and easy, and my appointment with my new primary care nurse was such a positive experience. She took the time to listen, answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Starting with a new healthcare team can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, but the staff made the whole process feel easy and welcoming. I really appreciate the people who take the time to make veterans feel respected and taken care of. Thank you to the Great Falls VA staff for making my first experience with my new primary care team such a great one! ❤️🇺🇸 Highly recommend!

This place is the best. I've struggled with addiction on and off my whole life until I found ideal options. I've been clean 8 years thanks to them. They have no judgement when u come in sick and beat down from drugs and the world that comes with it. I lost everything while using drugs also lost myself. I have come to love myself and I have a home my family back. They really care about u and make sure you are taken care of without judgements like alot of other places id been to. They have nurse visits also so if need anything they are there for u. Michelle is my doctor and she is my she's so caring and so thoughtful and always ask about how you're doing and your family and if you need anything. Also the nurses I see weekly are the best they are also so caring and thoughtful a couple of them have been there since the beginning of my journey and I'm so grateful for all of the people at ideal options they have all changed my life. The owners put a ton of work into making this place feel welcome and like a home. Definitely the place to go to get some more time under your belt, get into some resources and move forward after. Many others though would agree with me. There may have been crazy things that have happened there but at the same time this place has saved many people from alot of things. I enjoyed every single program about this place while I went there. I loved all my teachers and wished I could stay there.. But I did have a friend that went there who had his knees slammed backwards for a restraint and broken by a teacher there. There was nothing that could be done because of the legal paperwork that parents sign. 🤔 I enjoyed my time there tho. Just feel bad for other kids who weren't so lucky.

I'm now 40 and came to this place back in 1999. I hated being there but to be fair didn't have much to complain about. Bt time is been there 6ish months I didn't want to leave. I learn so much being there that I'm still grateful to this day. I earned freedom to walk the grounds unsupervised with permission as well as helping give tours to potential clients. I rode horses often did cattle branding of calves of course and did artificial insemination. I did small engines and wood working along with horticulture which were all a blast. There was a lot that happened in the dorms with the girls but what do you expect when you have so many girls with sick am array of issues. A huge part of getting something from these programs is if you want to. If your ready to get better. The staff members were all fabulous I can't think of anyone who I didn't like. I always felt genuine concern from them. I was even given the privilege to go off campus 1x a week to do gymnastics. I still to this day have small decorated box given to me as a gift upon leaving from a staff member named Marilyn. When you opened it it has a tiny box with a small now that says it was filled with her love. I'm not sure what has happened but, this place turned my life around and who know where it be today without it. So Thank you so so so much. Sorry for the delayed post lol.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. They actually cared about me as a person and helped me even though I didn't have insurance or the funds to pay. I called every other treatment center in the state, and even some in Colorado and Washington, but no one else would help me. I was desperate and close to the end. They were the light that came shining through the wreckage and the reason my sons will grow up with a father. They didn't just help me quit using; they helped me build a foundation of self-love, confidence, and peace that I never had before. They helped me realize my potential. I owe this place everything and I recommend them to anyone in that struggle. Rochelle is an amazing LAC. I know this was all God because her approach was exactly what I needed to save my life. The rest of the staff is so kind and uplifting, Marci is a wonderful, supportive lady and was a big part of my journey too. This place is absolutely life saving! The care the Case Managers and LAC’s take with their clients is TOP-NOTCH! Mandy has worked wonders for me personally so a HUGE shout out to her- just an amazing woman! The staff are literally Angels in disguise. The knowledge and care that the LAC’s share shows the loving people that they truly are; they love us for the people we are, not who we were. I love the ppl working here they are a big prime source of help for me I feel bad for the ones that don't know about this place and are still suffering couse of the lack of info or fear of the building, it's all good stuff from the path program, I was homeless in a shelter at the off the streets, and when I got a contacm t from dinell about joining the path program, at first I was worried I would not get a proved couse my mental state was all not in the right mind, I had 2 case worker there my first one I don't know why but they left, but then Jessica had been a big help many ways helped me with the lease signing and the first meetings with the landlord they keep in constant contact and even when there day was busy if something came up about the apartment Jessica was there, Dinell was always happy to here the good news about everything that happened good and bad and found a away to focus the bad stuff to be a positive thing, they helped me get stuff in my apartment that i was needed, they helped me get the hygiene stuff when i could not afford it even Landry soap was offered tooth past and tooth brush, they do so much for ppl and i really am grateful for everything they helped me with this is just one of the community things that not just homeless ppl can be a part of but the ppl as a whole, i feel they need more workers that are for helping ppl and the, they offered me other services that i all ready had like canceling, medication doctors, even trying to help me get my birth certificate I'll be really grateful for that to be done, any one who sees this i hope u don't let this blow away couse if u do your really only hurting your self and they are the biggest help i could find since my life was turned upside down I could keep going on this but i wont, I'll just say this I would always say only God could help and there was no help or here on this earth that was befor I met the ladies in path. I'm absolutely shocked to see that this hospital only has 2.3 stars. It has the best ER staff I've dealt with in years, both as a patient and as a mother. My 19yo, who was the patient tonight, agrees. They were compassionate, did a full workup, and explained things thoroughly. The nurse also put an IV in more competently than the last few places either of us has been. Regarding the PA, my daughter says, "He was very thorough, explaining everything well so I understood what they tested for. He was very good at communicating. He was very kind and I felt comfortable the whole experience. I didn't feel like they were dismissive. He sat there and explained everything to me. They didn't just shove me out the door."

Unfortunately, if you are going here it's not by choice....I am her to speak on the aftermath of this program. I have a life today that has far exceeded my goals in early recovery. This program and some very amazing people within it, helped me grow and change in ways I am so grateful for. This was the wake up call I very desperately needed. When I was sentenced to elkhorn people told me you will not be the same person after that program "it changes you" (they didn't mean that in a good way) little did I know they were right!! I am a different person then when I went into this program. I have an amazing life; I have my kids back, I am buying a home, I have a college degree, a career, 5 years sober, and a life I've built that I am not willing to lose!! At Elkhorn I made the decision to take charge of my life, I decided to stop surviving and start living!! If you are reading this you probably have a family member here or maybe a stay here is possibly in the cards for you. If you lean into this program and take everything you can out of it, look at it as an opportunity instead of a consequence, you too can have the life you dream about (only far better).

The best thing that could have ever happen to me was being sent to elkhorn. I learned to much from them. Because I went in with an open mind and wanting to change and be sober and healthy …it worked . I have had my struggles since I have been out but there was not one time that I ever gave thought to go using . Now that I have been out I see why things were done the way they are done at ETC. and with anything in life if you want something bad enough you can have it . If you want to be sober you will take the tools with you and use them . My life is so amazing now and yes it all cause I went to ETC with an open mind and a mindset of wanting to change and live a better life then I ever thought I could . Went here 2 times one for acute and residential in 2021. Well I would say it helped me in some ways. I would also say it really just depends. My experience with the staff was amazing and I felt like the ones I had on my unit truly cared about us kids. All the staff I have met have been truly supportive and kind. My only problem is that when I was there they would dose me up on all these different kinds of medications and when I would advocate for myself and tell the psychologist I didn’t want to be on all these high dosed medications because they make me sick, they would always ignore me or just dose me up more. I did have an incident where an other kid on the unit was being weird and inappropriate towards me. I told the nurses repeatedly and they never even did anything to correct this behavior or even make him stay away from me. Other than those 2 things my experience was overall good. Definitely learned what I needed to and so much more from my experiences here!!

My daughter was 20 and started going down a real bad path. We hired Reflections Intervention Team in AZ to get her to MT. She was in a one year program and left a little early due to health reasons. I’m eternally grateful to the Hope Center in Helena. My daughter came back sober, and she is like a new person! Hope was able to do what we as a family could not accomplish here at home, even though we really tried ! The change in her is absolutely amazing 🙌 . I visited her twice and it was a great experience. I joined in for dinners which included a nice balance of carbs, proteins, salads. Their Airbnb for families is beautiful. Don’t let the “no licensed counselors “ reviews scare you because the counselors that are there are amazing women who want to serve and help these women. The only thing I would change is to give the girls an hour more of sleep .

The Adult Teen Challenge of Billings brings dead men to life! Over the last 4 years I have watched my son walk in the doors as a broken, lost man to a husband, a full- time employee, a man that is respected in the community. His daughter gets to have her dad apart of her life, he gets to teach her about God. As a student there can definitely be struggles during the year long program however the men who have been placed as employees- understand because they have been there. I will forever support the teen challenge. God is Good and He will come after the broken, this place is proof! Might not be for everyone, that I understand but for myself- it saved my son, me and the rest of our family!

I cannot say enough good or positive things about this group. We have utilized their services for a variety of yard cleanup projects several times now and they are always timely and do a great job - not to mention they have a great attitude and are always very personable. These guys are all part of a spiritual program investing in peoples lives and if you have the opportunity to reach out and support them, or if you have projects you'd like their services with, don't hesitate to do so.

My mom needed help with her estate sale and the guys were super helpful and had such a great attitude! We had lots of heavy furniture and plenty of stairs - we couldn’t have done this by ourselves!! My father in law is moving to town and the guys showed up and helped move him in quick and painless!! The move has been stressful for him and the guys positive attitude made things go smooth!! Thanks for all the help!!
