My son had a dental emergency (chipped tooth) at 445 of course! I called and was able to get him in for evaluation same day- front staff is friendly, and the facility is always clean and welcoming.
Raelynn is a fabulous hygienist- gentle but thorough and always educational.
He also sees Dr Althouse, who is always gracious and kind and educational. Nursing staff is wonderful at lab draws and immunizations!

I was there Oct 2025. What a great experience. All the people that work there are in recovery and they truly care about the residents. You're not just a paycheck for them. The food is excellent. Loved the Equine program. Family counselor is awesome and family week was so healing. They offer Wellbriety. The outreach coordinator is great, he's already followed up with me several times. Excellent nursing care. I cant express my gratitude enough for the program and my sobriety.

These guys have never let me down. Always on point and delivering. I've had to get care other places in town and have gotten very frustrated with their performance. Reminds me how good I have it at the VA and under Dr. Gleason care/team. It's a one stop shop that doesn't disappoint. If they don't have the answer they'll get it promptly.

My experience has been great. My team is accommodating and responsive to my messages and answers all my questions/issues promptly. My primary doctor and my nurse have been absolutely wonderful. I wish my husband had my team. My husband’s VA team is the issue. He injured his knee in May, bad enough to where we are preparing for surgery. He keeps asking for an MRI, they give him an x-ray and tell him to do physical therapy and if it doesn’t get better to come back. It’s not going to get better, this is not an injury you can walk off. Physical therapy is saying he needs an MRI, he most likely tore something. He has been complaining for months and he is exasperating the injury even further. Unfortunately he had an incident last week where he landed wrong on his leg and now he is immobile and in significant pain. Spent Thursday being bounced around between four different clinics downtown, being told to go different places (one of them the VA told him to go to was Alluvion and then they said they didn’t take VA insurance), all of them saying you need an MRI but we can’t do it here, unfortunately the clinic he was supposed to go to was closed by the time he was told to go to the right clinic. Friday was spent waiting all day for the Malmstrom clinic to call him with a referral bc he was done with the VA and we opted to use our Tricare but even that didn’t get him far bc the base didn’t call him until after 1630 on a Friday so he couldn’t go in until Monday to get the MRI he’s been requesting and clearly needs. If the VA would’ve just listened to him and ordered the MRI months ago none of this would be happening now, his knee wouldn’t have been further injured. His team needs to reevaluate how they treat their veteran patients bc this is far from the level of care he deserves.

It was like walking into a different place. They understand they were nice, polite. They went out of the way to make sure they could help you in any way they could and the ones they have there. They are helping in every way they can. It's clean. It's it's got God's help. God has got his armor around that place and the people that work there and the people that go there they care about all them to go there and each other. It's like one big happy family a happy and understanding and hard times and good times. It's all of that and they're there for each other and everywhere I have seen other than this place. It's not like that. It's like you're a number. Okay, it's time for this. It's time for yourself. You know it is just it's very different and I'm going to do everything I can to make sure they get support. They get donations and help whatever they need because they're actually getting people help whether they're on the street or where they come there and they have a hump and that's that's important. It doesn't matter what lifestyle you come from. They're there to help these people and the ones I talk to the owner, the counselors, the other people, all of them. They have certain things that they have to do and it's like a well-ois machine. It's just you know I can't stand up about them and when I go to Washington I'm going to see what I can do there because they really need help and every state needs to have one. They need to have a facility like that because these people actually care. And like I said it's a family and I couldn't ask for anything better for my child. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I really couldn't have and I appreciate them and I pray for them every day and I hope whoever reads this y'all will too. You can call and you can call him. You can look at the place and it is what it says it is and the people they remind you of the people when the area the era that I lived in. They're respectful. They're respectful to you themselves. The coworkers, the families. It's just amazing. It is just really amazing. Thank you all for it

This was the best treatment center I have ever been to. The staff are so nice. The nurses are working so hard. The support staff are the best. My LAC Susan was especially the best I loved her. Alot of the staff are recovering attics and they are so understanding and they are doing great things. They have a lot of fun sober activities and go here if you are struggling!!!

I enjoyed every single program about this place while I went there. I loved all my teachers and wished I could stay there.. But I did have a friend that went there who had his knees slammed backwards for a restraint and broken by a teacher there. There was nothing that could be done because of the legal paperwork that parents sign. 🤔 I enjoyed my time there tho. Just feel bad for other kids who weren't so lucky.

I'm now 40 and came to this place back in 1999. I hated being there but to be fair didn't have much to complain about. Bt time is been there 6ish months I didn't want to leave. I learn so much being there that I'm still grateful to this day. I earned freedom to walk the grounds unsupervised with permission as well as helping give tours to potential clients. I rode horses often did cattle branding of calves of course and did artificial insemination. I did small engines and wood working along with horticulture which were all a blast. There was a lot that happened in the dorms with the girls but what do you expect when you have so many girls with sick am array of issues. A huge part of getting something from these programs is if you want to. If your ready to get better. The staff members were all fabulous I can't think of anyone who I didn't like. I always felt genuine concern from them. I was even given the privilege to go off campus 1x a week to do gymnastics. I still to this day have small decorated box given to me as a gift upon leaving from a staff member named Marilyn. When you opened it it has a tiny box with a small now that says it was filled with her love. I'm not sure what has happened but, this place turned my life around and who know where it be today without it. So Thank you so so so much. Sorry for the delayed post lol.

I am not sure if I am allowed to share Doctor's name but last night 8/20 Dr. C in the emergency room was awesome. I was in there something minor but he gave me great care and so did the nurses. I know ER's get a bad rap but I havr always been taken care of and seen in a timely manner.

Dr Bakko I was referred to for administering multiple tests. As part of this he interviewed me and I am very poor at that. He helped keep me focused and many times had to patiently go back to probe deeper to clarify and really understand what I was saying. Because of my emotions, it’s like a freight train driving through his office. He’s gifted.
The tests were administered in a very private, proffessional, clean, and quiet area. He is very organized and proffessional.
He reviewed my answers and again made it very comfortable and open to discuss why I answered the way I did. He asked many different questions to understand my concerns. He was very patient and caring to make sure he understood my answers.
A real medical proffessional!!!!

The Adult Teen Challenge of Billings brings dead men to life! Over the last 4 years I have watched my son walk in the doors as a broken, lost man to a husband, a full- time employee, a man that is respected in the community. His daughter gets to have her dad apart of her life, he gets to teach her about God. As a student there can definitely be struggles during the year long program however the men who have been placed as employees- understand because they have been there. I will forever support the teen challenge. God is Good and He will come after the broken, this place is proof!

My mom needed help with her estate sale and the guys were super helpful and had such a great attitude! We had lots of heavy furniture and plenty of stairs - we couldn’t have done this by ourselves!!
My father in law is moving to town and the guys showed up and helped move him in quick and painless!! The move has been stressful for him and the guys positive attitude made things go smooth!! Thanks for all the help!!

Unfortunately, if you are going here it's not by choice....I am her to speak on the aftermath of this program. I have a life today that has far exceeded my goals in early recovery. This program and some very amazing people within it, helped me grow and change in ways I am so grateful for. This was the wake up call I very desperately needed. When I was sentenced to elkhorn people told me you will not be the same person after that program "it changes you" (they didn't mean that in a good way) little did I know they were right!! I am a different person then when I went into this program. I have an amazing life; I have my kids back, I am buying a home, I have a college degree, a career, 5 years sober, and a life I've built that I am not willing to lose!! The best thing that could have ever happen to me was being sent to elkhorn. I learned to much from them. Because I went in with an open mind and wanting to change and be sober and healthy …it worked . I have had my struggles since I have been out but there was not one time that I ever gave thought to go using . Now that I have been out I see why things were done the way they are done at ETC. and with anything in life if you want something bad enough you can have it . If you want to be sober you will take the tools with you and use them . My life is so amazing now and yes it all cause I went to ETC with an open mind and a mindset of wanting to change and live a better life then I ever thought I could . Thank you etc I am so thankful of all of you !
