I needed rehab after a knee replacement and had a great experience. I appreciate that they listened to me and adjusted therapy activities at each session based on my pain. They helped me meet my goals faster than I ever expected. All of the therapy staff are first class. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for rehab.

My husband went through the independence center over 30 years ago. He did relapse after the first 3 months but he did not attend any aftercare or AA. Within a year he started going to AA and has been sober for almost 35 years. My son has also been through the independence center twice with varied success. He has had relapses but maintained sobriety for the majority of the time. He has used the tools he learned there to get sober again after relapsing without having to reenter treatment. The program will work for you if your honest with yourself and do the work. Good luck and god bless!

Not impressed with this place. Had a love one get an eval done and was told needed inpatient treatment. Now we have been given the run around as to when that is going to be. Told by the head director guy it would be probably three weeks before we get the call a bed has opened up. It has now been over a month. My impression is that this place does not actually care to help. Go somewhere else that will not give you the run around and false information.

I checked myself into touchstone in 2017 I was so nervous but they all welcomed me with open arm's they were all so nice. They other people were younger than me and I was okay with that we all got a long and helped each other. Amy was my counselor and she helped me so much I'm forever greatful for all her help with the death of my father. I'm still in contact with a few of the people and staff members on social media. Pine Lake Behavioral Health is the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been to other clinics in the past and consulted with various psychiatrists, but none compare to the experience here.
Jessica is the most outstanding psychiatrist I've ever had; she truly listens to your concerns and cares deeply about your wellbeing, offering the best care and treatment options available.

I was having about the worst mental health crisis I had ever had. I was transferred here because my hospital didn’t have a bed available for me. They were very caring, knew your name instantly before even meeting you, and did the best they could to reassure you when you needed it. The nurses, techs, doctors, and therapists there were amazing! I have been here for about 10 years now and have seen the staff come and go. I will say that yes there are some things that need to be worked on here. But with that being said my family and I are in the process of moving, and chose to stay in the state near this area because of this clinic and the select few employees here who make this clinic what it is. First Susan the nurse has been a blessing, she is always so nice, compassionate, and helpfull by far one of the best nurses I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I feel that she is under appreciated and should be praised for her hard work and care to her patients. Second Leta, a newer counselor who has listened to my constant jabbering and never makes me feel judged and helps in any way she can to make me feel heard and assists in helping me stay on track. Next Daniel a very pleasent person and usually the first person you see for your treatment needs, he always tries to make you feel welcome and helps with whatever you need. And last the new pharmacist he had big shoes to fill when the last pharmacist left, and has been doing an amazing job since. I would say if your looking for an affordable treatment center with these people who I have mentioned caring for you. You should have a successfull transition into a sober life.

Was treated poorly when rescheduling my appointment. The person was rude and acted like she was put out. This is a place for people with mental health issues, it should be a place of understand and empathy. Not rudeness.

Amazing people! Amazing people at the front desk, amazing nurses, amazing doctors. It’s never another dreaded appointment, it’s a place that I’m actually happy to go to when I have an appointment. I was having about the worst mental health crisis I had ever had. I was transferred here because my hospital didn’t have a bed available for me. They were very caring, knew your name instantly before even meeting you, and did the best they could to reassure you when you needed it. The nurses, techs, doctors, and therapists there were amazing! My granddaughter has gone there many times and they know her well. They understand the issues that she has and they are Very patient and kind to help her through her struggles. The doctor that she normally had there took time to understood her so well and knew very well how to talk to her and help her.

I am currently going through domestic violence and I needed a safe place to go. Lydia House has been nothing but amazing. All of their staff are so kind, loving, understanding, supportive and they treat you well.
My intake process with Ni’Cole is a moment I will never forget, because she welcomed me with open arms, she was gentle with me, she understood my pain that I was going through, she reassured me that I was safe now and even asked if I had ate. They were handing out Easter bags and she went and got me one so I didn’t feel excluded. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank Lydia House for hiring such a wonderful caring person like Ni’Cole who handle everything with grace even when she is busy. She reminds of a case manager I worked with when I was in Foster Care. Ni’Cole I pray that God will lead you to the path that you deserve which is to become a Case Manager. You treat everyone the same and I love when you say, “Welcome to the Lydia House.” Thank you for everything that you have done for me so far and for never showing any signs of stress even when you are busy. You are appreciated and loved. :)
