I only gave a few stars because Athena is the best ! She actually cares and listens to you and definitely makes you feel comfortable while talking to her. As for the rest of team I could just give zero stars if I could They really don’t care and listen to you. you could tell them your dying and the only thing you will be asked is did you take your meds.. the psych team is a joke there they told me I couldn’t see my psychiatrist without the nurse practitioner approval I have never in my life heard I had to be approved to talk to my psychiatrist or make an appointment with one ! I feel forced to take meds that definitely are not working and also making me sick every single morning and told to just take Zofran to stop the nausea with it I do not want to take another medication on top of another medication because my body is rejecting it do that not tell you that medication is not meant for my body ! I do not even write reviews and I’m being so kind by leaving names out because the care team is a joke besides the one I mentioned above I am currently going else where for psych services I will not trust a place like rediscover med team to prescribe me anything again you are suppose to listen to your patients and actually care so you can truly know what it is they need it really is that simple !🤷🏾♀️

This organization does wonderful things in peoples lives!! They help the homeless, addicts, alcoholics, and downtrodden recharge their lives. They support, counsel, evangelize and assist in re-establishing into the community. Many great testimonies of lives renewed by the residents who have been here.
I brought them a load of food products to help with the daily meals.

I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

I met some of the most caring, respectful, and loving people during my time there. There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how I feel for them. The people change/save lives and do it past normal work hrs on a regular basis (and not much $ LOL) for people like me that the world had given up on. I never noticed before because of the environments i was in but my morals and values were skewed, my thoughts extremely criminal and distorted, and i had done nothing with with my life but NOVA gave me the fresh choice to be somebody different by opening my eyes to my NEW OPTIONS, VALUES AND ACHIEVEMENTS!!!

I’ve been a patient here since 2016. My life is completely different and will continue to be thanks to the offering of medication assisted sobriety. The number one priority is you communicate with your counselor and the Doctor. Once you reach the dose your body needs the real changes begin. No more will you have to just get through the day because you’re sick or spend your entire paycheck to try and get enough to get through another week. The staff is made up of angels. Honest review here, and I just want to give brief explanations of the waiting time is very long. This hospital seems to be short staffed way too often, visiting my Aunt who was having surgery. I mean sometimes staff can be fed up, but they still do their jobs which is good. Only think stopping me from rating 3 stars is because of how nice one staff in the kitchen is, and don’t get my wrong all of them are kind. This lady I’m not sure, but her name is gada don’t know if I missed spelled it. She is very nice I mean she does great! Her good energy made the visit a bit better knowing the food was always better then I expected, and the lady made it on the grill right in front of me, I don’t want to sound like I’m giving this person glory. I really don’t know her but she deserves the praise because of her kindness and delicious cooking.

It was very difficult to walk through the doors to get the help I needed. At that time I was in denial that even had a problem. One of the best things that I did out of the gate was going around and meeting as many people as possible. I went to all the meetings that I could, and quickly learned of the disease that I was dealing with. I sat back and listened to everyone’s story and soon started to see why I was there. It took a couple of days for everything to sink in, and I started to digest all the information that I could. Every staff member was 100% behind me in the recovery process and offered all kinds of encouragement. I felt comfortable being there and was able to open up to staff and other addicts in recovery without being judged. I learned how to identify what triggers make me susceptible to my addiction. They provided me the tools necessary to fight off urges and remove myself from uncomfortable situations. I owe my life to Valley Hope in Moundridge. I was on the verge of losing everything and had no idea. My time there has made me a better husband, father, son, sibling and friend. I definitely look at people in a different view and do not judge as I have no idea what life they have been dealt with. I came away with a new mindset on life and met a lot of great people. From the staff and patients, I am now living a great sober life. Anyone that is struggling or know of someone struggling, VH Moundridge is the place to be. I went in broken, and came out with the chance of a better life and a newfound family. This family is always willing to take a phone call when in need. We all have to work together if we want a better life. Again, the staff is top notch, and all they want is for you to be successful. Don’t wait another day. This journey started off with a lot of unknowns, now it is my turn to hold myself accountable and live a sober life. There are many alumni functions to keep you in touch with the people that you have met, along with a sober environment. Seeing their progress keeps me determined that I can stay sober and maybe help someone else in need. I do love my new life and new way of living. I highly recommend taking this journey, it might just save your life like it did for me. Also want to mention that the food is really good!

In June of this year I had never been more broken and hopeless. I had no desire to live anymore. God gave me the power and willingness to give Valley Hope in Moundridge a chance. It was the greatest decision ive made. They were there for me and walked through all of my trauma with me. The staff was top notch. Through being there for me through my detox and then being there to walk me through my life they were my angels. The counseling is what really made my experience there unforgettable. Today I am sitting at 99 days sobriety and I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for the help of VH and Ofcourse God. They showed me the love I had searched for all my life. I will forever be grateful to them.
