Best treatment facility in Lincoln, I've been there 2x and I have very close friends & family that have been in recovery since they completed treatment there. I wish they took medicare or medicaid though...

My husband went through the independence center over 30 years ago. He did relapse after the first 3 months but he did not attend any aftercare or AA. Within a year he started going to AA and has been sober for almost 35 years. My son has also been through the independence center twice with varied success. He has had relapses but maintained sobriety for the majority of the time. He has used the tools he learned there to get sober again after relapsing without having to reenter treatment. The program will work for you if your honest with yourself and do the work. Good luck and god bless!

I've been to The Bridge on more than one occasion, graduating once as well. Game-changer. They truly care about your plan going forward after as well. In comparison to other treatment centers I've been to, I was most impressed with The Bridge. Anyone truly looking to change one's life for the better, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. Great people, amazing program.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is massively underfunded. If you know a politician or someone with influence, please tell them to do more for this place. Not the staff's fault at all. They cooked our food, they cleaned at night. All I had to do was exist and fix myself. Trish admitted me and assured me that this was the right thing to do. She was the first person I met and she was perfect for the job. She was so hard working that day, putting out fires all over and never even came close to losing her temper. Next the nurse pulled me in. I can't remember her name and I feel terrible for that. But this woman didn't have to listen to my sob story. She listened for almost 40 minutes. I was really going through it, and I just needed someone to listen. She assured me I seemed like a good person and that was all I ever needed to hear. Thank you. Then my counselor, Syra. This woman was born to do this job. What an amazing soul. She cut right through and knew exactly what I needed. Coping skills, trigger spotting, help with trauma. She's the best. If she was doing freelance, I would go straight to her. I think the Bridge has her though. Thank you guys. I will tell everyone. You guys are the best. I will make you proud that you do your job.

I went to the Bridge in January, lost, suicidal and got admitted to respite. I then went to treatment there. Where I was able to deal with past trauma, mental health and drug addiction. With the help of staff and other clients I was able to turn things around. Great program I recommend to anyone who wants the help. They saved my life.

this place changed my life in a big way i haven't had a drink going on 6 years now this place was a life save in and a life changer everyone was really welcoming and really caring my 45 days stay was the best it really works if you talk everything serious and work the steps all the staff were great

The staff is very knowledgeable, they are just absolutely amazing. They care they want to see you succeed. My experience at s o s was Awesome and I highly recommend it for anybody struggling with addiction.

Sos helped me tremendously,they helped me with my daughter passing away and really helped me take responsibility for the decisions I had made in life and I am so very happy that I attended sos.I have been sober since July 26-2001 and reaching out to sos was the best choice I ever made

This place saved my life. It taught me how to live, showed me my strengths and showed me what it was like to have true friendships with women. I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I wouldn't be who I am today without it. 🥰

I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. Love you all I wouldn't change a thing I've learned from you women thank you for being you. And the on behalf of my daughter who recently passed away she loved you guys and always talked about you

I had tried to get sober before and had just got out of prison. I promised myself I was going to stay clean and live a good life. Within 6 months of leaving prison the thoughts of using were strong. I started drinking and looking for ways to get drugs. I knew I needed help or I was going to go down the same path I promised never to go down again. When I called the Bridge there was not any beds available at the time, I told them my situation and told them I really needed to get help or I am not sure I would be brave enough to make this phone call again. They allowed me to sleep in a counseling room temporarily until a bed opened. It is not easy living with a bunch of women and being told what to do, but if you are looking for people who really care and what you to succeed then the Bridge is an excelent choice. For any body who gives the Bridge a bad review.....I am not sure what you did, but you were probably in the wrong trying to get away with something you shouldn't have been.

I enjoyed my experience at ACT, Gita was a very understanding person. The group counseling helped a lot and being able to listen to other peoples story's. It helps you see you are not the only one that thinks a certain way. Also other people have ideas that may help you.
