I would like to thank Darcy and Emily with the oncology department for their care and treatment of my mother, Josephine Wilson, during her battle with breast cancer. They both were so gentle and caring when they hooked mom's treatments up and made sure she was comfortable and warm. I have never met such sweet nurses in my life. I hope that they can be recognized for their excellent work in nursing care.

This whole building is disgusting, it's dirty. Floors always have something on them, walls have stuff splattered on them, wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpet is stained. Clients do the "cleaning" while staff and housekeepers do the bare minimum. Over heard a staff member calling a client a "dumb ass" with no consequences. Programming is very hit or miss, counselors are not very well trained and several times brought their own personal issues to work with them. There is no program director so everyone is just trying to keep their heads above the water with no real direction. The program director cares more about money and saving "resources" then he does about actually helping and healing people. It's quite sad, to see individuals looking and wanting help and then to be handed the bare minimum of resources. Honestly I can't believe this place is still up and running considering the fact that they have very few staff members who actually care, and that the whole CHI business has let the building go. I would never send someone I dislike here let alone someone I love.

Do not recommend, lack of empathy, they won’t take you if you are an Spanish speaking person even though you told the scheduling lady that you have an interpreter, they won’t help you, they only help if you speak “English”.Were is the humanity of this place?????

I just don't understand all of the negativity spewed at this clinic. Whether those apposed were drug seeking or doctor shopping. Let me tell you. Dr Sung spent an hour and a half with me. He said my case was complicated. Which it is. I was treated with complete professionalism and respect. I was heard and treated kindly by all of the staff team. I would recommend Richard Young out patient clinic to anyone who needed help. I was not over medicated. In fact I was taken off of things I should have never been prescribed in the first place.

I just did my 28 day treatment and I loved every minute I was there. The counselors (especially Tony, Beth, Kendra and Krista) are wonderful, the techs, the nursing staff, everyone was so kind and helpful. It is the greatest place I never want to go to again!!

I have not been through drug rehab nor do I think that I need it? I do think that this facility is helpful I feel like the psychologists are down to earth and understanding, especially the 20+ year psychologists. They are so good that they don't have to take notes; while you are in a session. Makes it feel like you're just talking with your girlfriend, very calming.
It was court ordered that I took mandatory counseling when I was a teenager. I feel bad for my counseler, because of my demeanor, being a immature teenager. I worry she felt like our sessions were unproductive and a waste of her time.
The facility and Yankton is a little bit more tucked away it's in between the prison and Broadway street. It's not on a main road. The facility in Vermillion, South Dakota is right on Main Street. In front of the court house you cannot miss it.

I haven't had very good luck with LSS. We were ordered to use a parent coordinator by the judge. The PC gets lost in the e-mails and NEVER makes a decision on the subject at hand.
