I am fully aware that each veteran's situation is unique despite having the commonality of service and sacrifice to infinitely varying degrees. Challenges and struggles may be shared, but the first, second, and third order effects of said challenges and struggles will always be unique to the individual and their circle of family and friends. So, with that said, I am stating that my experience is my own. And my experience at this clinic, as well as with the community care resources outside of the clinic, have been nothing but positive and fruitful. Have there been hiccups and issues that needed communication and action taken to remedy? Of course. But the quality of care that I have received from the team here, the Wilmington team, and the community care team has been exemplary and without criticism. I am grateful to far too many people to list here, but I can say without hesitation that each and every team member here has treated me with respect, empathy, and concern for my well being. Again, I will reiterate that each veteran's situation is unique. I am a Group 1, 100% disabled veteran with 29 years of service in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Soldier. I enjoy the benefits of this priority group. Every veteran's service is beyond a written value, but veterans that fall into other priority groups may have to deal with longer wait times for appointments, have to pay co-pays, etc. This is the nature of the system, unfortunately. But priority levels and the according actions are necessary for this system to work. These good people have historically been underfunded and overworked. They do the best that they can for all of us. As a recommendation for my fellow veterans, I implore you to file claims for your likely worsening service-connected conditions and ailments. Stay the course and hold the line. If you are denied in the process, reapply. Work with a VSO that lights a fire on your behalf. Take advantage of all available resources provided by the VA. Many are free to you, needing only your participation to provide benefit. Stay the course. Regards to my brothers, sisters, and the teams that serve us now. Shelly

RCA Lighthouse is doing incredible things! The staff from the CEO to food services to the Support staff and so on are second to none. Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I have all good things to say about this program. I was not planning on continuing treatment in New Jersey, but the director of the program came and talked to me in detox and explained the benefits and calmed my anxiety about the whole process. He told me about the women's house manager, Val, and he said there is no one else he would recommend to take care of his clients. He said that if he could send everyone to live under Val, he would. I am happy to say that even that was an understatement for Val. Big personality, big passion for recovery and so much love for her girls. From the day I stepped onto Val's doorstep, I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared for. From the beginning she displayed confidence in me and a real desire for me to be there. Val is the reason that house is a home, and for a woman like me, who literally lost everything this year, that made a world of difference. The unity and sisterhood I experienced at sobriety solutions sober living reminded me that connection is the antidote to addiction. Thank you Val, and Mike, and all of sobriety solutions staff! You carried me through a very difficult time, away from my family and in a delicate emotional state. You continue to text and check on me, celebrating my wins and helping me through triggers and tough moments. I went to this detox and rehab several times and they always accepted me back and let me keep trying to get myself clean a year and a half ago I went to their pemberton campus which is not the best of places but I made due and I’ve been clean a little over 18 months now so I don’t think it’s ever the rehab because I’ve been literally everywhere just has to do with if the persons willing to put in the work to make the best of the place they can get in get as much out of it and not go back out and use so you don’t ever have to be in an uncomfortable place like detox and rehab rehab and detox isn’t supposed to be comfortable and with how a lot of these places are they make it so comfortable people want to keep coming back but this place not only was my counselor great but the techs were great and went above and beyond to make sure that I was fed if I was too sick to get up and go to any meal and made sure I was up for my smoke break I owe Merryville my life because I’d probably be dead if they didn’t get me extensions and set me up for my mat treatment for when I left. Thank you Merryville for helping me get back to where I needed to be I owe you guys big time

I would like to thank the entire staff at the Williamstown location for being there! This experience was very hard for me and even harder to stay and complete. However, I did complete, Thankfully! The CITs, nurses, counselors, administrators, and in the kitchen (good food) were there each and every time I needed to talk to someone. Helping me find peace within that moment. Thank you all!

This place was and still is a blessing for me. This was my first time in a place like this and it was a very positive experience. I can not say enough positive things about the cit's and Maryville in a whole. I was treated with respect from everyone there. I feel as though they go above and beyond for there clients. They give you all the tools you need to be successful apone leaving and I'm very thankful for that. It is how anything is in life you will only get out of it what you put in to it and that being said I got more than words can say out of it, but that is because I chose to make it that way. I want to thank Maryville and all the cit's / counslers there you guys have saved my life and I will forever be thankful to you all. Big shout out to a few people who deserve honorable mentions as they went above and beyond for me and everyone around them. First is Derek and Tay they work over night and we're always a ray of sunshine when they came in. Mr E is the most down to earth man and super understanding. He is very protective of his clients and it shows in his all around character. Also the cit June bug ( Jesus) he has a great grasp on recovery he helped me in more ways then I can say. Last but far from least is the A team of nurses barb and Julie these two nurses gave me all the respect a man can ask for. Always there to awnser my questions and go over my meds or really anything I ever asked. They definitely are the A team of nurses there.. My sobriety journey started at Boca. The staff members including Miss Tracey, Hannah and Kevin their alumni coordinator have completely flipped the trajectory of my life. I was immediately taken in with open caring arms and they made my detox process as comfortable as possible. During my stay, Joe was extremely helpful in helping me slowly gain my appetite back and start to feel stronger and was so attentive to my nutritional health. Nurse Patrick was so kind to me during my intake and Kevin still reaches out to me very often to check in and is so helpful in my recovery process. I’ve been coming here since 2014. The nursing staff and counselors have improved so much over the years. The front desk receptionist Heather is warm and welcoming. The nursing staff is quick, professional & thorough. My counselor Jamie is the best I’ve had in all of my years of recovery up to this point. She always points out the positives in any situation and has a soft & loving way of talking through anything negative. Aside from her loving & professional style of counsel, she has degrees and certificates that make her more than qualified for the job. Out of all the facilities in the area that assist with medicated outpatient addiction treatment, AMS is the cleanest, most qualified and most professional.

I love this clinic, my counselor is awesome (Brian) so is the new director, she's cool as a fan and the dosing nurses are awesome Hattie and Corey, Corey's is new but she picked the dosing aspect up literally her first day now she's as quick and polite and beautiful as ever. I love Maryville! This is where I got clean from heroin. I was a user for 20 sum years and never thought I would be able to make it a day without it. All you need to want to do is try, go even if it's just for detox. You could always stay longer, just like I did. The counselors there are cool as hell. The nurses are great and they never let you feel uncomfortable. The food there is great as well. I highly recommend you going there. I'm 9months 7 days clean and I love it. All thanks to Maryville.

Thank you Bianca!l Bianca at Maryville Turnersville.. There is so many positive things to say about her as a counselor.. Caring and thoughtful is what first comes to mind. Very thoughtful and caring. Bianca engaged clients to open up and say what’s on their minds, even if they sometimes don’t open up, she seemed to be able to make everyone feel comfortable enough to open up and express how they’re feeling.
