I loved the program! Yes, at times the info received in the open meetings was repetitive and (honestly, sometimes very boring) yet, I feel it was for the sake of those who didn't get it. And honestly when you don't do self-checks or you are a person beyond the struggle mentioned in the group discussion, it feels repetitive and boring. I found that at times conviction and avoidance of self checks were the culprits of my feelings toward the class. The counselors do have to put a lot of preparation and enthusiasm into to their discussions. That is why I always enjoyed the different topic, small group sessions that are offered. The sessions hold people's different interests and personal struggles accountable in order to work with the the patient to help overcome their addictions and other needs. I found if your put your heart into the program it help not only temporary but for long times to come. My experiences there where fun, memorable and I loved the staff !!

My grandson has only been here a few months I see a big difference in him, everyone we talk to there are very caring, I love his van driver Monica she is the sweetest and very caring, thank you all for your help

I literally love this place! I have received so much support from different counselors there. They really do care about us and what's going on. They work their hardest to make sure we feel safe enough to open up and really do some work. My name is Jessica and I will say Anthony(a counselor there) truly got through to me. I didn't finish the program but I will be celebrating 4 years clean soon thanks to the one thing he said to me 'when is enough, enough'

I’m glad I decided to come here years ago it saved my life!! And after many regime changes, Kevin the director has this. Place running the best it ever has!! And I have the greatest counselor there is Blanca!!!!!

They are going to help if you want help if not then you get what you put in. You can lie to all clinics to get what you want these people just don't pretend you're not going to get raised they do what they're allowed to if you lied only use them you're going to get away with it if you want help or honest with them you can get help up to you they're all like that

Updated 2024 - Still grateful for ARS. The nursing & front window staff is incredible. 🖤 THEY are who holds this place together & keeps it running smoothly. But since my original review, owners have taken on even MORE patients. I have gotten to a place where I only go 2 xs a month. So doesn't affect me as much as it will newer patients. But still wanted to make a note of it. I have to start out saying ARS is what you make of it. I have been on this program for many years (that is MY journey, maybe not yours) but i have YET to have ANY issues with staff abusing power. A legit 10 + years and not ONCE has anyone abused their power w me. 👉*IF YOU* • Come and do what you are SUPPOSED to. • LEAVE when u are done. • Stop using (u have time to adjust.) • Give clean drug tests. • Dont cause chaos & drama. •Treat everyone how YOU like to be treated. 👉You should NOT have any problems. 👉*But...If you* •Befriend all the slackers w no jobs doing nothing w their lives still. • Chill in parking lot for an hour (or until kicked out by security.). • Make BFFs w other patients that are STILL living dirty. • Find yerself a boyfriend or girlfriend that is still using OR new in recovery also. 👉 Basically if you treat this place A SOCIAL EVENT/ dating app - Yes, you WILL have issues & time there WILL suck. I do agree w/ one of the posters before me...it WAS better in Sommers Point. When we moved locations they took on WAY too many patients. When I started there was a little over 200, now there is 3 TIMES PLUS that. Staff doesnt have the time they need & have WAY too much on their caseloads. Granted, Dr.Roth is a SUPERHERO. He will gonabove and beyond for you if he knows you are doing the right thing. But for a PRIVATE (aka for profit) facility, I DO expect to get what I NEED out of it. At OVER $100 a week per patient + payouts for things we accomplish (i.e. groups, sessions, ect) it would be nice to have the community feel we once had here. It was SUCH a great place when the staff wasnt overloaded. And I mean GREAT. I understand this IS FOR PROFIT clinic but it's started to get that "state funded" feel. 😞 I mean, obvi this IS a BUSINESS, but still. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I have moved many times for work in life so have been to 5 diff clinics. State funded AND private. I picked this place BACAUSE it was privately owned. It's STILL a great place, and i am grateful for it. Don't get me wrong... but if u knew how much better it was run BEFORE the move - you'd understand. Again-Stay away from the slackers & drama queens/kings. Do what you are supposed to do. Give clean drug tests, Go to at least 1 group OR see yr councelor for alternate ways if u have a career/work days. GET A JOB or go to school & make something of yourself. Nothing will change if YOU don't. 💕JUST KEEP ALL THIS IN MIND. IT IS 80% WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT AT ARS XO Jess

Pyramid saved my life. 30 year addict they helped to get my life back and break the chains of active addiction. I am so grateful an thankful for this program. Counselor Christy taught me so much about life, my emotions, addiction an the whys of what I do. She truly is an angel disguised as Rehab counselor. Without her help I woulda left many times over. I am forever in debt to her and this program. Most of the staff truly care about my recovery. Christy showed me what a safe place is an gave me hope when I was hopeless. THANK YOU !!!!

Hands down, pyramid and staff saved my life. From the minute I stepped into the building until my discharge there was nothing but compassion from all staff. Two staff members in particular need to be acknowledged for their excellent service to recovery. Short term counselor Lena met me exactly where I was at. She walked me through the process. There were definitely times I wanted to leave, because my disease was telling me to go use, but her voice came through sharing her experience, strength, and hope. I truly believe I am alive today because she was there in my darkest moments. When the initial storm started clearing and I made it to the long term unit I was met yet again by pure compassion. Christy took over where Lena left off. She was bombarded with her case load but still took the time to constantly make sure each and every client was aware that we could beat our addiction. Words can not describe the lengths both of these counselors were willing to go. Even the techs were wonderful. Kayla was willing to go above and beyond to assure all of the clients that we could make it if we were willing to put in the work. Today I am doing the work. In my mind I would not be here today if not for these beautiful people. I am 4 months sober today and one thing that all 3 of these ladies told me was in order to keep this gift of recovery I would need to get a network, make meetings, and get a sponsor. Today I am doing those exact things and it is working. Recovery is an on going process. But the fact is it had to start somewhere. For me it started when I walked through the doors of Pyramid and was fortunate enough to meet compassionate people willing to help. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. Today I choose to live. One day at a time I can do this.

I've stayed in this house for 6 months! I really enjoyed it every day! Life was so much better after leaving there I've learned structure and that's what I craved for! I went there in 2020 spent Christmas and new years there and it was an amazing experience! I would go again just to get away from life I've been clean for 5 years now!
