The compassion, patience, kindness, and genuine love you showed my mom was truly top notch. It was so evident that the staff genuinely cares about their patients. Today was Blood Work and EKG. Charles and the parking crew were all set up for my arrival at 6:50 AM. A Treat. Alyson and Sandy were waiting, after I passed through Security which was fully staffed. Checking in was smooth and efficient. Documents reviewed, processed and on your way. The Quest staff were pleasant and prompt with blood work. Off to Cardiology, Peggy registered me while Nancy was waiting and processed my test within a minute. Charles returned my car and I was on my way. A great morning with the Riverview staff.

Everyone I met from receptionists to imaging technologists, registered nurses and radiologist are excellent representatives of the Center. My son did the PHP followed by the IOP program. The change in him is night and day, my family couldn’t be happier. His clinician Tim C. was incredible. He was in consistent contact with me on our concerns, listened not only to my son but me as a mom and my other son as a brother and took all of our concerns and feedback into his sessions with my son. He helped my son work through not only the issues he was having but gave him the coping skills to tackle hard things going forward. We will miss him and the staff greatly. I wish high focus offered outpatient services to continue after the intensives end.

My name is Jason Yingst. I have been alcohol free since March 19, 2025 the day after I went into Discovery Institute. I would like to thank the staff for their help and support on this journey with me. I was an active alcoholic for 35 years. I am now an alcoholic that chooses not to drink. I am truly blessed. I don’t go to meetings (sorry). I work out at the YMCA 5 to 6 days a week. My lil sister Jen passed away from stage 4 lung cancer and alcoholism on July 4th, she was 51. I recently completed treatment at Discovery Institute and wanted to share my experience. The nursing staff was excellent, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. Group therapy was one of the highlights. The mix of peers was diverse, and the counselors leading sessions were insightful and patient. My primary counselor, George, went above and beyond helping me navigate communication with both my family and the court system during a difficult time. That support made a real difference. The extracurricular offerings were a real strength of the program. Meditation, yoga, and sound bowl therapy were unexpectedly wonderful additions to treatment, and having access to basketball and the gym helped a lot with staying grounded. I was even allowed to bring a keyboard and guitar and play music with other clients, which meant a lot to me. Food was simple but perfectly palatable given the circumstances. Overall, this is a place that treats people with dignity and gives real tools for recovery. Grateful for the care I received here.

I was just there 8/2 - 8/7. All staff, nurses, mha's etc were awesome in helping me with my condition, the only negative things were more communication needs to be done for your loved ones at home that are not sure how you actually are and what your treatment plans are. Also some of the security officers at the front desk are rude and abrasive to family members trying to bring needed supplies as they're not sure what to do or where to go. Lastly when things are brought in to security it shouldn't take a full day to get it to you. I know they have to go through and inspect but procedures could be sped up

I have never been hospitalized before for mental health treatment and I hope never to be again, but the kindness and compassion the staff shared with me was so inspiring and humbling. The staff who cared for me in Short Term Care were all phenomenal, but Kelly and Jakob(sp?) stood out in particular. I came in to the facility with a horrible attitude after spending a terrible night at Community, and they turned me around. And the food was good! It sounds nutty to say I’m grateful for my time there, but I truly am.

My experience here has been great, so far! The staff has been friendly and helpful. They provide both in person and telehealth calls. My Dr actually listens and provides feedback, remembers and takes interest in things we've talked about prior, and follows up on them. It feels like he genuinely cares. I truly thank him for that! Before him at stress care, I was disrespected if I talked, had Drs not even look up at me or hear anything from me, just tried pushing medications that only made things alot worse! The social worker has been nothing but great! She is very nice, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I have felt better since starting, and no longer dread having to talk to a doctor. I can only speak to my experience with the staff, my Dr I've been had since starting, and my social worker stress cares provides to help you, even if just for a ride.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about GenPsych and the incredible people who work there. Walking through their doors was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my mental health and recovery. I came in during one of the most difficult periods of my life, and I left with hope, practical tools, and a renewed belief that healing is possible. Every member of the staff treated me with kindness, compassion, dignity, and genuine respect. I never felt like just another patient. I felt heard, understood, and cared for by people who truly love what they do. They created an environment where it was safe to be vulnerable, to face difficult emotions, and to work on becoming a healthier version of myself. I especially want to recognize my therapist, Deidra. She is truly exceptional. Her patience, insight, compassion, and ability to listen without judgment helped me more than I can adequately express. She challenged me when I needed it, encouraged me when I felt discouraged, and celebrated every bit of progress along the way. She has a remarkable gift for helping people see possibilities in themselves that they may not be able to see on their own. I also want to recognize Magdalena, the physician assistant. Without exaggeration, she is the best psychiatric provider I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She took the time to truly understand me instead of simply treating symptoms. She listened carefully, explained everything thoroughly, and worked with me to find the right treatment plan. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being gave me tremendous confidence throughout my recovery. I always felt that she was invested in my healing, and that made all the difference. What impressed me most about GenPsych is that everyone works together as a team. From the therapists to the medical providers to the support staff, you can feel that they genuinely want every patient to succeed. Recovery isn’t easy, but having people like this walking beside you makes the journey far less overwhelming. It took a little bit with my insurance provider to find a decent facility to help with my psychological shortcomings, then I was paired with Preferred. Once there, it took a bit to be paired with a therapist who I was really able to relate with. That said, my therapist has been a great Blessing, and really cares. After asking a few well pointed questions, I found out that they have a job placement service as well. The person I've been paired with genuinely cares as well, and is trying her damndest to find me a job where my skillset and knowledge would be best used. I'm very Blessed to be in such good hands.

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My name is Steve and I am an addict. Those are the hardest words I think I've ever said in my life, but with Ocean Medical Services I can say that with confidence and complete acceptance. I have been a drug user for 20 years now and I've tried other methods of recovery which simply didn't work for me. I am in their IOP, something I chose to do on my own volition due to needing to be close to home and from the moment I had my intake, I knew I had found "home". From Thea, Dan, Mike, Brian, Cat, Mary as well as a major shout out to the counselors Brayden, Jyllian and Deb (and I know I'm forgetting people), each and every one of them are so empathetic, caring and compassionate. They want to see me (and all clients) succeed. In just the short time that I've been here, I have learned more about myself besides my disease of addiction that I feel like I'm back in grade school absorbing all this information like a sponge. I've been bringing my dad here for the last three years and everyone couldn't be nicer! Audio dept. is great. Front desk, friendly and answered all our questions. Not sure why some negative reviews were given, but I noticed it many were during Covid. Perhaps they were short on staff.

This is my second year and it was amazing again. The staff is wonderful and respectful. The service morning and evening is amazing. There's always something to do for the kids during family weeks. They serve decent meals that are included. Also have a snack shack which is great, especially if you have kids. I've had a room with a bathroom in the community bathroom is always clean. I've also had a room that was the Jack and Jill that had a bathroom inside, which worked well with my kids and I. Can't wait to go back next year. Room is already booked 🥳🥰

I had a great experience at Maryville. I mean people think that treatment centers are 5 star hotels and don’t remember that this a rehab center where it’s about focusing on urself and becoming a better person as you are reintroduced into life as a functioning member of society. From both Dons, who really were incredible men and I could tell that that truly cared about me. Legal don even made a point to tell my family that I am a good person and asked my gf to take care of me and that showed me that I cared. Counselor Jen cares and truly cared about my well being. She might have been upset I was leaving but still went out of her way to help me with after care. Helped me see my true potential and gave me a lot of good advice and I could feel that she cared about my long term success and again was upset I was leaving but understood why and believed in my after care and it was awesome to have a counselor who cared and than the counselor in training Mike prayed with me and prayed for me. Brought me to tears. Young man Deandre has a bright future in this field. Ozzie and Chris were incredible public speakers and got my emotions going and even the ladies Nicole and the entire crew were incredible to me and wished me the best on my exit. The nurses were great. Heidi and Carolyn were some great nurses and the food was great for rehab food. Ya it’s not perfect but i really believe they helped me and the entire staff wanted me to be better and kick this thing called lives ass. I thank them all. And just remember it’s a rehab where you are there for u. Thank you to all

My experience at Pemberton was a good one! I was there for short term. The staff really do care about helping you to stay clean and sober! I learn so many new things about myself. My counselor ( Mrs Jennifer) , helped me so much when I wanted to give up! Also Mr Chris (CIT) was a great mentor to me! 52 days clean and sober. Also Thanks to Ms Wali, Cassandra, Ashley and Nicole!
