I've been bringing my dad here for the last three years and everyone couldn't be nicer! Audio dept. is great. Front desk, friendly and answered all our questions. Not sure why some negative reviews were given, but I noticed it many were during Covid. Perhaps they were short on staff.

GenPsych helped me tremendously. It was my first time seeking help for my disease and before attending the sessions there I didn’t even recognize that I was addicted. I am now in an ongoing program of recovery and am very thankful for their role in that choice. My counselor, Brielle, was excellent. All the therapists were understanding and insightful. Ande was not only helpful but very supportive and forced me to look at things from a different perspective which was vital to me moving forward. I cannot say enough wonderful things about GenPsych and the incredible people who work there. Walking through their doors was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my mental health and recovery. I came in during one of the most difficult periods of my life, and I left with hope, practical tools, and a renewed belief that healing is possible. Every member of the staff treated me with kindness, compassion, dignity, and genuine respect. I never felt like just another patient. I felt heard, understood, and cared for by people who truly love what they do. They created an environment where it was safe to be vulnerable, to face difficult emotions, and to work on becoming a healthier version of myself. I especially want to recognize my therapist, Deidra. She is truly exceptional. Her patience, insight, compassion, and ability to listen without judgment helped me more than I can adequately express. She challenged me when I needed it, encouraged me when I felt discouraged, and celebrated every bit of progress along the way. She has a remarkable gift for helping people see possibilities in themselves that they may not be able to see on their own. I also want to recognize Magdalena, the physician assistant. Without exaggeration, she is the best psychiatric provider I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She took the time to truly understand me instead of simply treating symptoms. She listened carefully, explained everything thoroughly, and worked with me to find the right treatment plan. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being gave me tremendous confidence throughout my recovery. I always felt that she was invested in my healing, and that made all the difference. What impressed me most about GenPsych is that everyone works together as a team. From the therapists to the medical providers to the support staff, you can feel that they genuinely want every patient to succeed. Recovery isn’t easy, but having people like this walking beside you makes the journey far less overwhelming. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, or other mental health challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend GenPsych. Asking for help is one of the hardest things a person can do, but this is a place where you will be met with compassion instead of judgment and encouragement instead of criticism. It took a little bit with my insurance provider to find a decent facility to help with my psychological shortcomings, then I was paired with Preferred. Once there, it took a bit to be paired with a therapist who I was really able to relate with. That said, my therapist has been a great Blessing, and really cares. After asking a few well pointed questions, I found out that they have a job placement service as well. The person I've been paired with genuinely cares as well, and is trying her damndest to find me a job where my skillset and knowledge would be best used. I'm very Blessed to be in such good hands.

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This place is absolutely wonderful they were very patient and taller than me when I wasn't ready to hear the message and pay attention but now that I found another solution to my addiction and alcoholism this place has been a key factor and contributor to completely changing every aspect of my life without this place and without a mat program and without the staff that works here I would be probably dead but we're definitely lost

I cannot speak highly enough of HBH and their therapists. I’ve been working with my therapist, Bethany, for years now and she has changed my life for the better. She is always actively trying to help me improve my way of thinking by means of action and not just talk therapy. She’s always adaptable to my needs depending on where I’m at during my sessions and allows me the space I need to safely navigate my emotions. I’ve never once felt judged during any of my ups or downs. I’ve worked with many therapists growing up, and finding her was such a blessing and nothing short of a miracle. Not to brag (just kidding I’m totally bragging), but I definitely have the best therapist anyone could ever ask for. I’ve also been in a variety of their groups that are run by other therapists in the practice and each counselor has been engaging and passionate about what they do. Five star care from beginning to end. My PACU RN, Lindsey P, was phenomenal! She explained everything thoroughly and provided excellent care. Also, Lyndsey my pre-op nurse was terrific as well. Thanks to Dr Dean Cindrario for a great anesthesia experience and of course my surgeon Dr Matthew Kaufman who has always provided me with excellent care and always makes me feel comfortable in his capable hands.

My husband had a vascular procedure and he and I were so impressed with the expert care he received from Dr. Litsky and his wonderful team: Sean and Angela. They each were competent and caring. Angela, especially, was uplifting as she took care of his every need in recovery. We were then escorted to our car by Marcus who had such a pleasant manner. We will return for another procedure soon and are confident that he will be in caring hands once again.

Amazing care while we waited to be transferred over to MSKCC main campus. We first went through ER and had the most amazing nurse take care of us, I wish I remembered his name. We then went over to the cancer wing of the hospital, which was beyond beautiful and the nurses there were beyond caring. Cauterization was done on liver in this hospital, procedure went well. Only thing was a doctor told that a stent was not possible for a blockage in the pylorus, which was not true, MSKCC doctor did tell us the opposite though. Either way, best patient care in the world. Thank you Riverview Medical Center nurses and doctors, for everything.

As a physician myself, this was surprisingly my first interaction/experience with Riverview Medical center. Our visit involved primarily dealing with the Same Day Surgery staff and everyone we encountered was top notch from visitor intake at parking to front desk staff in the Same day waiting area. Nurse Jackie was excellent in explaining everything she was about to do before she did which placed my mother at ease. Dr. Haggerty and the Anesthesiologist (apologies in forgetting the gentleman's name) arrived with smiles on their faces and were willing to answer any questions to further ease any anxiety my mother may have had about the day. During the process, I received text messages updating me on the day with my mother's progress. I waited in the coffee shop area and looked out at the river which was relaxing while waiting for the surgery to finish. Post op, my mother's care was managed by Nurse Rose who was just as bright with a smile on her face and very patient in helping my mother recover. She did not rush the discharge and made sure my mother was comfortable in feeling she could go home. Highly recommend the same day surgery team in this hospital!

My name is Steve and I am an addict. Those are the hardest words I think I've ever said in my life, but with Ocean Medical Services I can say that with confidence and complete acceptance. I have been a drug user for 20 years now and I've tried other methods of recovery which simply didn't work for me. I am in their IOP, something I chose to do on my own volition due to needing to be close to home and from the moment I had my intake, I knew I had found "home". From Thea, Dan, Mike, Brian, Cat, Mary as well as a major shout out to the counselors Brayden, Jyllian and Deb (and I know I'm forgetting people), each and every one of them are so empathetic, caring and compassionate. They want to see me (and all clients) succeed. In just the short time that I've been here, I have learned more about myself besides my disease of addiction that I feel like I'm back in grade school absorbing all this information like a sponge. I couldn't brag more about this location so if you're an addict and you're in need of some help, PLEASE call or contact them. You'd me on the ride path of recovery.

I was just there 8/2 - 8/7. All staff, nurses, mha's etc were awesome in helping me with my condition, the only negative things were more communication needs to be done for your loved ones at home that are not sure how you actually are and what your treatment plans are. Also some of the security officers at the front desk are rude and abrasive to family members trying to bring needed supplies as they're not sure what to do or where to go. Lastly when things are brought in to security it shouldn't take a full day to get it to you. I know they have to go through and inspect but procedures could be sped up

I have never been hospitalized before for mental health treatment and I hope never to be again, but the kindness and compassion the staff shared with me was so inspiring and humbling. The staff who cared for me in Short Term Care were all phenomenal, but Kelly and Jakob(sp?) stood out in particular. I came in to the facility with a horrible attitude after spending a terrible night at Community, and they turned me around. And the food was good! It sounds nutty to say I’m grateful for my time there, but I truly am.

My son did the PHP followed by the IOP program. The change in him is night and day, my family couldn’t be happier. His clinician Tim C. was incredible. He was in consistent contact with me on our concerns, listened not only to my son but me as a mom and my other son as a brother and took all of our concerns and feedback into his sessions with my son. He helped my son work through not only the issues he was having but gave him the coping skills to tackle hard things going forward. We will miss him and the staff greatly. I wish high focus offered outpatient services to continue after the intensives end.

Group Facilitators — Earvin, Chris, and Brian The group facilitators contributed significantly to my experience. Earvin, Chris, and Brian each brought their own personalities and approaches to group therapy. Earvin's groups, in particular, were more emotionally challenging and encouraged deeper self-reflection. His groups often brought difficult or important subjects to the surface and encouraged participants to look honestly at themselves and the areas they wanted to work on. Chris brought a somewhat more lighthearted approach to his groups, which I appreciated. After spending a long day discussing difficult and emotional topics, having a group that allowed people to relax while still learning and participating was a welcome balance. Brian also brought his own perspective and approach to group therapy, contributing to the overall variety of the program. Having different facilitators and different styles was beneficial because not every person responds to therapy and group discussions in the same way. I appreciated having opportunities for both deeper emotional work and lighter, more approachable discussions. I want to be fair and transparent about this particular section because I did not personally work with Caitlyn as my clinician. My direct interactions with her were very limited, so I cannot speak to what it is like to have her as a primary clinician based solely on my own experience. Several clients expressed that they felt dismissed, talked down to, or uncomfortable during their interactions with her. Again, these are their experiences rather than something I can personally verify, and I don't want to present their accounts as established facts. However, I think it is worth mentioning because clients in a mental health facility are often in an especially vulnerable position, and the way they are spoken to can have a significant impact on how safe and respected they feel. I believe clinicians should be able to communicate difficult truths, challenge clients, and maintain professional boundaries while still speaking to people with patience, empathy, dignity, and respect. I understand that not every clinician will be the right fit for every client, and a therapist does not have to agree with everything a client says. However, there is a meaningful difference between challenging someone therapeutically and making someone feel dismissed or talked down to. My concern, however, is the communication style I personally observed. My experience here has been great, so far! The staff has been friendly and helpful. They provide both in person and telehealth calls. My Dr actually listens and provides feedback, remembers and takes interest in things we've talked about prior, and follows up on them. It feels like he genuinely cares. I truly thank him for that! Before him at stress care, I was disrespected if I talked, had Drs not even look up at me or hear anything from me, just tried pushing medications that only made things alot worse! The social worker has been nothing but great! She is very nice, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I have felt better since starting, and no longer dread having to talk to a doctor. I can only speak to my experience with the staff, my Dr I've been had since starting, and my social worker stress cares provides to help you, even if just for a ride.

All staff of Jersey Shore University Medical Center MRI unit at Ackerman first floor were excellent and very professional in treating patient liked me who had a prostate MRI procedures early this morning of 24th September 2026. Going into these procedures, I felt quite anxious, but your team's kindness, professionalism, and patience completely changed my experience. From explaining the steps clearly to ensuring I was comfortable throughout the process, their compassion did not go unnoticed.Thank you for turning what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and successful experience. Your dedication to patient care is truly appreciated. Special mention to Ms. Laura at the check-in counter who was very polite and accommodating. To Ms. Debbie who was very helpful in preparing me for the procedure. Her hands were very gentle when she inserted IV in my vein. Not to forget Ms. Tina who did 45 minutes of MRI procedures on me. Dr Keith Wyche: I cannot say enough about Dr. Keith Wyche and the care he provided at CentraState Medical Center when I needed it most. He literally saved my life. After reviewing my EKG and blood work prior to a nuclear stress test Dr. Wyche acted extremely quickly and determined I was having a massive heart attack. What makes his actions even more remarkable is that I was experiencing no pain and didn’t feel anything was wrong. I later learned that my LAD Artery, commonly known as “widow maker” was 99% blocked. While everything was happening so quickly, Dr. Wyche took the time to reassure my daughter that he was going to take care of me. He immediately arranged for Dr. Patel to perform the procedure, and two stents were placed to restore blood flow. Dr. Wyche’s quick thinking, knowledge and decisive actions and compassion made an incredible difference. I will always be grateful to him for recognizing what was happening and acting so quickly. I am also extremely grateful for Dr. Patel for performing this procedure that saved my life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Keith Wyche to anyone looking for a cardiologist. I truly believe I was in the right hands at the right time! Thank you Dr. Wyche, and Dr. Patel, and the entire team at CentraState Medical Center. I will always be grateful for what you did for me.

Not only did my family member got excellent care, the staff were highly proactive in keeping me informed every day, every step of the way. I am beyond grateful that staff from nursing and social work called me, as did the cardiologist. I live far away, yet felt as if I was on-site. What a relief to know the nature and attentiveness of the care being given, without my having to work to get information. They also created a thorough discharge plan to support the patient's continued progress.

The care I received after my surgery by Dr Lowry was outstanding. I would be remiss if I did not mention every professional that had a hand in my care. Dr Lowry, Dr Choudrey( anesthesia), Dr Olivia Campbell, Emile nurse director, Erica night PCT, Melissa eve PCT, Janet day PCT, Nicole BSN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING NURSE , Val BSN Lorena PCT, Maryanne , Care Manager, Jackie BSN, Katie Student nurse, Katianna Social worker, Cheryl , Nurse Leader, Maria housekeeping & Barbara Housekeeping. I apologize for missing anyone. I have never seen such team work in care, including covering each others break & popping in to tell me so & see if i needed anything. The response to my needing help when I pushed the call bell was quick and with a smile & willingness to help. The food was hot & flavored nicely, especially the salmon. I had some nice strolls in the hall ( I was a fall risk) with my husband & PCT Kevin who was so nice & helpful. Even security when we checked in 6:15 9/21 was so helpful, kind & cheerful. Everyone in the OR prep for my surgery & for my post op sigmoidoscopy was efficient & kind. Oh & I should mention, I know excellent care as a retired nurse of 50 years plus.
