Ashley Addiction Treatment is a truly special place doing incredibly important work. What has always stood out to me is the compassion, dignity, and genuine care they bring to helping people and families impacted by addiction.
Recovery is about so much more than treatment. It’s about helping people feel seen, supported, and hopeful about what comes next. Ashley clearly understands that and has built a community around it.
I’m grateful for the work they do and the difference they continue to make in so many lives. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashley to anyone looking for help for themselves or someone they love.

I transitioned into Ashley Outpatient immediately after being discharged from inpatient treatment on January 7, 2025, and the continuity of care made a significant difference in my recovery. I completed my assessment on January 8, 2025, and began the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) the following day. From the start, Ashley Outpatient provided a structured, supportive, and clinically grounded environment that helped me stabilize and build momentum.
The IOP schedule—group therapy three times a week and individual therapy twice per month—was thoughtfully designed and highly effective. The group sessions offered connection, accountability, and shared insight, while the individual sessions allowed me to work through personal challenges with focused therapeutic support. The staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a clear commitment to evidence-based care.
On May 2, 2025, I transitioned into the Outpatient Program (OP), which continued to provide meaningful structure while allowing me to practice greater independence. The OP schedule of twice weekly group therapy and monthly individual sessions has supported my ongoing growth and helped me maintain stability as I navigate daily life. I have attended all required sessions and remain actively engaged in treatment.
I am still currently participating in outpatient services, and the continued support has been essential in strengthening my coping skills, reinforcing healthy routines, and sustaining long term recovery. Ashley Outpatient has been a reliable, effective, and empowering part of my treatment journey. I am grateful for the program’s structure, the dedication of the staff, and the consistent encouragement that has helped me move forward with confidence.

This is honestly the only place that has ever made me feel safe and secure. Val is the best house manager and i had to move to legacy for 30 days before going back to sobriety solutions and i can’t pray everyday enough for the time to just go by so i can go back to this program and house. I love this place more than anything and i couldn’t imagine being happier at a place, i hate that things worked out the way they did for the time being but im really pushing through the hell of this just to get back there & not let people affect me or make me uncomfortable because that’s nothing compared to Val’s treatment & the way they really support you there. I didn’t even expect to be going to a sober house because you rarely find any that truly care but this one so does. i wouldn’t recommend any other but just stay in your own lane & you can’t really do social media there, that was so i misunderstood & i don’t want anyone else to run into that communication process the way i did. Mike the CEO is also very understanding & he has mercy on the clients there. i can barely wait to get back there🙏🏽life saver place

Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I. That case you may need a higher level of care. Because I've never been so excited and felt like I had the help I need in my recovery as I do in sober solutions and working with Haley. The amount of hard work she puts in for us clients and her job is what I strive for in my recovery.

They actually listen to you and know what they're doing, they don't just take notes and do what they were going to do anyway, they actually cater to your specific circumstances, let you give input, take that into account, and adjust your treatment accordingly, I've had so many bad experiences with other clinics, so I'm glad I finally found this place!
Also, the pink haired Lady at the front desk will remember your face and add you into the dosing queue the second you walk through the doors. Dover is the 249th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54136. This is comparable to the average cost of $53690 for addiction treatment in Delaware and lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Dover vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Dover. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Dover that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Dover.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Dover, with 8 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 7 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 5 drug rehabs.
Dover has the 216th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Kent county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Dover or Kent county as a whole.
In 2023, Dover had the 151st highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 468 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Dover. All values are per 100,000 population.
