It's all about following the rules and keeping your cool. All of the negative reviews talking about not caring about anything but money... they are most likely not following the guidelines and rules for the program. If you cuss out the nursing staff because you're I withdrawal, don't expect great service. Do the program as your supposed to -- and you won't have any problems. I've had two counselors over 5 years. Haven't touched an opiate, but rely on this service. I feel safe here. Yes, improvements are needed. More counselors, less stringent cannabis rules like most clinics would improve my experience. Anyway, thumbs up. Saved my life.

Bracebridge was and is a lifesaver for me. Not only is the staff 100% invested and amazing, the campus, the food, and facilities definitely contribute to making the tough time a little more bearable. Special shoutout to Tammy who was my Primary Therapist. She pushed and supported me during my stay and I am eternally grateful for her. Another shoutout to Dan, the alumni coordinator. While the entire staff is amazing when you're on the inside, Dan keeps the alumni engaged and active once you leave campus. While it sucked HAVING to be there, I absolutely loved the experience and in hindsight, I have Bracbridge to thank for giving me the tools to have my life back. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

My time at RCA Bracebridge Hall truly changed my life. I spent 30 days there, and it was one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences I’ve ever had.
The program was incredibly informative and gave me the tools I needed to move forward with confidence. What stood out the most, though, was the level of support. The staff genuinely care, you can feel that they have big hearts and are fully invested in helping each person succeed. They made sure I felt prepared for life after leaving, which made a huge difference for me.
I also met some amazing people during my stay, and those connections meant a lot. The facility itself is beautiful and in a peaceful location, which really helped me focus on my recovery.
One of the most valuable parts of the experience has been the alumni support group. Staying connected after leaving has been so important, and the program they’ve built is truly special. Dan, in particular, has done so much for the alumni community, and I’m incredibly grateful for his dedication and support.
I feel very blessed to have had this experience, and I would highly recommend RCA Bracebridge Hall to anyone seeking help and a fresh start.

I was in today for two appointments and things could not have gone better. I met with Dr. Muchnick - Optometry and Dr. Ambrogi - Dental. Both were consummate professionals, took their time and really handled the entire visits well. It really bolsters my faith in the treatment when I don't feel the MD is rushing to move onto the next patient. Ultimately I got fantastic care and I am sold, I will continue to use them and this site for medical care. I have been using VA Medical in various capacities for over forty years now and I have always had a good experience. They actually listen to you and know what they're doing, they don't just take notes and do what they were going to do anyway, they actually cater to your specific circumstances, let you give input, take that into account, and adjust your treatment accordingly, I've had so many bad experiences with other clinics, so I'm glad I finally found this place!
Also, the pink haired Lady at the front desk will remember your face and add you into the dosing queue the second you walk through the doors. She's super fast and good at her job but lady I wanna say GOOD MORNING to you! like... please. you're super good at your job but let me say good morning and say it back to me. I arrived at the HOG in April 2024. I was broken, desperate, and hopeless. No end in sight. Upon arrival I was welcomed with open arms by the staff. Letting me know there is hope and we can recover. My counselor was absolutely the best. Opening my eyes to the issues at hand and why I turned to alcohol. I was offered the chance to go to the HOG two years before I actually went. Best decision I have ever made. The HOG saved my life, and opened my eyes to a life without alcohol. I will be celebrating 2 years sobriety in a few weeks. Could not possibly be any happier. I don't work a 9-5 office job, I travel all over the country doing seasonal work so it's hard for me to schedule appointments 6 months and keep them when I don't know if I'll still have a job by that time. Well today I was told I'm wasting resources by scheduling appointments and having to cancel weeks to months prior to the appointment so it's not like I cancel day of or don't show up. She asked me for my symptoms and when I started listing them she yelled at me cutting me off then proceeded to give me an attitude saying again how I'm wasting resources and time, when all I'm trying to do is get answers for my problems I'm currently facing. I know it's hard when I keep moving believe me I would love to stay in one place and figure out what's wrong with me but it shouldn't matter what kind of lifestyle I need to live to be mentally and financially stable to want to live life. I went into the military because I knew I couldn't handle an office job and now with my disabilities because of the military I can't do construction or anything of the sort so it leaves me doing seasonal outdoor work.
She made me feel like I'm not worth the time and energy to get cared for and extremely discouraged me from even wanting to get care. It's hard enough that when i was growing up I was always told I had to just deal with my problems, boys don't seek help, be a man, deal with it, toughen up, let alone having the people who are supposed to care for me tell me I'm wasting time and resources.

They are also available to provide guidance and direction to the family giving us the tools needed to encourage him without enabling his addiction. And when they tell you they are available at any time, they mean it. They are always available for any problems or questions or concerns that either one of us has.
We’re both more hopeful and optimistic about the future and a big part of that is thanks to this incredible team. I have never had an issue with anyone and I can be a difficult person. I’m a Gemini ♊️ so my evil twin is always trying to peek out to take over.
My therapist has helped my family and I tremendously! The receptionist - OMG! I haven’t seen her since the pandemic but when I have to physically go into Holcomb this awesome lovely lady always ask me about my son and ask how I’m doing.
I Love Holcomb for more reasons than that. I Love Holcomb because they help me navigate through life when life kicks me down. Holcomb changed my life and my children's live for the better. I feel bad that other people's comments are judgmental. I think that people are so closed minded now & days. So, if you’re a patient at Holcomb then don’t give up! Because I swear I recommend this life changing facility to anyone that needs mental health support.
I wish everyone the best on their journey. GOD Bless You All! 🙏🏾

Im so disappointed of this place when i first called Savida i wasn’t sure if i was ready to trust a place because i was scared then Peter answer my call n by the first call i felt warm welcome n ready from day one they made feel amazing not forget Ms. Shauna Bright An amazing dr she listen understand i could trust her with my process n with her i never felt judge look down Savida made me feel i had a family then peter was no longer there thats where i meet Whitney that was my girl she was so easy to handle my appointments she understood bc Because being a front Receptionist, specially, dealing in this field Is very important how you talk how you communicate how you explain things and how you come about things because they need to understand one thing can lead to a trigger and that’s very dangerous in the long run. Savida was great until Now, none of the people that made me feel welcome as a family that I was safe because I felt safe when I walked in there. They’re no longer there. Shawna‘s not there peter is not there. Seth is not there. Eugen is not there. The front person that works there now latoy is because I will no longer come back to this Clinic. I am so disappointed so disappointed she has made me feel uncomfortable as she has made me feel triggered. I feel like I can’t talk oto her about. Anything n hearing how she tlks about patients n laugh mocks is very is just nonm She’s not compressive. She’s understanding the way I seen the other receptionist is that they made us feel welcome. They understood their assignment. She doesn’t understand her assignment to me. She’s there for paycheck and if you’re not gonna love your job and you’re not gonna make people feel like they got a chance in recovery don’t work in these type of places That Doctor there now crystal yeah she’s Nice, but that’s all I can say about her. She’s nice. I could’ve been 15 minutes late. I could’ve had whatever situation I was going through. I I would never walked out without being seen when we get turned down. Was such a nasty attitude when I tell you nasty nasty attitude I got Miss thing that’s there now in the front need to understand. We can walk right straight back to the streets and we can overdose with one wrong action one word a lot of people here are sensitive. They’re not as strong as other people are strong in the recovery it’s sad because I know I’m not the only one leaving Savida because of her and because of the New way savida running now in Dover, Delaware. I have five of my friends have already.left left Savida. The best team has left and I wish you guys all the best, But if you guys don’t get rid of that main person in the front desk, the one that Whitney train and backstab her and backstabbed everybody just to get that position y’all gonna lose a lot of your good patient Cause she really showed her true colors but I will. no longer come back to Savita

Newark is the 266th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $53461. This is comparable to the average cost of $53690 for addiction treatment in Delaware and lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Newark vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Newark. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Newark that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Newark.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Newark, with 2 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Capital Blue Cross is the 2nd most popular with 1 treatment centers accepting it followed by CareFirst in 3rd accepted by 1 drug rehabs.
Newark has the 182nd highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in New Castle county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Newark or New Castle county as a whole.
In 2023, Newark had the 233rd highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 227 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Newark. All values are per 100,000 population.
