My recovery journey here is not yet complete but I can tell you this places is amazing, the staff are so helpful and supportive. My initial rehab helped me so much, the food is pretty good and the classes are even better. They really help you find your spirituality and connect you with the place. I’m currently in the sober living program here and it really helps, we go to all the alumni meetings and NA meetings in the area. The PHP program is awesome with good staff along side of you. As far as all the aspects of recovery I would highly recommend this place as your start and finish.

BBH is an incredible facility with a proven track record of success. The staff are the backbone of the facility and they do everything in their power to provide the best care for their clients. Everything is geared to ensure the clients are comfortable, have everything they need during their stay, and make sure clients are set up for success on their recovery journey. The facility is so serene and peaceful with very picturesque views, comfortable rooms, inviting common areas with movies, books and games, and incredible food. Your clients will succeed if they do the work while they are at the facility and complete recommended follow-on care plans. I recommend becoming an Alumni because of the family-style community it has established. You matter and BBH makes sure that you know that.

MeadowWood kept my family member from self-harm and saw them through a crisis. I am very grateful. Now further treatment will be initiated. MeadowWood can not "fix" damaged people in a few weeks. I believe negative reviews come from people who have no idea what a mental hospital is or does. Of course it is unpleasant; it is full of people who can not control themselves. Personal items must be taken away; family members would be the first to sue if a patient harmed themself. Most likely the staff takes an incredible amount of abuse; God bless them everyday for showing up, and for caring.

Honestly, no place is going to work until you’re fully ready. With that being said, this place completely changed my life. I’ve been using for over 6 years, been to multiple places & never stuck with it. Until I came here, I was actually ready this time & that made all the difference. I almost have a month clean, & I just wanted to thank everyone here that helped me & believed in me. From Dr. Mike, to Mrs. Gloria the social worker, the techs (can’t remember all their names, but especially Lex) I will say the food is horrible lol but if you’re actually ready it’s a great place & worth giving it a shot. It does suck that it’s technically a mental hospital/psych ward so keep that in mind being there. It’s not an actual rehab or anything you’re just there for detox.

Then instead of wasting time on someone who just doesn’t want the help they turn there attention to the people that do want a better life. Like I said if you want to get clean they will help you with housing, jobs, etc but if you don’t then leave it at that don’t turn around and put a bad review or put down the people who tried to help you but you but you couldn’t even meet them 10% of the way GROW UP

Truthfully I have had Good and bad experience''s it's kind of hard for me to say because my counselors are Amazing absolutely Amazing, But I've had some really bad incidents with nursing staff and not one incident was actually my fault but the fault was still tried to be blamed on me but because they have such a Great Supervisor I think she is Garnisha she looked into those incidents right away for me because I had my counselors that had my back so I was never written up for anything I really appreciate the help I had in those situations getting to the truth .The front staff and security guards are Great they get alot of flack from clients but if you ever sit there for any amount of time you will come to realize there just doing there job and they really do try to do it as friendly as possible for all the grief they get that's definitely not there fault .Bree has caught on so quick and she's a real sweetheart and Miss Anna I Miss Very Much I really WISH SHE COULD COME BACK TO WORK BUT DO TO MEDICAL ISSUES I DON'T THINK SHE WILL BE ABLE TO I HOPE IF SHE EVER SEES THIS SHE KNOWS I MISS HER AND MY GRANDSON FINALLY CAME HOME AFTER ALMOST 2 AND A HALF YEARS IN THE HOSPITAL FROM THE DAY HE WAS BORN EXTREMELY PREMATURE,SHE WOULD ALWAYS ASK ABOUT HIM .I MISS YOU AND PETE HE WAS AN AMAZING COUNSELOR THAT HAD TO LEAVE I WISH I GOT TO SAY GOODBYE TO HIM BEFORE HE DID ...BUT MY LIFE HAS CHANGED IN SO MANY GREAT WAYS REACHING GOALS AND HAVING COUNSELORS THAT ACTUALLY LISTEN TO ME AND I KNOW THEY DO BECAUSE 3 MOTHS LATER THEY ACTUALLY REMEMBERED A CO WORKER OF MINES NAME WHICH I THOUGHT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FINALLY SOMEONE THAT DOESNT JUST TALK TO ME BUT REALLY HEARS ME THAT IS A FIRST IN MY LIFETIME...AND THATS THE TRUTH ..!!!!

My 16 year old daughter was brought in by Bayhealth Sussex EMS to Dover BH Pediatrics floor for a severe virus . The nurses on the Pediatric floor are a group of incredible women. Intelligent , thorough, compassionate, professional , attentive, Amber , Jesse , Mel and Sierra . Thank you so much . I was so blessed to have you help my daughter . They went above and beyond to make sure I understood what was happening and answered all my questions as well as keeping us comfortable for 3 days . Dr McGraw was wonderful throughout this journey . I can’t thank her enough for her treatment plan. We are the road to recovery .

I am grateful to have stumbled upon Project Chesapeake. At first glance I thought they only offered addictions counseling but was happy to find they work with a variety of ages and address mental health concerns as well. I have seen therapists for trauma related issues at several other practices. I finally feel like I’ve found a therapist who is helping me grow and make positive change in my life. My therapist is lovely! She’s helped me work through a lot of trauma as well as helping me navigate daily life stressors. I truly feel supported and heard. She is compassionate and cares for her clients. This is by far the most effective therapy I’ve received out of the 7 therapists I’ve worked with over the past 12 years of on and off trauma work. Highly recommend!

Project Chesapeake is a great IOP/OP treatment option. Not only does the staff genuinely care about you, they offer multiple services under one roof. I opted into this program for longer than required (crazy right?) and will continue to utilize their services regardless of my OP completion. Although I've had a mixed experience between the two different people, Katie definitely needs more experience, Ian ... well ..man what can I even say. I've sure learned a lot and ..hey.... 😉 ..he did get me to express my need even though when I did he ignored me...but... nobody's perfect...especially not me. Im thankful I found them when I did and that they took me on despite my history. I imagine I could be considered quite the liability. Thanks for seeing past that and for everything I've learned.
