RCA Lighthouse is doing incredible things! The staff from the CEO to food services to the Support staff and so on are second to none. I literally love this place! I have received so much support from different counselors there. They really do care about us and what's going on. They work their hardest to make sure we feel safe enough to open up and really do some work. My name is Jessica and I will say Anthony(a counselor there) truly got through to me. Updated 2024 - Still grateful for ARS. The nursing & front window staff is incredible. 🖤 THEY are who holds this place together & keeps it running smoothly. But since my original review, owners have taken on even MORE patients. I have gotten to a place where I only go 2 xs a month. So doesn't affect me as much as it will newer patients. But still wanted to make a note of it.
I have to start out saying ARS is what you make of it. I have been on this program for many years (that is MY journey, maybe not yours) but i have YET to have ANY issues with staff abusing power. A legit 10 + years and not ONCE has anyone abused their power w me.
👉*IF YOU*
• Come and do what you are SUPPOSED to.
• LEAVE when u are done.
• Stop using (u have time to adjust.)
• Give clean drug tests.
• Dont cause chaos & drama.
•Treat everyone how YOU like to be treated.
👉You should NOT have any problems.
👉*But...If you*
•Befriend all the slackers w no jobs doing nothing w their lives still.
• Chill in parking lot for an hour (or until kicked out by security.).
• Make BFFs w other patients that are STILL living dirty.
• Find yerself a boyfriend or girlfriend that is still using OR new in recovery also.
👉 Basically if you treat this place A SOCIAL EVENT/ dating app - Yes, you WILL have issues & time there WILL suck.
I do agree w/ one of the posters before me...it WAS better in Sommers Point. When we moved locations they took on WAY too many patients. When I started there was a little over 200, now there is 3 TIMES PLUS that. Staff doesnt have the time they need & have WAY too much on their caseloads. Granted, Dr.Roth is a SUPERHERO. He will gonabove and beyond for you if he knows you are doing the right thing.
But for a PRIVATE (aka for profit) facility, I DO expect to get what I NEED out of it. At OVER $100 a week per patient + payouts for things we accomplish (i.e. groups, sessions, ect) it would be nice to have the community feel we once had here. It was SUCH a great place when the staff wasnt overloaded. And I mean GREAT. I understand this IS FOR PROFIT clinic but it's started to get that "state funded" feel. 😞 I mean, obvi this IS a BUSINESS, but still. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I have moved many times for work in life so have been to 5 diff clinics. State funded AND private. I picked this place BACAUSE it was privately owned.
It's STILL a great place, and i am grateful for it. Don't get me wrong... but if u knew how much better it was run BEFORE the move -
you'd understand.
Again-Stay away from the slackers & drama queens/kings. Do what you are supposed to do. Give clean drug tests, Go to at least 1 group OR see yr councelor for alternate ways if u have a career/work days. GET A JOB or go to school & make something of yourself. Nothing will change if YOU don't.

My therapist is Ryan I have been with him for 6 months. He is very understanding, a good listener and is easy to talk to. He is someone that is able to tell you a plan and a course of action to help you for whatever troubles you're facing. My experience has enlightened me and inspired my path of what they call treatment and recovery which I renamed Training staff is impeccable and caring. Upon arrival I was welcomed by Melissa with open arms and a huge smile that made me want to stay instead of run away like most. Most Techs are great even knowing they are 1/2 my age. I have been integrated into Legacys treatment for A DAY and the staff, community, as well as the setting is nothing like any other experience; They provide lunch and other food for anytime, the staff call out our flunks, therapy is provided at the highest quality once or twice a week, an inhouse doctor prescribes and stays up to date on your medication journey. Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I have all good things to say about this program. I was not planning on continuing treatment in New Jersey, but the director of the program came and talked to me in detox and explained the benefits and calmed my anxiety about the whole process. He told me about the women's house manager, Val, and he said there is no one else he would recommend to take care of his clients. He said that if he could send everyone to live under Val, he would. I am happy to say that even that was an understatement for Val. Big personality, big passion for recovery and so much love for her girls. From the day I stepped onto Val's doorstep, I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared for. From the beginning she displayed confidence in me and a real desire for me to be there. Val is the reason that house is a home, and for a woman like me, who literally lost everything this year, that made a world of difference. The unity and sisterhood I experienced at sobriety solutions sober living reminded me that connection is the antidote to addiction. Thank you Val, and Mike, and all of sobriety solutions staff! You carried me through a very difficult time, away from my family and in a delicate emotional state. You continue to text and check on me, celebrating my wins and helping me through triggers and tough moments. Amazing staff who make sure you’re are well taken care of and comfortable. The chef made incredible food for every meal and stocked the fridge every day with fresh food that we could eat at anytime as well. They also kept the freezer stocked with ice cream and water ice. The facility is cozy and kept very clean. There is a smart tv in every room as well as in the lounge/common area which is set up like a living room. I found the groups helpful. There are 3 hour long groups you can attend but don’t have to and either an AA or NA speakers that comes every night for an hour long meeting. I liked that Sunrise is a smaller facility, having room for about 20 patients. This made it easier to open up and share. I went to sunrise 6/7 for the first time ever and I don’t regret a single thing about. Never been to detox before but the people who work there actually care about you and want you to get better. It only works if you are ready though. The food was amazing everyday, the counselors are there to help you, and the doctors/nurses want what’s best for you. I will 100% be going back there one day to speak to the patients to show them that recovery is possible. They also help you with finding resources after being discharged. I was recommended tk a doctor for the sublocade shot and had it done within two weeks of leaving sunrise. It’s a smaller operation but I found it to be better.

I've been coming here since 2013 and it's great. Kim and John are the best. This place helps with drug addiction, homelessness, runs groups including AA and NA groups, has summer barbecues on the holidays, goes on trips, has Halloween and Thanksgiving parties for those who have no place to go during the holidays, goes on trips, runs self help groups, has a food pantry and a clothing drive, does arts and crafts, has a free printer and fax machine, has free Wawa food on Thurs and Fri. And much more. The staff is very friendly and the building is very clean. I luv this place. I definitely recommend it to ppl who are struggling.

This was my first time in treatment, there was alot of miscommunication among staff and clients. I can truly say Harmony Healing Center gave me the tools to start living a clean life. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to come here. Bri did everything she could to help with FMLA and short term disability. Katie was always available, and made me feel comfortable to share with her the things I need to work on.I was very surprised to receive this amount of individual attention. I was never brushed off or made to feel like anyone was “too busy”. Housing was well maintained and comfortable. Anytime something was needed within the house either a tech, or even Bri and Katie would give us a ride to a nearby store. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a PHP. Thank you Harmony! Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m still sober. 4 months and 2 weeks. But I was amazed how a therapist and case manager took us to get food for housing when needed. I worked in this business. That is not in their job description. Above and beyond.

Harmony was such a blessing to me. The clinical staff, especially one person in particular, Katie, the group facilitater was phenomenal. She was very transparent and relatable. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have completed the program. Thanks to her educating me and continued support, I can proudly say today I have 5 and a half months clean. My son and I thank you for saving my life!

My son entered the EIP program through Genesis in Collingwood. Mrs.Latonya is BEST COUNSELOR WITH THE KIDS. MY SON LOVED IT. In the beginning it's was crowded and my son was nervous, but she made him feel comfortable and he started opening up. He interacted with other children in the group. Mrs. Nadiya was also very involved with the kids and did A WONDERFUL JOB with there session groups.

I love my PCP. Dr. T and the nurses are the best. My PCP keeps me in the loop. She gives her honest recommendation even if I disagree (which is often). However, she listens to my objections, allows questions, and does her best to answer them.

i usually hate calling anywhere to make appointments because whoever answers the phone sounds like they just want to hurry up and rush to do whatever they need to do or just don’t have very pleasant attitudes. Donna answered my call and set up my appointment and she was very sweet and helpful! I’ve been nervous about going back to therapy but she made that first step very easy for me. She was amazing!
