This is an amazing place for anyone going through a difficult time. I have severe PTSD due to some traumas. I’m leaving feeling better, thank god. Every single staff member I’ve met was so caring, kind, and loving. They truly give their all and love what they do. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I made the best decision of my life going here for help. It saved my life. I honestly didn’t want to leave. Thank you for your love at the lowest point in my life. Love you all.

I have been receiving IV infusions for the past 3 months and I have never felt better! At 56yrs old my body was beginning to slow down from so many medical issues and procedures. I have very bad veins and normally shy away from IV infusions because it’s so hard for anyone to get a vein to insert an IV. On my second visit SiSi made the decision to purchase a IV finder, because she was determined to ensure that her clients received exactly what they need without being poked repeatedly. I have regained my strength, vibrance and endurance. My skin is bright, clear and nourished. My mind is clear and focused. I appreciate the one on one attention to each client and the professionalism that is expected from those we put our trust in to treat us. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and very clean (trust me that is very important). If I could give Health & Vitality 10 stars I would!

I went in for an immunity boost IV and had such a great experience! The space is welcoming and everyone was incredibly kind and professional. I’m a notoriously hard stick, but they used a vein finder and even numbed the area first, which made the whole process surprisingly pleasant. The IV was easy, relaxing, and I felt great afterward.
I’ll definitely be back and probably adding a little Botox next time, because why not? Highly recommend! 💉✨

I make everything start at worst case scenario hoping it doesn't stay there but unfortunately it sometimes does. Im not going to give you a play by play or some incredible testimony because my story is still going strong but I've come a very long way and I 💯 give my counselor, Susan, alot of credit for sticking by me even bk in the beginning when I would be nasty and childish towards her and ill never forget when she told me that she was just waiting for me to be ready. * full disclosure im a garbage head and at the time I needed rehab terribly. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens.

I can only speak to the adult IOP/PHP program, but my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Despite some of the older, more critical reviews, the current psychologist, Dr. Akunna, is excellent. The staff is also very respectful of gender identities and preferred names — I’ve even seen therapists gently correct each other when the wrong pronoun was used by mistake.
Britney is a fantastic therapist — extremely validating and supportive. The smaller group setting allows for meaningful one-on-one attention, especially during afternoon sessions. Grace, their most consistent group therapist, creates a space where people can truly show up as they are — something I’ve rarely seen done so well.
Ajita and the rest of the team work hard to support clients while also holding firm, compassionate boundaries to set them up for success after leaving the program. They use a mix of DBT, CBT, and other therapeutic approaches to teach skills in a holistic, client-centered way. They also encourage clients to seek additional medical support, such as a primary care doctor or nutritionist, when needed.
Overall, the team is committed to helping clients fully engage with treatment — and you truly get out of the program what you put into it.

My roommate just came back from a stay here and apparently it's not the 5-star hotel everyone was raving about. Firstly, if you're staying here overnight, pack more things than you may need if you want to be comfortable, they take your phone and you're not allowed to call anyone except to get food delivered or if it's to the person/service picking you up. The food wasnt terrible, one night they served chicken baked with BBQ sauce with corn on the cob and beans. If you like cats, great! They have some on the property and they're friendly (and they get to eat your leftovers). You're not allowed off the property so you wobt ve able to explore the abandoned farms in the vicinity on your free time, which you will have a lot of. So, bring something to do like a puzzle or crossword or whatever keeps your mind occupied. The only forms of entertainment will be some TV, magazines, basketball with a broken plastic crate for a hoop, kitties(!), smoking if you smoke, reading something like the back of a shampoo bottle or drawing if you're into that sort of thing, socializing can really help. The people who oversee your stay are actually really nice if you treat then nice (they're just doing their job) and overall the quality of your stay will depend greatly on the people staying with you. So, hopefully you'll be with people who you can trust to go take a shower without having your stuff potentially stolen (so dont bring valuables) but the stay was pretty good, it's really about the people there. They will give you clean bedding, a towel, blanket, act but the mattresses are .. not the best and quite noisy when shifting arround. If your mind is used to instant gratification like internet or TV, be prepared to be very bored if you dont bring something to read/draw on/ occupy your time with.

Hands down, pyramid and staff saved my life. From the minute I stepped into the building until my discharge there was nothing but compassion from all staff. Two staff members in particular need to be acknowledged for their excellent service to recovery. Short term counselor Lena met me exactly where I was at. She walked me through the process. There were definitely times I wanted to leave, because my disease was telling me to go use, but her voice came through sharing her experience, strength, and hope. I truly believe I am alive today because she was there in my darkest moments. When the initial storm started clearing and I made it to the long term unit I was met yet again by pure compassion. Christy took over where Lena left off. She was bombarded with her case load but still took the time to constantly make sure each and every client was aware that we could beat our addiction. Words can not describe the lengths both of these counselors were willing to go. Even the techs were wonderful. Kayla was willing to go above and beyond to assure all of the clients that we could make it if we were willing to put in the work.
Today I am doing the work. In my mind I would not be here today if not for these beautiful people.
I am 4 months sober today and one thing that all 3 of these ladies told me was in order to keep this gift of recovery I would need to get a network, make meetings, and get a sponsor. Today I am doing those exact things and it is working.
Recovery is an on going process. But the fact is it had to start somewhere. For me it started when I walked through the doors of Pyramid and was fortunate enough to meet compassionate people willing to help.
Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. Today I choose to live. One day at a time I can do this.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the Partial Hospitalization and IOP programs, especially at the Northeast IOP location. From the moment I walked in, I felt seen—really seen—for the first time in a long time. The staff didn’t just check boxes or hand out advice; they took the time to truly understand me.
A special shout out to Juan Garzon, who made a lasting impact on my journey. He helped me explore what safety really means for me and held me accountable in a way that felt compassionate, not judgmental. His support gave me a foundation to start building trust—in others and in myself.
The trauma group they referred me to was a turning point. Sitting in a room full of other women who carried stories like mine made me realize I wasn’t alone. For once, I didn’t feel like the “strong personality” that had to keep it all together. I found space to be soft. To be safe. And to start healing.
Dr. Ralph was another steady presence. She always listened—really listened—and never pushed medications just for the sake of it. I appreciate how seriously she took me and how respectfully she handled my care.
This program didn’t just support my mental health—it helped reshape the way I see myself and the world around me.
They saved my life and im grateful for that

Cannot recommend the DBT PHP program enough.
The DBT PHP program is extremely structured. It's a modality that pushes you to find a way to be present in the moment and in your body, gain insight on your emotional responses, and provides some tools for you to cope. As someone who is generally highly reactive, untrusting, and disassociated, this has been life changing.
The staff are LGBTQ+ friendly and cross-culturally aware. There are single stall restrooms. You are in a room without a window when youre in treatment. It's not overhead lighting. There are breaks between groups if you wanted to step outside. Theres a water cooler, tea, and coffee.
The care and consideration from all of the staff helped me feel safe and open up. The therapists broke down the skills we learned to ensure we really understood how to utilize them. The program also has homework, which is usually a short exercise to do at home to reflect and practice what skill you learned that day. This part is really key.
This isn't school, nobody is coming for you if you dont do your homework. Instead the therapists approach you with curiosity, to see if they could help you work through any barriers in trying the skills.
Dr. Ralph is THE best psychiatrist I have EVER SEEN in my life. She is so brilliant and compassionate. She REALLY listens and takes in your feedback.
Dee, Anika, Nicole, Mira, Alexis, Sandy, Justine, Peter are all incredibly skilled providers. I cannot thank all of you enough for your insight, for your softness when I was in such a hard place.
Mikayla and Kai, you both do so much to keep all these programs running. Staying on top of all the letters, answering questions, setting up appointments, getting us to and from therapy safely, finding ways to keep me talking and laughing -- this place would not be able to run without yall.
my onnlllly thing is I wish they took medicaid or had some services that they took medicaid for.
I wish they had some trauma focused programs or once support groups for grief, loss, SA, EDs, etc.
try to reflect on how youre doing, how your meds are working. It makes it easier to understand your wants and needs.
be honest, advocate for yourself. be willing to try. even if you think its silly or feel "theres no way deep breathing will help my depression" try it anyway. everything isnt gonna work, but some things will. Nothing will if you dont try.
Good luck!
