My experience is as always very professional and caring but been there many times and still cannot weigh me I am wheelchair bound
I went there it was a good place the staff was very helping with your needs . It helped putting me back on the track I needed to be on almost 10 months clean and sober just wanted to tell all the staff there thank you guys for everything that you guys helped me do. I would so recommend this place if you are serious about getting clean go here...

The experience of clients is wholly dependent on the counselors. I had a good one. Clerical, billing and administrative all seem to genuinely be helpful. Most of your experience will be with the counselors, so yeah it'll really depend.
They may be able to help you realize triggers and non-consequential thinking. They can help to connect you with the treatment level appropriate, if any. They aren't selling a model of treatment or cajoling clients to be better. They expect if you're there, you're ready to be honest and open to the opinion of a professional. What you do with that information is yours. If you ask, they'll tell you how they can best help.
When seeing reviews for this place, please keep in mind the mindset of most people going to a county service and taking time to leave a review. Most people feel entitled to have access to these services instead of the privilege it is, so will often come at it from that viewpoint. I understand the county is not required to provide any services, but am grateful that they do.

Just to lyk the staff curse I mean there’s no prob w dem doing it bc children do to but if ur on suicidal watch they literally watch u 24/7
They go in the bathroom w u when uu shower also.. very uncomfortable. And sometimes they’re rude and disrespectful but they don’t notice they’re rude . But yeah rate it a 10 it’s not that bad but it’s not worser the turn about ranch ..

I've had I think 2 or 3 therapists there, I personally didn't feel comfortable talking to the first one but the one I have now is amazing 💗 also from what I heard, one of the teachers at the "school" my cousin went to when they were there
Emotionally abused my cousin (who has autism and multiple other things.)
Called him names, called out my cousin in front of the whole class to exclude and embarrassed him.
From what my cousin said, the kids were very rude and got in alot of fights and the staff just sat around. Also the teacher was fired from what the staff was "aloud" to tell us

No one chooses to come to this place over another place, but here’s a review:
The staff had no idea who I was when I got there. Of course, neither did I. They treated me like I was some guy off the street, and based their opinion of me on how I was acting, which, at the time, was terrible.
Over time, I chilled out, and got to know some of the staff, and found at least one of them to be a decent human being. I never really got tight with any of the patients except one guy I got in a fight with and now we’re pretty good.
It’s pretty much what you make of it, if you are expecting to be ‘healed’ you are probably going to be disappointed. If you are willing to look at what brought you there, if you are ready to accept some kind of responsibility for your share in it, you might find that GBHC can provide some time to try and address whatever it was that got you locked up in the first place. If you think the doctors and nurses are going to provide you with answers for life’s persistent questions, you can always keep looking.
Food is alright, but could be a lot better.
RSS is a wonderful place to go for help they have helped my Mother and me for a lot of years with health care and housing and Jobs the staff there are wonderful people to work with.

It's been a few years since I've been a member of RSS on River St. in Oneonta but I wanted to give a review. This organization helped me when I had no family or friends or anyone in this world. God lead me to RSS and they helped change my life. Sherry Stallone and her staff were kind., respectful and understanding when I was incapable and afraid and misunderstood. My agoraphobia would have taken over my life had it not been for the help given and received from RSS and the Mental health office they sent me to in Oneonta. RSS works with the community and the individual to enable people like me with mental health issues to become a working and contributing member of society. RSS was the VERY first step for me that opened all the other doors I could not open myself. They supported me all the way until I was able to be launched on my own. I love them all and highly recommend RSS and all the workers there. Joanie G.
Place was horrible, very few good caring counselors. Recently there was a change at the top and seems to be better. Tiffany, Carly and Fawn along with the office staff are good and helpful.
I was lied to, told I had to leave then got an attorney and it all changed.
It is getting better there and hopefully it continues

My therapist Carly listens to me. Allison Thomas my psychiatrist I trust. I have not had a bad experience with this office. Only problem is sometimes can be hard to get an appointment because they are so booked always. Otherwise very helpful and nice people

Serenity mountain changed my life! Between the caring house staff, knowledgeable clinical team and great activities, this is a great place to grow, learn and recover. While I was there, I was able to learn so much, about myself, my disease, and God. We had opportunities to go to off campus activities including drum aerobics, enerchi, yoga, church and even special things like concerts, ice cream runs, local NA/AA meetings and women’s retreats! The councilors genuinely care and want the best for each and every one of the girls on the mountain, and the house staff does everything they can to keep us safe, healthy, and happy throughout our time there. Sandy and Joe genuinely do their best to help each individual woman and truly care about recovery. The food is much better than most rehabs, and the rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. There is even two house dogs, Chloe and poppi, who make adjusting to the mountain much easier and provide great emotional support when needed! Overall, I highly recommend serenity mountain if addiction is something you struggle with, the road to recovery isn’t always easy, but the mountain is a great stopping point along the journey!
A little over a year ago I made the decision to go to Tully to kickstart my recovery from Alcohol addiction. The entire program gave me a new start on life, and I haven't looked back. Well, I have only to reminisce on the fond memories I have from this place. Counselors, medical staff, chefs and even the cleaners are all amazing. The 1 stars are from bitter people who just didn't want to put forth the effort. Thank you again Tully. Bill 2024 Graduate.

Our son was at Tully Hill twice and I cannot say enough about how good this place is. It gave him hope and established the foundation for his recovery. The staff members are fantastic and our entire experience at Tully Hill was tremendous.
I have been here a few times.. the staff here is amazing!!! From coming in the door to you go out the door every one of them was very professional and they really care about you. I wanted to let them know that they saved my life and just wanted to say thank you!!!!! I'm going on five months clean and will never go down that road again.. they have even called me since I have been out to see how I was doing. It's a very clean place I recommend this place to anyone. They have a cousler named Patrick he is the best..

I started at halfway house April 2015.And that was the best move I made in my life.I thank all the staff that helped me along the way.And yes I'm still clean.
The staff does a good job. They are caring and supportive. The court street facility needs upgrades but serves basic needs.

Awesome staff that gave me the tools to stay sober. I spent much time speaking with the nurse nick and a gentleman named Nate. Both of these gentlemen have helped me astronomically. 10/10 I recommend
My counselor Danielle is the most inspirational person for me, she far surpassed any other entity of ACBC. The entire staff has been a reflection of change for me. The kids and I have been going to this practice for well over 25 years way before Sharon was even a receptionist and location was whites crossing and Dr Salko was alive and Now we see Dr Luma this man has got excellent bed side manners he listens and sits and explains things in a way of understanding the now and what it could be years from now I absolutely love the fact that no matter the diagnosis he knows what he’s talking about and don’t send us of to another doctor this office is very understanding when five or so minutes late, they also get you in really quick when you don’t have an appointment and need to be seen really he’s the only doctor. I know that he has millions of patients and barely has time to fit anybody new in believe me I tried. So to all the negative comments he must be doing something right

I have been using family and children’s for the last 15 months. My first therapist unfortunately moved out of the area so I was put on a wait list. She was absolutely amazing and so helpful, and got me through the abusive relationship I was in. Fast forward to the beginning of September I received a phone call saying how there was someone available for me to see again. Perfect timing because me and my ex had broken up a week before hand and I was in a bad mental state. I then started seeing Bailey. She’s an intern but she has a very successful career ahead of her. She helped me through the beginning stages of my terrible breakup while validating my feelings, coaching me through the struggles of the breakup, and much more. She was absolutely wonderful. I was put on Lexapri through Holli and for the last month I’ve been on it, it has helped tremendously. I feel like an entirely new person. Hopeful, Excited to see what the future holds, and all around genuinely happy. Thank you ❤️
