Serenity mountain changed my life! Between the caring house staff, knowledgeable clinical team and great activities, this is a great place to grow, learn and recover. While I was there, I was able to learn so much, about myself, my disease, and God. We had opportunities to go to off campus activities including drum aerobics, enerchi, yoga, church and even special things like concerts, ice cream runs, local NA/AA meetings and women’s retreats! The councilors genuinely care and want the best for each and every one of the girls on the mountain, and the house staff does everything they can to keep us safe, healthy, and happy throughout our time there. Sandy and Joe genuinely do their best to help each individual woman and truly care about recovery. The food is much better than most rehabs, and the rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. There is even two house dogs, Chloe and poppi, who make adjusting to the mountain much easier and provide great emotional support when needed! Overall, I highly recommend serenity mountain if addiction is something you struggle with, the road to recovery isn’t always easy, but the mountain is a great stopping point along the journey!

I highly recommend Mountain Side for recovery coaching. My family worked with Travis to help support one of my children with addiction by coaching, educating and being a sounding board for the entire family. He is exceptional at what he does and has been tremendously helpful through this difficult period of time.

I hired Travis Alfonso to work with my son as a recovery coach. Travis was down to earth, easy to talk to and caring. Both my son and I found him easy to relate to--thanks Travis.

I was in serious trouble with alcohol and substance abuse not to long ago, so I finally decided to reach out for help and I have to say it has been the best thing that I ever did for myself thanks to NJRC. The entire staff is excellent from the front desk, the administrators to all of the Clinical therapists, Medical staff and Case Managers. If you are in trouble with alcohol, substance abuse and mental health, I would highly recommend NJRC to anyone looking for help.They will definitely give you the help that you need. My life has changed so much for the better with the help of everyone at NJRC. Did I mention the yoga classes, gym availability and the excellent lunches, compliments of NJRC. I'm a very proud graduate of DYC! I completed DYC few years ago and since then I can honestly say that I'm living life to my full potential. Before I entered DYC I was addicted, broken, tired, and hurt many people in my life. Every time I tried to stop using on my own or tried to admit my self into a detox or a short-term program it wouldn't last, I believe now that all I needed was enough time to not only get off of drugs but learn how to live off of drugs. DYC is set up to live daily life functions from the 1st day you get there, unlike other rehabs I've been to, where I would spend days of doing nothing and wait for an appointment with a specialist that would ramble on for 30mins. (very unproductive) and each time I wouldn't last and leave, Luckily my mom found DYC, I remember walking in and seeing feeling such great energy from staff and members, Great place...

We were Young Adults victims of Parents Abusive behavior , we didn't have a choice , born in Unproductive Unhealthy family were alcohol or drugs and violence is normally accepted. Because of Our own Addiction we was forced to Comply with all the Rule of this place. Because we did know how to take care of our self Dynamite Victimized me even more For any miss behavior , example - Lies they Make my follow brothers or sisters Wear the Sing on The Body , For Lying I was send to Clean scrub bathrooms for 9 days. I saw kids sweeping sun of the road. I saw members on the knees sweeping with toothbrush a Gym . The Victimized kids didn't know Better. I was forced to communicate with my own parents After they Sold me to American men to work for him for my Green card . Dynamite didn't help me. They send me back to Abusive Parents. I did know I could File Federal charges Against Dynamite and my Abusive Parents. To those who think Dynamite helps. No not Everyone survived after few years after the Program Many of us when back to Crazy Abusive places we came from and Most of the completions Still use drugs get arrested and list goes on and on. He always believed in me and gave me nothing but good positive affirmation that I follow to this day. . I was upset about something i mean really upset I didn’t wanna continue to be in the program withdrawing drugs coming out of my system.. I didn't wanna be bothered and I just so happened to walk from the female lunchroom to the men’s lunchroom and Miss Lori costa so happened to look out her office and Yell out at me, music playing people eating lotta noise so she said to me loud hey what’s the matter with you? Why are you looking so down get your butt in my office I started to laugh. That’s when my life changed my whole life. what she told me in that office which I’m not going to share on here because it’s personal I mean, no disrespect about it but what she told me in her office ... changed my life. my whole life . Miss Lori and Mr. Vinny at different times throughout the time I was in cornerstone I took what they told me applied it to my life just the way they told me and this day. today I’m alive. I’m sober. I have a job got my own apartment. Pay my bills get to see my kids. I have my family with me and I have a beautiful wife all because of What Miss Lori Costa and vinny a.k.a. Vincent told me in their office all I wanna say is that Miss Lori Costa thank you. You are cornerstone. You are cornerstone Mr. Vincent a.k.a. Vinny. Thank you for believing in me for giving me hope you and Miss Lori Costa are the best thing that ever happened to me. I advise anyone to read this before attending Mountainside . When you are being admitted you are required to sign every document possible and are assured your privacy rights are being honored. However I had an incident where my privacy rights were blatantly violated. I had reported this and was essentially ignored . It is unbelievable that a company of this size can let a patients privacy be ignored . Please make sure you are aware of this before being admitted

I was fortunate to have an amazing recovery coach through Mountainside, Travis Alfonso! He was a huge support in my early recovery. I could go to him with anything. He checked in frequently and we always had great sessions. He's what I'll miss most after moving on from Mountainside. Highly recommend working with him, especially if you're just starting your recovery journey. He always keeps it real and meets you on your level. Thanks for everything, Travis!

Christina is truly exceptional! She listens with genuine empathy and always makes you feel understood. Her attentiveness stands out, and even though it’s never expected, she consistently goes above and beyond to be available whenever support is needed. Mountainside has been one of the best treatment facilities that I have ever worked with. Recently, I had a family member complete inpatient and IOP and I was amazed at how well the team works with their clients. From the initial intake process to referral services, I would have been lost without them!

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina. Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me. Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina. Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.
