I had a great experience at Medmark. Luis was my counselor and it was apparent from day one that he genuinely cared, he always went out of his way to accommodate my unusual schedule and in turn I made sure that I never missed my sessions with him he made my sessions entertaining and I learned a lot from them I will miss medmark and Luis. I can only hope that my next treatment center is half as professional as medmark was. Scott

Well all I can say is that my adult child suffers from Schizophrenia and goes into psychosis often however we recently used this hospital. The psychiatrist here wants to help and has done better than most facilities. It's about getting the meds stabilized in a person. However, often people don't understand that it's a the illness that makes things complicated in a person's phsiologogy make up of what meds are compatible. In saying this a good Psychiatrist will look through the patient history and allergic reactions to meds and will make the best appropriate decision in helping the patient to be comfortable and safe without any addictions to certain kinds of meds in a bad way however, only what is needed. From my understanding I know I have had the doctor there help my adult child to recover as best as they can. When the meds are unbalanced for whatever reason we take him here to get them balanced. There are legal regulations in every hospital and a patient's right are we work with this information so do they. So the patient gets the right treatment in meds. I know the level of care they can do and understanding mental illness very well. However everyone mental health is different. I believe in the psychiatrist here to make educated trained decisions. I always pray 🙏 they continue to make the best recommendations for each patient.

I've been receiving treatment with EHN for a few years now. And overall they have been so helpful in so many ways providing the best resources to me when I need them the most. My only complaints are 1, that it seems like everytime I get comfortable and start making good progress with my case workers they end up changing my caseworker to a different one. I'm on my now 3rd caseworker now and I'm almost hesitant to open up because it's not easy for me to trust people after trauma I've experienced in my life an I worry when this one will be switched out for the next again.
And 2, it took months on the waiting list for a therapist and after a handful of sessions so far it seems like she hasn't paid much attention to the goals we set for what I want to work on in therapy that we set in our first appointment. I'm hoping that in our next appointment when I try to bring this up with Her that she will change the direction of what we have been doing and listen to my needs.
Other than that however highly recommend the east side clinic.

I thank God for this home! The only focus here is for an individual to fall in love with Jesus Christ. It’s not like other rehabilitation centers were they use medication and counseling. This program uses the word of God to heal and set the drug/alcoholic free! It’s FREE of charge! They provide everything for you. The church services are awesome as well! El Paso is the 339th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $49883. This is lower than the average cost of $56623 for addiction treatment in Texas and lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in El Paso vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in El Paso. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in El Paso that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near El Paso.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in El Paso, with 7 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 7 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 7 drug rehabs.
El Paso has the 365th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in El Paso county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in El Paso or El Paso county as a whole.
In 2023, El Paso had the 18th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 2489 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in El Paso. All values are per 100,000 population.
