I was here as a 17 year old patient in 2009 when it was SOASTC. I truly had a wonderful time at the facility in Merlin. I feel the program helped me out while I was in treatment at SOASTC Merlin. My time there was excellent and yes I had behavioral issues at times but I did learn a lot and it really helped me the program. I was a troubled youth that needed help. I was treated good by the staff. I really liked my therapist Shane. I truly do recommend this program. It really helped me out and I do believe that people can change from their ways. I miss the good old days at SOASTC. I have to say all the staff were awesome. I miss them all.. Jeff Moyer was funny. I miss him and everyone who use to work there. SOASTC will always be a part of me. I am now 30 years old, I always miss the good old days.

Outstanding experience overall and I’ve learned more about the way our minds process through your information than anywhere else. Staff are amazing and missed. Much love from Eastern Oregon as this side of the state crumbles from the lack of people like you guys. Also any of these people who left a bad review are most likely narcissistic, pathological liars, psychologically abusive people, or people who can’t take accountability for actions. I run into it every day. The only people who oppose this training are people who typically just refuse to treat others correctly. Instead they get offended and treat people who are doing what’s right incorrectly. I could make changes with what I’ve learned if I had the power to do more over here. I’ve tried but people who are manipulative seem to have the power over here. Any of you who complain need to readjust your opinions and try moving to a new area. It’s too easy to create an issue just because you can’t do the right thing. It’s part of this training. Most people can’t do the right thing as soon as they are upset. Anyone who’s upset in these reviews is the exact thing they train you to ignore because it’s a spiteful response and you aren’t using a logical thought process. Keep it to yourself. Don’t go looking for issues months or years later just because your life isn’t what you wanted it to be.

After searching for help during a mental health crisis, the Samaritan PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) ended up being the only place able to help me. I was brought into their three-week program, and I couldn't be happier with how it went. I felt thoroughly supported and appreciated, I learned so much and grew even more. The staff members (Terri, Lauren, Daryl, Erin, Brian) were all absolutely WONDERFUL folks and so helpful in my mental health journey. If you're in an emotional crisis or need more help than you're getting, consider Samaritan PHP. Not everyone will get as much as I did out of it, but I really think more folks should give it a go! I slept the entire time because of the medicine they put me on. They have a free phone that patients can use. The food is great! Patients get to decide what they want to eat. There is a menu. I was woken up by a nurse to attend an arts and crafts group. A Catholic priest came in my room and blessed me with oil against my will. He did not ask me if I wanted to be blessed. He just did it. They have a covered outside area for people that want to smoke. Patients are given cigarettes by the nurses. They have a gym but it's not great. When I visited a friend here they had a T.V. room. I didn't notice it when I was staying there. Maybe it was a different unit. My only complaint is that it is hard to get into this place because of the Linn County crisis team are mentally retarded or something. Even when I was pregnant and attempted suicide they refused to hospitalize me to protect the baby. However, they would be glad to give me the phone number to a clinic where I could kill it. Saves them money I guess if there mentally ill pregnant patients just have abortions. Linn County Mental Health is evil.

Awakenings by the Sea is a women’s substance abuse treatment center in Seaside, Oregon. Their recovery facility is accredited by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. They offer inpatient and outpatient treatment services. The treatment center is small by design
Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories. The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I have been given the tools and healing time I was desperately in need of and I cannot thank them enough.

With all the reviews I was scared to go to this place but the doctors, nurses and staff were amazing. I've had a lot of bad experience with doctors, and the doctor listened to me and helped. I was at lakefront before this and some of their doctors are super disrespectful to the point where I left crying. This place deserves at least 4 stars. Not sure why this office is getting hate... they're really ontop of stuff for me and they seem like they care.

Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months he's gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesn't dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didn't even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.

This place is extremely homophobic and does not allow people that have already graduated from the program to go back in for resto just because he is gay. People that are trying to get help and be under God‘s protection are getting shunned by the people that are supposed to help. This place should not be in business. Places like this is supposed to be accepting of all and willing to help everybody and for them to shun somebody because they are gay is unacceptable. Dylan is the homophobe that we spoke to and was saying that someone that is gay would have to be in rehab for one year instead of six months. I guess some sort of conversion therapy. I was in the phone as well and I know what he was denied for. Not only was it because he was homosexual but Dylan actually laughed at him as well. Don’t try to make it less than it was

I can’t say enough good things about Michael Crose. Going through a DUI intake isn’t exactly something you look forward to, but Michael made the experience feel human. From the start, he was easy to talk to; genuine, respectful, and clearly someone who cares about people, not just paperwork. He made me feel comfortable, never judged, and even found ways to bring some lightness into a heavy situation. It might sound small, but when we starting going off about sparkling water he mentioned his love for watermelon Waterloo, felt like I was talking to a real person, not just a counselor checking boxes. He treats you with compassion and makes sure you understand every step of the process. Keep kicking ass, and thanks for making something I thought was going to be stressful.. not!

I moved to Vancouver from outta state, but I have been seeing this Sea Mar clinic since about a year. Have had the same male doctor. Everyone is great here, from mental health to help getting in to see specialists. Only down fall I have been able to come across: is getting in for summer appointments with my PCP (which is totally fine), OBGYNs constantly leaving, and the occasional rude receptionist. If and when u meet a rude receptionist, take a deep breath and try a ton of kindness, if and when that doesn't work tell them they r going to transfer u or u will treat them exactly how they are treating u. Most usually break at that point and transfer, or bable on about what is going on with them. As an empath I don't mind, but I'm also one of those ppl who everyone will talk to about everything under the sun. Kill everyone with kindness, u don't know what's going on, u don't know the Karen they just had to remove from the clinic, u don't know about the threats they had to hear today. That's what is wrong with our medical system, it is understaffed, and treated poorly, what is the point in trying to convince our kids to go into health care with how poorly some patients treat our health care workers. No not all patients do that, but enough its makes an impact on our health care workers.

Sometimes the staff is short so I’ve had times where maybe they needed some grace but they’re humans & doing the best they can. I always receive good care & so do my children. The pediatric department is amazing. Our pediatrician is the biggest blessing. I’ve received OBGYN care here & was so grateful for the women’s clinic.

This is a charity clinic, but they take regular insured patients here too. I like to go to them so my insurance coverage goes towards a good cause. I highly recommend Dr. Rachael as a primary care physician. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. The only downside to this clinic is that there are a lot of homeless who hang around outside to receive assistance and while they are usually not violent you do need to be careful because they might not be in the right state of mind.

Since switching to the Kelso from the Longview one, I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've found the staff fantastic and quite professional. People do need to realize that it is the low budget provider. However, I've never felt that way towards this hard working office
