I truly have no idea how the ratings are so low for this hospital. I have been here for a few days. It was with great apprehension when I was taken to the ER, but only to be thankful I was taken there. Every caregiver in the building go above and beyond. A big Thank you to everyone in the ER.The doctors are unbelievable, the nursing staff are beyond capable, even the staff from the kitchen are so kind. I've only come into contact with one person didn't fit into this team. A woman when you check in with long gray hair. So thank you to all you wonderful people at Bay area hospital of Coos Bay.

The VA RC&C, often referred to the "Dom," hearkening back to its Camp White's hospital days, during WWII. That place is beautiful with a peaceful, tranquil feeling inside & out, maybe because of the architecture of generations ago, like strong noble parents & grandparents who always care about us. The clerks at the VA RC&C are cordial & professional. My eye doctor there is excellent - very professional, knowledgeable, efficient & kindly. Inside the buildings, everything is always nice & clean & pleasant, very well-kept, & there is comfortable seating here & there in the hallways as well as lighting that is gentle on the eyes & greatly appreciated. Also, there are hallways with interesting photos & pictures, & one hallway shows remarkably great artworks by elementary schoolchildren of all the past Presidents. The beautiful trees, plants, flowers & lawns of the VA RC&C's grounds are very soothing - something about that facility in its entirety is comforting, I always feel that when I go there. Probably, because comforting care has gone on there for generations & always will for those who've cared for our country, here at home & abroad. All of us veterans appreciate the VA RC&C very much :-)

The staff are as friendly as they can afford to be considering their workload. I have received the best of care from various providers and what they can't do, Community Care has been quick to get my care farmed out to local providers. I have seen other veterans arrive with the worst of attitudes and, unfortunately, some staff fire back at them. For those that have given a low review of this facility, I think you are wrong and I can only hope that you can stop seeing little things as injustices to yourselves and, instead, consider the injustices that you impose first.

In 2017 I wrote: The VA isn't just for medical. My husband is 30%+ disabled and they have an agreement with at least 5 companies to work as a temp agency for job placement for disabled vets. He got a job fast! Don't be afraid to get out there and try new things. We met with Mr Hanger the disabled vet representative at worksource and he works closely with the VA. What a fantastic team!It s now 2024 and working for the VA has changed.. New management stricter less like family.

Get tchya'll fixed up with what ails ya. Doctors, Nurses and Staff are kind. My care team in particular have done some amazing work and I am grateful. Pharmacy is pretty swift, especially when called in ahead of time or scheduled.I have had some recent appointments where they were not prepared for me or the person I was scheduled to see had called off or had to cover a different area. Leaving me to reschedule 3 separate occasions. I live fairly far away and take time off for some of these. I really wish they would have called me ahead of time.Oh well. It's pretty busy in there and I know staffing is a real issue. Pay these people more and fix that damn elevator. I don't even use it, but the elevator technician has got to pick up their game.Despite these recent snafus, I have the utmost respect for the people who work there and thankful they are here in the community.Overall 9.9/10Mistakes happen. I probably won't die.

U-Turn for Christ in Grants Pass is a truly unique and effective place for those genuinely seeking to move forward from lives of addiction and self-destruction. We have seen the life of a family member, who had been in a death-spiral for nearly 30 years, be transformed into something amazing. I had the opportunity to visit the U-Turn ranch, talk with the men there working toward restoration, and seeing the unbelievable results of what a Christ-centered recovery environment has accomplished. Not only have the lives of these men been radically changed for their own good and the good of our society, but the impact to the extended families (moms, dads, siblings, children, etc.) has been phenomenal.Some reviews I've read are critical of the methods employed at the ranch. Having served in the US Military, however, gives one the wisdom and understanding that some men are more stubborn than the average person and often choose the harder road. In my experience, these men that have suffered long term addictions, homelessness, abuse and even prison time, generally do not change when the road to recovery is easy.U-Turn for Christ in Grants Pass doesn't offer the easy recovery road. They do, however, offer enormous love and compassion for those who choose the hard path to recovery. None of these men are forced to stay at the ranch - they do so voluntarily. Our family member need several attempts to complete the program without giving up. But what dramatic and wonderful results we have seen as we saw Jesus break through all of the tough outward defenses and form a new man, even to become a leader of others struggling as he had. A modern-day miracle!We are deeply grateful to the many who have worked tirelessly to help these men. A special shout-out to Calvary Chapel Grants Pass and to those who are storing up treasures in Heaven as they see lives transformed directly due to their efforts. What they don't often see are the dozens of lives that are touched through each of the men they help. Adapt is a very compassionate, client focused, individualized treatment agency. They have been around a long time and do their best to help someone when they are struggling through hard times. The program director and staff are the greatest around and I have been very thankful for the services they offer.

So, I have been going to this clinic for around 2 years now. Here is as accurate of a review straight from a hardcore addict that is doing good now, could possibly give.....First off, this place saved my life and helped form me into a functioning member of society. The one counsellor that is still working there and basically running the whole show, is AMAZING... and if you aren't ready for recovery, are bullshitting her, she WILL KNOW. so DONT BULLSHIT HER. BE HONEST, Both other methadone clinics REFUSED me and said I didn't meet their criteria and tried sending me to residential recovery....and the waitlist everywhere else, was just INSANE. This place always has the SHORTEST WAITLIST(in my experience), The staff here are honestly so damn caring and awesome, anyone saying otherwise in a review clearly haven't been around actual "disrespectful" people... they are so much nicer than any other clinic in Eugene when it comes to being personable and has an almost "Family" like vibe. Never has staff here every been anything but amazing and leave me with a smile on my face..... The Main thing you need to know, "GROUPS ARE A REQUIREMENT" for this Clinic, and it is "NOT" a "Juice Bar".... meaning, you will have to comply with their groups/etc otherwise they have no problem holding your dose. If you miss a group, you wont be able to dose the next day until you go to a "Make up group"... In my opinion, people in early recovery can't be expected to make all the groups, and holding that over addicts heads being that early in recovery, can end up being just another reason to smoke more fentanyl... i know it was for me... It wasn't easy getting off the fetty... and some of the shit this clinic did in the early stages really didn't help..... THAT BEING SAID, all in all, if you are SERIOUS about getting clean and being off fentanyl and a functioning member of society, this is the Clinic for you. If you just want to Dose and go, and have the clinic leave you alone with nothing expected of you... I definitely would NOT try going to this place. I hope this review helps someone out there trying to choose where to get help. If you truly want to change your life, Go to this clinic. -LogicBaumZ-

This place is amazing! Don't listen to these negative posts on here, entitled brats whining about not getting their way, except the one about the lack of wheelchair access to the group rooms, that's true and unfortunate. This clinic can save your life, as it did mine, but you won't always get your way because they will often tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. They might require to do things that you need to do, but they might not be the things you want to do. It's only because they care that they do those things, and let's face it, they're helping you fight a disease that's trying to kill you. So if you want compassionate and caring help with that, check them out. It could just be the best decision you've made in a really long time. It was for me.

It took work but the program aided me in finding my soul self though active self reflection and work, and building community with other clients. I would recomment the program but it only works if you re highly motivated and put in the work
