I had in patient treatment in late fall. The AD Care facility was great! It was clean, very nice & comfortable place to stay. The food is very good and the cafeteria was clean and has a great onvionce.
The staff are all very friendly and address your needs with a smile. The staff tends to all your needs and go out of their way to help you. The programs are thorough. They treat you for your physical ailments you may be experiencing as well as psychological aspects of your life. It is truly a all in one treatment facility. They are definitely spot on for the treatment one may be seeking.

I thoroughly appreciate and feel safe at Brown. Formerly St. Anne's hospital. One provider that has made an impact on me in terms of trust is Dr. Old. I also was cared for by two other e.r. doctors last week that were exceptional. But I wanted to specifically highlight Dr. Old and being in his care yesterday. Can't say enough good things about this hospital. I was on their 3rd floor for alcohol withdrawal. I expected the usual judgements/punishments I got in the past.
Not this hospital. Within 10 minutes of arriving, the ER nurse and doctor made it clear that they were going to get me out of pain, and did just that. The doctor actually patted me on the knee when he told me I was going to be alright. I think I cried.
On the cardiac floor the nurses were unbelievable! Kind, caring, and attentive. I can't say enough regarding their professionalism and bedside manner. Thank you to all of you.
They didn't stop there. I have sleep apnea, so every time I fell asleep my Sats would drop. So they sent in respiratory. I argued with the guy about CPAPS ending up on the floor every night. He told me the trick to the CPAP was to keep trying otherwise you die. Last night I got 4 1/2 hours with only 4 EPH and woke up feeling 10 years younger. Keep trying.
The Chaplin and Nuns came to my room to hear my confession and then offer me communion. They also offered some solid advice.
I had a situation occur during a procedure where the IV infiltrated. Looking back, the same spot where the IV was placed also infiltrated during a previous surgery. Just a bad vein. I watched a nurse place another IV in less than 20 seconds. She put that into a distal location, on a dehydrated body!
In summary, I entered this hospital half dead and walked out physically, mentally, and spiritually improved. When that happens you know you have been to a great hospital.

This was my first time at this hospital and I had to go through the ER. I spent nearly 8 hours there and I have to say that every staff member that I encountered treated me wonderfully. Liam and Dava during triage, Dr. Fox, Maya the PA… She was a godsend… As were Liz and Kathleen in the MRI unit. I am a retired nurse anesthetist and I always prided myself in how I treated all of my patients. It is nice to know that in these crazy times there are still multiple healthcare providers out there dedicated to giving excellent patient care.

I have had the honor of being accepted into the program, the class and meeting are well put together, they do have the skills you need to be successful in your recovery, you just need to be completely focused on your recovery and dedicate yourself to that, because if you don't the program will not work.
I sit back and watch women complain and iI see them same women not fully applying themself to the program, if you want something to work you have to read and do what the instructions say or you're not going to get it right, and you tend to blame the program.
1st I believe the consistent use of the cell phones are a major distraction to our recovery while we are here, there are unit phones that can be used.
Also, the rules need to be enforced more and taken serious by the clients, the disrespect between the clients are childish in this moment, so staff are in high stress due to the disrespect they receive by the clients, please don't believe all the wrong things you here about this program.
I am an addict and in recovery, we have a tendency to say things out of anger and when things don't go our way. this program really works, but only if you work it....

My father has been a resident now of St. Elizabeth's for just shy of a year and it has been a great experience. Everyone who works at St. Elizabeth's from the administration, to the med techs to the support staff are helpful not only to the residents but to the family. I recently started therapy sessions here as well as having my first medication management appointment just the other day. I do see Joy for therapy and feel extremely comfortable sharing with her which I’ve had a hard time doing in the past. I’m excited to work on my goals and continue working with Joy, I am so happy I have had the opportunity to meet with her. I really love it here and don't know why it has any negative reviews. I mean like other people say, detox kind of sucks in general. It isn't supposed to be a relaxing spa retreat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are the best. I have been a few times unfortunately, but haven't had a bad experience. I always feel safe. Its a comfortable and relaxing vibe all around. The morning groups can be a little preachy and pushy on views for my liking, but the afternoon groups are good. I find it really helpful to be around, and hear from, others going through the same thing as you. The food is amazing!! You will definitely not go hungry. There is also a lot of freedom for a detox. You can always spend time outside which is really nice. I always leave feeling beter and having a positive outlook. Special shout out Yoyo and counselor Matt! 🙂

This is a well run VA Clinic. The staff is most often courteous and knowledgeable. Appointments are usually on time and done well.

Always had good care and staff are friendly. Only negative thing is they never answer thier phone. Called once while sitting in empty office and yet no one answers. Always goes to VA help line, just seems odd.

We've had our son in a handful of rehabs, but this is the first time we feel hopeful. A couple of weeks ago, my father was transported from UMass Marlboro Hospital for observation and medication management. I am extremely grateful for Alissa, Dr Findley, Naomi, Barbara, and Troy, along with many others who simply listened to my thoughts and safely detoxed my father off of the UMass Marlboro ER mistakes in their documents that inaccurately recorded wrong medication s and dosages. Alissa works with family and case management, Dr Findley is a key psychiatrist , Naomi is a forefront at admissions with a welcoming voice, and Barbara and Troy are part of healthcare nursing team. In short, it takes a village to run a behavioral health facility; this village is a n A+ team. Thank for all you do in a challenging population that requires a high skillset team!
