I had an appointment today for an operation at the Sanford South University Medical Center.
The CNA Erin was very kind.
The doctor, Amna Masood was so sweet and personable, and answered my question directly.
The anesthisiologist was moving more rapidly than my pace, but hey, we all have our own speed; she was professional and courteous.
The registered nurses had good bedside manners. Next time I will make a point to remember their names.
Not many photos this time, since I was unconscious, Lol.

I was cutting tree limb at about 12' on a ladder. the limb was another 12-14' above head I was using a pole saw. the limb approximately 30 ' long and 10" in diameter broke off perfectly as far as placement away from the house it was over and between the vehicles parked adjacent. I failed to see the possibility that none of its branches would break. they did not. so it never settled out to the ground. the end went straight down like it folded in half. and then the placement of the cut above me, up and to the right. fell directly the angle I had positioned myself on the ladder. I didn't notice it as I was watching the end fall. I moved last second when I realized it was upon me. about took my ear off. knocked me unconscious and freefall off the ladder. the force found me landing right arm initiating contact and then side of my head . as I was rotating like a cartwheel. I was found 15 -20 ' from the ladder which was secured and tied off. I landed on the cement sidewalk. I was unconscious for up to 20minutes. I don't recall anything until after the ambulance ride and at my towns local hospital. awesome job by first responders, the couple that found me and called it in. and Wheaton Minnesota hospital. my surgeon at Sanford is a wizard! the wrist was so dislocated and shattered the X-rays look like a mouth with most teeth gone and no recognizable lips or structural consistency resembling a mouth. just had my 2nd surgery to remove plate and pins and I honestly am working and am confident I can return to the oilfield anytime. and I am supposed to have 3 plus months of physical therapy. and the injury has a year long healing timetable. this was July 5.. I had a little bleeding on my brain and was checked by a neurologist to get approved before surgery. I check in on line show up early and am often done within 10 minutes of my scheduled start time. every single person I encounter there is awesome. efficient, professional and helpful. I have had a significant amount of injuries and they have never been this hassle free. so thankful! very impressed. shout out the unbelievably talented Dr. Erpleding!

Recently my husband was cared for at Avera St Luke’s in Aberdeen. He was hospitalized twice during a 5 wk time span. He was admitted through ER both times, cared for on 3rd floor the first time and spent his final days in ICU. Everyone who cared for him was competent, kind and compassionate. These were difficult days for my husband. . However, the staff at St. Luke’s did everything they could to care for him and ease his struggles. This meant so much to us and we are so grateful for the high level of care he received. In his last hours, the nursing staff in ICU was so kind and caring to us as a family. We will be forever grateful to them for helping to make a difficult situation a little easier. Marilyn McNeil

My experience using the EAP program with the Village Family Service Center was wonderful. This was my first therapy experience (after years of telling myself I needed to start) and it was very easy to get set up and started. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly accommodating and kind. I cannot recommend my therapist, Jacob, enough. He was the perfect combination of validating and respectfully assertive. He sorted through my thoughts so well (no matter how jumbled) and always made notice of the effort I was putting in outside of sessions. Even though he has now transferred out of the EAP program, I'm excited to seek out another provider from this clinic. If you're thinking about starting with the Village, I highly encourage it!!

Fargo, ND | ShareHouse offers drug and alcohol rehab services in Fargo, North Dakota. They serve adults with evidence based approaches, which they've continuously expanded since founding in 1975.The center features medication assisted treatment, inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, general outpatient programs, recovery living, and aftercare prog | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ShareHouse was the very first treatment I attend over eight years ago. I felt safe, accepted, and felt no judgment from anyone there. It has been a lasting positive experience for me.
I was pregnant at the time, my six year old daughter that I had when I was 15, at the time was going through chemo treatment foe ALL Leukemia, and so ready for change. I felt like there was no better time to get help for myself in treatment while my daughter was going through her treatment for cancer.
I completed thirty days at Sharehouse, graduated, and asked to be transferred to a Wayside Family Treatment in Minneapolis where I could have my baby and reunite with my two other children.
I extended my stay there four times until I fully believed I was ready to continue my recovery journey. That was the best self advocacy i've ever done in my life.
I graduated that program and then went to White Earth Substance Abuse for IOP and OP.
Here I am, with over eight years of sobriety, a BA in psychology, and currently in my final internship to become a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. My daughter is over six years in remission, and I have all of my children.
I am a mother of 10 with an amazing husband. We have both been through so much and I am so proud of the empire we have built. I am so thankful for each facility and the guidance they provided me with during my time in need. Helping others is a passion I hold dearly.
Again, thank you ShareHouse for the vital role you had on this beautiful journey of sobriety and healing. 💜

This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.

It is a positive thing for the community to have a place like Center Inc. For those who have struggled with the law or addiction, it provides a nice buffer between them and the community. While at the same time allowing those individuals a chance to reentered society in a slow and structured pace. with. Therefore, understanding how to use coping skills came daily a routine I utilized to make me stronger individual to battle any triggers that I'll experience with the hear and now. A trigger is anything that you remember from your past that either brings a memory to have been negative or positive. It's what you do to process those memories and give them acknowledgement but do not let them affect you so you can't move forward. With the time you have to put 100% into your treatment plan and the 100% from the staff will give you the reinsurance that you can give fine detail to your mental thought process Which can take sometime so settle in with Milestones to overcome any battles you may be facing!
