Another reason the US Postal Service should be privatized. I have a PO Box here and the scanning for my package shows it was delivered to this location and that they placed a notification in my box to pick it up. But they still find a way to lose it. Supervisor was unapologetic and gave me some ridiculous excuse about it not being on a log sheet...but it was scanned! Incompetence to the nth degree!

I have no idea where they find these employees but simple respect goes a long way. The rudest front desk in TN.

This is the worst run post office in the country. Packages either get shipped to wrong locations or lost in a black hole at this location for days. I resent my tax dollars being on something this mismanaged.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

Substance abuse treatment in Tennessee is available in addiction treatment centers, where experienced addiction professionals can treat both substance use disorders. Typically, clinicians use a range of evidence-based therapies such as a biopsychosocial assessment, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to get a complete picture of your mental health, support systems, and motivation to change. Through an individualized treatment plan, you'll receive the support you need to achieve long-term sobriety through new skills and relapse prevention strategies.

If you have a co-occurring mental health condition and an addiction, you'll want to address both conditions at the same time, under the same roof. If you only address the mental health disorder, you'll likely continue using drugs, which tends to make mental health issues even worse. On the other hand, if you only address the addiction, the symptoms of your mental health disorder will make it very hard to succeed in recovery.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In Tennessee, group therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction typically involve skill development to help you learn communication techniques and relapse prevention strategies. These strategies support your transition into the community and help you maintain long term sobriety.

Men and women in Tennessee undergoing one on one individual therapy sessions focus on understanding their unique needs and challenges. They do this under the guidance of an experienced therapist who can help you identify and address addiction triggers as well as create personalized relapse prevention plans. This offers you a customized path to a successful recovery journey.

Family therapy uses a structured environment to address the complexities of addiction and the negative influences it has on the family unit. Therapists work with family members to develop effective coping and communication strategies that support their loved one's recovery while also focusing on the health and well being of each family member.

While engaged in couples therapy in Tennessee, you'll learn how to trust, communicate, forgive, and manage emotions. Developing these skills can be beneficial at any time during the relationship, but they are particularly crucial when facing life challenges.

Typical cognitive behavioral therapy in Tennessee involves recognizing negative thinking and learning techniques to change that thinking and create new, positive behaviors. Strategies may include SMART goals, journaling, and situation exposure.

Detox meds helped a ton

Didn’t think I’d make it through detox, but the meds kept me steady. I still talked to my kids every night which meant everything. They could use more help on the floor but the folks there give a damn. Helped me think about workin again too.

I feel strong again

Coming here felt like stepping into safety for the first time in years. The groups were amazing, and I finally started to feel like me again. Some parts felt understaffed, but I was seen and heard. I left stronger, and more ready to be a mom again!

Meds Helped, Staff Cared

I came here after a bad relapse and wasnt sure what to expect. The meds helped big time and I could still call my wife and kids. Staff really cared, though it seemed like they were kinda stretched thin. Grateful I found this place when I did!

This is the WORST post office I have ever been to. They are extremely inefficient and rude. I would strongly suggest going to a different location if it’s not totally out-of-the-way for you.

If you submit a customer request, this is the office they put you in touch with. This office, and the rep, wastes your time pretending to "work with you" for months on the phone, then denies your request by LETTER after ghosting you as the deadline nears. Chicken move. They refused a request for a mailbox move where the location is now extremely dangerous to cross for mail. They make us cross a dangerous, high traffic road to access a "service" provided to taxpayers while offering others safe access locations for their mailboxes. Get that. I'm supplementing their salaries with taxes for a service everyone should be able to access equally & safely and they tell me my safety doesnt matter. They tell us they "will never update routes regardless of traffic volume". USPS is lost and needs to go at this point, as well as our current reps who let them get away with it

Terrible customer that I received today from the lady working on the end. No name badge present and out of uniform.

Both ladies working the counter helped me very quickly and got me the information I needed. Charles Hill replaced our mailbox lock the very next day. Fast services.
