I love this place I went in on Dec 10, 2003, i was demanded by courts to go but once i was released from Santa Rita I knew this is what i needed was to check into a rehab, at first i didnt want to go but i made a choice to do so I graduated on my birthday June 9, 2004 I last 6 months without any consciences Yay I did that! If you are looking to quit your addiction this is the place to be, hope house helped me live again, im 18 years clean and sober from meth! I havent been back for awhile on Wed nites I need to visit soon!

This place completely changed my life. They run a top notch program and the highly attentive staff see to all your needs with no problems. Doctor Kayman is extremely knowledgeable about the brain and the counseling staff is amazing as well, always offering a listening ear and great advice to help any problems that may arise while in treatment. I would like to personally thank counselors Burt, Sharon and Angus for helping me so much while I was there and needed support. Thank you MPI for everything you do!

Omg the nurses at mpi are sooo good hearted and smart. They’re knowledgeable and so extremely kind. Definitely left a footprint on my heart when I went to detox in Oakland.

OMG this place is amazing and work miracles up on that 5th floor in 28 days! Not sure about having to be a celebrity or whatever that one post said unless they are talking about ghetto celebrities. Terry and the staff he gots up on the 5th floor are the bombdigity trust and believe me on dat one fsho. They blessed me with my life back Dr Kayman is a blessing from above and I will be forever grateful for everyone of there all of them will be missed by me fsho. Just walked out that joint yesterday morning and it's the best thing that happened to me in my 47 years on this planet. All I can say is you better get you some if you need some treat yourself instead of beating yourself you heard me. MPI know I love you all forever!!!! All my special ones know who you are!!!!!!! Counselor Marjory (not sure of spelling sry!) Is the best! Always genuine and understanding and is a shining light for what God has done in her life and what he could do for mine ! I look forward to our sessions every week and hope one day to be half the woman and mother she is today thank you for everything

I’ve been to almost every clinic in the Bay Area as well as the valley BAART is by far the best clinic I’ve been to and has the most success my counselor is always available and most if not all staff are always there to support you in anyway they can . They also have a hilarious comedian that greets you as you enter.

My therapist literally saved my life. I wasn’t suicidal but would have become one if I hadn’t been seen at CHAC. His therapy really helped me see the light and I am thriving now. The best thing is how affordable my sessions were. I am forever grateful!

Good people very helpful. Was there when I was younger. Helped me out a lot. Im doing an update. Was younger when I made this. When I said this helped me out a lot I mean it seriously helped me. Traumatic past, abuse, as well as learning to grow and work past personal and mental issues. I would say if not for them I would not be who I am. So just wanted to thank Edgewood. Im engaged, got my career in order, am working towards buying land down south. Things are looking up. To any parents out there debating sending your kids to get help, obviously think it through; but if they need help, these are your people. Thank you, and again just thought this could add some much needed insight especially since I went through its system.

My daughter was discharged today after about five months of treatment. Her psychiatrist, Liz, was incredibly supportive, not only for my daughter, but for our family. She patiently met with us each week, guiding us through my daughter’s healing journey with care and dedication. Throughout this process, I learned so much about how to better support and communicate with my daughter. Our understanding of her has deepened, and it’s been a truly eye-opening experience for us. Liz and the other staff are professional and deeply committed to the well-being of their clients. I highly recommend this facility for any family seeking care and support for their adolescent.

This place is a good place for medical treatment. We come to ER for a lump check out and they found other things as well. And admitted to the hospital. The staff are very nice and friendly. A guy who maybe a nurse named Patrick Hane is very nice and professional. Treating patient well and with respect. Helped whenever he could. Thank you!

I experienced excellent treatment at El Camino Health. My surgeon and her staff provided superb care in my pre-op appointments, the quadruple bypass surgery and after visits. The hospital provided equal care in my treatment during my surgery and stay. All services were easy to set up & all testing was completed quickly. Post surgery staff were helpful in making my stay as comfortable as possible. I also owe a lot to the staff for getting me up and moving, which helped in my progress to health!

I have to Courtesy dose at this Capp location. From day one everyone has been so nice starting with the front desk young lady Holly, but the dosing nurse is just as great. Its been almost 6 months and truthfully if I do land a permanent job in SSF I'd be happy to continue service's with fort help!

There isn't a day that goes by that i don't either think about, tell of my experience or thank God for allowing myself the restoration in my life that I have today. I was a student with TEEN CHALLENGE in 2019 and am beyond proud to say that I am 5 years sober today and have the best and brightest life because of my experience in the program. If you are ready to make the change for yourself and your family, this is the place for you. Please find strength in yourself and/or the ones you love and make the change today and receive the help they offer with open arms and open hearts. ❤️

I've been volunteering at the San Jose Women's Center for the last seven years. I'm humbled by the work God is doing within this incredible organization. I'm usually there twice a month and able to meet their students and work with the staff. In doing so, I've been able to get to know many of them. They've shared heart breaking stories of the bad habits which have nearly destroyed their lives. However, if they can survive the first few months (the hardest part of the program!) their spiritual souls are revived and they begin to live in hope with a new perspective that transforms their minds to overcome the addictions which have chained them. It's hard to explain, but each time I visit and get an update from them, I can see the power of God at work. It's what keeps bringing me back to serve so I can witness the miracles and encourage these ladies not to give up. If they can hang in there, Teen Challenge will teach them not only what they need to survive, but to thrive in a life after addiction. Every year I return to their annual Galas and am reunited with former students who update me on their successes and how grateful they are for staying the course and trusting God through the process. Our Lord has rewarded them, and often times they tell me that they thought they knew who God was when they entered, but during the course of the program they truly find Him and their life hasn't been the same since! I have no idea how the staff has the capacity to love, extend grace, share their wisdom, and encourage so many women with all that happens at this center; but it's inspiring to know that they can do it with the help of God. When I come across difficult situations in my own life, I just remember the tough love and grace of God from the Teen Challenge staff members and I try emulate the same with the people I encounter. Life in the Center isn't easy, but the year commitment to the program is worth it. I've witnessed it on a regular basis and I thank God this program exists to help those overcoming addictions, and for those of us who want to volunteer and make the world a better place. It takes faith and discipline to succeed, but Teen Challenge has the love and patience to see you through. I highly recommend this organization over many of the other rehab places who have a far less success rate.

Alum Rock Women and Children's center was everything I didn't know I needed. The love and support that I received from the staff was by far life changing. I would recommend Alum Rock not only to women who struggle with addiction, but to anyone that needs to bring balance back in there life.

i dont know if this will be seen by anyone working there (hopefully osiris is). my names evan fredette and i went to the newport academy Pleasanton location 4+ years back and had my contact info changed. im just posting this so hopefully whoever runs this can forward this to osiris or whoever is running the house now, because i would love to come see the house an everyone again :) very positive experience, very good energy and very good people.

I came hear a few years ago and I owe a personal apology to the staff and manager here. I forgot his name now but I hope he still works here. I was very confused and angry when I got there. I felt like I was being punished, for not doing enough to stay safe, for not being able to handle my shame and trauma, for telling the truth to my therapist and for her making me go to a residentiali. The first place because of that. I felt like all my privileges were being taken away, unfairly. I convinced my mom to take me out of there, but the truth is, I really did need the help there. I went to more residentials after that and I noticed that this one had the best resources for me. I lost the opportunity to get better once I left. The staff were wonderful and understanding even when I was being, in my own words, honestly annoying. I hope they remember me, I hope they see this and know that they're doing amazing work, I hope you know I'm sorry. I am a lot better now, after 2 years of going in and out of therapy, in patient and out, and life or death situations. Things could've been different if I stayed. Still im grateful for coming here in the first place. Thank you.

If your are looking for luxury..Well the place is a beneficial oasis for one with substance abuse issues..Excellent transition point for maintained recovery .The staff are careing Human being.I cannot thank them enough...I completed went in a chump left a champ.....

Great place with resources for the community. Need a referral to get started but they can help you get back to a decent life if you you struggle with addiction and housing instability. They truly care

Highly recommended. Very grateful, outgoing, down to earth and patient with you. That's just my point of view. Great Place really helped me.... Wonderful staff and management. Ann rocks and is the backbone of the place and she has an awesome team of very professional caring people.
