We sent our daughter to Spruce several years ago. At the time she was struggling with her mental health and we were at a loss on how to best help her through this difficult process. We had several years of ups and downs, she was not making any significant process and was struggling on a daily basis. Things started to change at Spruce. We noticed a our daughter was more engaged, more willing to talk and started to become happy again. This has been a very long process but we feel that Spruce gave us a solid foundation upon which to move forward. My daughter is currently a college senior, graduating next semester, living independently, and successful. She made life long friends at Spruce and we are very grateful for the staff and leadership.

Went march-april of 2019 fresh out of 6 month jail bid. Couldn't ask for a better group of people all around. I was genuinely accepted and treated with dignity by both residents and staff. 28 days flew by and I was reminded of how |enjoyable life can still be even if you are sober. They let us smoke cigarettes on the patio outside and the food was outstanding and many times restaurant quality. I'll always have fond memories of this place. I can only hope that those that I met there are winning their battle with addiction or at the very least not giving up. They were all good souls that deserve happiness just as much as anyone else.

This place quite literally saved my life. I struggled for many years with substance abuse. I tried for several years to get clean on my own but was never successful. I have nothing but great things to say about the Plymouth House if you are serious about wanting to heal yourself. Detox and Rehab are never an easy decision. You know that you want to better yourself but the process is never an easy one. The staff and clinicians at PH are very understanding non judgemental. Some have been in the trenches at times which makes the care and help they offer much easier. The food is great and they are truly genuine across the board not to mention you couldn't ask for a more tranquil environment to heal yourself. No better place to assist you on your journey to recovery

I used to visit the St Johnsbury location and I miss those ladies so much.. BUT, the ladies at the Newport location have been so wonderful and welcoming!! Which is why I stick with Savida, at the end of the day, even though it's a much further drive now.. And through the heights in the winter, it can be super tricky.. But it is WORTH IT!! My provider Shauna is THE BEST.. And I sincerely believe that they have been a huge part in my continued sobriety over the last 13 years.. It is VERY obvious that they really care about helping people!! Thank you to everyone at Savida!! I will always recommend you ✌🏽❤️😊

Valley Vista in Bradford, VT is a beautiful place. I attended I'd say 8 years ago but I was not mature enough to appreciate it then. I appreciate it now. It is a clean, safe facility with helpful and kind staff. When I was there they treated dual diagnosis, which I believe is a must to truly comprehend the main cause of addiction. Vermont's beautiful scenery helps as well. I remember they had great food as well, plenty of whole foods and cakes if you like processed sweets. I believe Vermont is best for farm fresh overall.
I have since grew stronger in my faith and I give glory to God for putting me in recovery, but I admire the peer specialists and professional workers of Valley Vista. It is a great place for the underprivileged to afford. Thank you!

The staff are caring and supportive and hard working. They put in many long hours Doing a job that not many people could do. Getting clean is one of the hardest things to do and they’re there to help you every step of the way from the moment you enter the door to when you leave not only will they give you the toolsyou need to succeed, but they will also set you up so that you can continue your sobriety afterwards. The employees that are currently providing services to those who request it, i believe are about diligence, and take pride in assisting and helping a person find out and learn about themselves in a new way, help to set up a plan for sobriety that works for each individual's needs. I personally find this place has a kind and caring staff,which is what some need at the point in life when they decide to be clean and sober. To start living life again! Averte clinical staff are kind, compassionate and responsive. They truly care about the people in need of their services as well as their family members. As soon as I reached out for help, Steve called me within an hour and then was planning a visit within days to assess the situation (which was a 2.5+ hour drive). The team wraps their services around the person in need until they are stable. Amy, the Clinical Program Coordinator even took time from her vacation to talk to me prior to my family members discharge. That kind of support is invaluable during a time of crisis stabilization and the level of support is reassuring for everyone involved. One should never hesitate to reach out for help and if you are lucky, the help will come from Averte.

Maple Leaf Farms has been the ONLY rehab facility I've been in that I can't speak highly enough about!! The staff is so caring and genuinely is concerned about each patient and their individual needs. I made the decision to commit myself to their care in the winter or 2005. I'd been through the gambit of these types of facilities more times than i can remember, I didn't hold great expectations as i wasn't fully certain that they could tell me something I didn't already know or hadn't already heard. i was from Connecticut, released from Niantic womans' prison into the custody of a family member, who lived in Vermont. I wasn't remanded to complete a rehab. but in order to start to get my teenage daughter back in my life I agreed to do what they wanted. I never experienced such a verity of approaches to ease the discomfort of withdrawing from these hideous drugs! I was blown away that the curriculum my counselor had designed for me was working. Mostly in that I had fun going about my day with the other patients, people that where "like me" and we picked each other up off the floor when things got hard. Because if You don't find yourself experiencing uncomfortable feelings then you should take a better look at the facility your in!! It takes work , and Maplel Leaf made sure that when we worked hard we relaxed hard too!! Hands down BEST FACILITY YOU COULD EVER BE BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE IN!!! P.S. My daughter started at Davenport may, 2019. When my daughter first went to Davenport she was in poor health, and didn't do well in school. She also had a very hard time at home. Since she has been at Davenport, her health is great, awesome grades in school, home visits aare pleasant and follows through with counseling and she actually listens to mom and dad. She loves her counselor and equine therapy. She is also getting life skills. My daughter was a hard kid, since she's been at Davenport she's kind and caring.
