Lund helped my husband and I find the greatest gift in life and that was a child, a precious little girl who is now 22 and has started the process of adopting her first foster son. Lund didn’t stop caring about our family after the adoption was final. Wanda has been part of our lives in one way or another. She was here for my daughter when she needed references for work, she was here when she started Fostering and the babies were reunited with their birth families. I agree with the reviewers that said that the prescription refill portion of Bedford counseling is HORRIBLE!!! I don't see my doctor more than twice a year, and was told to call to have my rxs filled when needed. This is the 3rd time in a year and a half that my anxiety has gone up so much because of the lack of effort by the staff at B.C.. I've used the refill phone number, have spoken directly to people and have had my pharmacy call them. Thankfully I knew this was going to happen again this time, so I refilled on Tuesday, hoping to pick up on Saturday. When I went into the pharmacy the nice lady said that they were still waiting on the doctor to call back. So annoyed !!!

don’t send ur kid here unless u want them to have more trauma. the guide staff that was with us in the woods were not licensed by the state. the “teachers” barely knew anything and we did online school. most of the guides would power trip us and threathen by saying “u will be here longer”. we had to hike for miles in subfreezing temps high wind speeds snow rain everything i was bullied for being gay and the staff did absolutely nothing. don’t send ur kid here it is a waste of money and will traumatize them. edit: also some staff would talk about past patients who where there before my time and would tell stories about them(against federal law).

Just moved to Keene, but so far I have found the staff at CMC very friendly and competent. It is a busy place for sure, but there’s a great vibe in the lab and things move very quickly. I’m of the mind that the American medical system is broken. That is the fault of politicians, certain segments of the U.S. population, and greedy Pharma. I try not to take out my frustrations on my fellow citizens just trying to do a good job. Let’s all be mindful and generous of spirit and make our opinions known at the ballot box!

My son completed the Summit achievement program. He’s turned out to be an incredible young man. I can say 100% without a doubt that he and we as a family may not even exist today without the help of the Summit Achievement family. My wife and our therapist were pushing hard and I was skeptical at first. However, this program and the incredible team changed the trajectory of our lives together. The people here have absolutely horrid grammar. The only good thing about this place was the deck swap card in uno and the weetabix... unfortunately, King Jessica/Julian would limit my eating habits.
In all seriousness, when I first got to Brattleboro I was extremely nervous from the reviews I saw online being majorly negative (which then became an ongoing joke between me, my peers, and the staff - hence the beginning). That being said, for me, I found my stay there to be helpful and a good life experience to know that there's always someone who'll be there, even if you don't know them. I had lots of fun and made friends I'm still in contact with today. The staff is wonderful and only wants to help you, but I know this could be very different for other people going in there. So if you're like me, reading reviews as you drive over, just know that the living there can be hard and sometimes the kitchen will forget you ordered a grilled cheese, but you're there to get help and the staff is there to give you help so if you're cooperative, going to groups, and working on improvement - you're undeniably going to get better. Yes, some of the reviews are right and it can be a little scary to watch people be restrained, but you need to focus on yourself there.

The staff were amazing, it was difficult with the forced isolation and strict rules but after a while I realized it was necessary. Forced quiet when I couldn’t quiet myself. Caring and compassionate I needed them and proud to say I’m an Ally (LGBTQIA+)
One suggestion PLEASE ! Have everyone sign a release of info to their PCP right off on the day of discharge. Get the process started because it is a long and broken system to navigate and this will shorten it. It’s the patient who suffers from the 30 days plus process and the communication and paperwork that it takes for the two to talk to each other. It’s just one less thing we have to remember or concentrate on while trying to get back into the world again.

I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I didn’t get it right the first time so I’ve been there twice over the course of 5 years but both times I’ve been there all of the staff were all very helpful and caring. Healing Springs is a welcoming recovery community resource center serving those in recovery, substance users seeking recovery, and family dealing with loved ones with substance-use problems and issues.
The center offers a plethora of programs for those in recovery including 12-steps (AA, NA, MA, OA, CODA), All Recovery, and Refuge Recovery. I can’t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! The experience I had at the Riverbank House changed my life forever in so many ways. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn’t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. I am grateful for every single me ever of the Riverbank brotherhood that I got to know during my time there, even that guy with the red beard.

Nice little clinic. The people are kind and helpful. This is the longest I’ve been able to be stable in my sobriety. My counselor is intelligent, helpful and caring. He’s open to receive any phone calls anytime I need help or have questions. The nursing staff is nice too. It’s just been a pleasant experience all the way around. I’ve been there for over two years. The program works if you work it. Just like with any other program out there, you have to put the effort in. No one can do it for you. Depending on your insurance you may be able to get a taxi ride to the clinic each day. No matter where you live. Do not let negative reviews sway you from making the decision to get clean. You can do this. These people can help. Everything they do is for the purpose of getting you clean. I know many people who have gained remission from addiction with the help of metro, including myself. When its a life or death decision, choose life.

hi!! i'm 16 years old and spent 4 months at cedc concord. i know my parents were terrified to send me somewhere but when it came to the point where there wasn't a choice, i am so grateful that cedc is where i ended up. i can't put into words how much it helped me. it genuinely felt like a safe environment with the staff, clients, group rooms, and kitchens. none of me thought recovery was possible, all of me had accepted that my ed was my fate. cedc saved me, my family, and gave me a future. everyone was so patient and kind during a beyond distressing time. the meal counselor would sit with me as i cried and talk about taylor swift to distract me. despite the hell we were all going through we laughed so much and had actual fun and i made friends i know i'll always have. i cried probably everyday i was there, but on my last day it wasn't because of my ed. it was because i was going to miss these people (both the staff and other clients included) i had come to love so much. no matter what people tell you full recovery is possible and after going to cedc i have hope that i'll reach it eventually. i can't recommend this program enough. <3

I give CEDC a five star rating. But don't make the mistake of thinking that you will be happy when a family member goes there. When you go through the treatment process, you will be alone, confused, helpless, frustrated and unhappy. However, what you need to know is that these difficulties are part of recovery. One of the best days in your son's or daugter's life may be the day you enroll him or her in the residential treatment program at CEDC.

Went march-april of 2019 fresh out of 6 month jail bid. Couldn't ask for a better group of people all around. I was genuinely accepted and treated with dignity by both residents and staff. 28 days flew by and I was reminded of how |enjoyable life can still be even if you are sober. They let us smoke cigarettes on the patio outside and the food was outstanding and many times restaurant quality. I'll always have fond memories of this place. I can only hope that those that I met there are winning their battle with addiction or at the very least not giving up. They were all good souls that deserve happiness just as much as anyone else.
