The employees that are currently providing services to those who request it, i believe are about diligence, and take pride in assisting and helping a person find out and learn about themselves in a new way, help to set up a plan for sobriety that works for each individual's needs. I personally find this place has a kind and caring staff,which is what some need at the point in life when they decide to be clean and sober. To start living life again! The counselors there must feel a tremendous sense of responsibility,and i feel deserve to be appreciated for all of their hard work and invested time and emotions involved. I personally thank all of you...and of course the wonderfully friendly,caring nurses.

Only been there once and spoke with the nurse to begin receiving services here. They seem to listen and are super nice. I will add to this after my PCP appointment.

After getting out of the Marine Corps I heard that the VA is extremely difficult to deal with. This has not been my experience here at all. The staff and Dr's care and help get me the appointments needed.
BAART (St. J) and the it's staff have been a positive and true blessing for me, my family, and my recovery journey. I am eternally grateful for them in helping me to get back on my feet and becoming a productive member of the community. I've had naught but pos. experience at BAART(St.J)even tho. I'm what u might call "part-time" ...U see I use the clinic in Burlington,tho I live very close too St.J.
When needed tho,in "special "circumstances,like call-backs or severe weather etc.

Status,servicing me on these occasions when a missed dose or lab could prove to be a total failure and end of my program.So with actions such as these in mind, I've no

I stayed here in the 90’s and it was life changing for me. I can see a lot has changed, but the program’s mission remains the same. I am now a therapist myself, and I have never forgotten how SMI helped me through one of the hardest times in my life! I highly recommend for those motivated to do the work necessary to overcome their MH challenges. I never regretted the time I spent here! When I left, I was totally prepared for the world and a long career of helping others like me!

I've worked professionally with Spruce Mountain Inn for several years and have visited the program on several occasions. I'm always impressed by how clean and beautiful the physical plant is, and I'm even more impressed by the clinicians and staff. I highly recommend Spruce Mountain Inn for anyone seeking residential support for young adults struggling with their mental health.

We sent our daughter to Spruce several years ago. At the time she was struggling with her mental health and we were at a loss on how to best help her through this difficult process. We had several years of ups and downs, she was not making any significant process and was struggling on a daily basis. Things started to change at Spruce. We noticed a our daughter was more engaged, more willing to talk and started to become happy again. This has been a very long process but we feel that Spruce gave us a solid foundation upon which to move forward. My daughter is currently a college senior, graduating next semester, living independently, and successful. She made life long friends at Spruce and we are very grateful for the staff and leadership.

Wow, I was reading the very few reviews. Rules are rules..You get the leaflet/package when you first start the Process at Baart. You can travel,visit family in a different state which I have done many a time. There are proper channels you must go thru to get approved. You first talk to your immediate assigned Counselor. Then they review your record/UA's,Attendance..If I am not mistaken Dr. Brooklyn has the final OK. Then no problem. I am 100% Positive YOU DO NOT GET CALL BACKS when You do the Proper steps which are clearly outlined in the Agreement You/We signed from the beginning. I have been with Baart since 2015 transferred to St. Albans in 2017, I have a 100% perfect clean record/file. You/I do not get special treatment because of this. Yes it counts for alot. But rules are rules you want to be away even for 2 days and went thru the correct process YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET A CALL BACK (Guaranteed))) So all you people that cry and try and lay blame on the Awesome Counselors at St. Albans Clinic need to get a grip. It is quite a simple process.. This Program has saved my Life PERIOD... I travel wherever and when ever I need to,,,,but The rules require at least 2 weeks if I remember correctly.... before said trip to dot all the I's and cross all the T's..to get your doses approved and ready to travel with you.....I mean come on to complain about this is a totally ridiculous waste of every ones time..I laugh to myself when I see supposed grown adults act like they are in Grade School...But it's all good their are many people on a waiting list to take your place that will be thankful as I am for getting this chance to Live and Fly right...No Cry Babies Needed,lol, lol......

Maple Leaf Farms has been the ONLY rehab facility I've been in that I can't speak highly enough about!! The staff is so caring and genuinely is concerned about each patient and their individual needs. I made the decision to commit myself to their care in the winter or 2005. I'd been through the gambit of these types of facilities more times than i can remember, I didn't hold great expectations as i wasn't fully certain that they could tell me something I didn't already know or hadn't already heard. i was from Connecticut, released from Niantic womans' prison into the custody of a family member, who lived in Vermont. I wasn't remanded to complete a rehab. but in order to start to get my teenage daughter back in my life I agreed to do what they wanted. I never experienced such a verity of approaches to ease the discomfort of withdrawing from these hideous drugs! I was blown away that the curriculum my counselor had designed for me was working. Mostly in that I had fun going about my day with the other patients, people that where "like me" and we picked each other up off the floor when things got hard. Because if You don't find yourself experiencing uncomfortable feelings then you should take a better look at the facility your in!! It takes work , and Maplel Leaf made sure that when we worked hard we relaxed hard too!! Hands down BEST FACILITY YOU COULD EVER BE BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE IN!!! P.S. I went here almost ten years ago, but I still have a good impression of this place. They had had a good and caring staff that really worked well with the clients.
First, I see the same guy gave a 5-star, then later 1-star review. As a place that deals with addicts, by nature those who don’t follow the rules is gonna be angry. Not saying that’s what happened, but it makes sense.
Anyway, best place around. I had the best counselor for years here and my doctor now works here, Dr. White, and she is AMAZING. Her entire staff is great. I can’t say enough good things. Love you guys, thanks for teaching me how to live.

Helpful staff on the phone that walked me through setting up first appointment. They also helped me navigate the telehealth app. Provider I was assigned has been helpful, explains the process, and treats the person as a whole being and not just another number.

I can’t say enough about how incredible The Plymouth House is. I spent 6 days in detox and 24 days in the Residential program, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation I had.
Having a full detox program with real clinicians on site was a game changer for me. The staff paid close attention to each guest’s needs, mine included, and that level of care truly made all the difference. From leadership to support staff, everyone was approachable, supportive, and fully present. They always made time when I needed it, which meant a lot during such a tough chapter of my life.
The team approach, Case Management, a Therapist, and a 12-Step resource dedicated specifically to me had a huge impact. Their focus on the Little Big Book really grounded the whole program and helped me find direction again.
The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious, and the food… unbelievable. Every meal felt thoughtful and genuinely nourishing.
Today I’m 50 days sober, with a sponsor and a renewed sense of control and hope. My life is becoming manageable again thanks to The Plymouth House. I am truly grateful for what this place gave me.
I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone seeking help—whether it’s your first time or not. If you’re willing to make a change, The Plymouth House will absolutely change your life.

It’s very hard for me to put into words the amount of appreciation i have towards the Plymouth House.Ive struggled with addiction for 30 plus years and unfortunately been in many treatment centers.It wasn’t until i arrived and went through the process here that i finally got it.The Plymouth house has a unique way of driving the message home.Its with how they expose the spiritual side of things as well as working the the 12 steps.Then you add into the mix of the faculty…From top to bottom the dedication they have with the guest is unmatchable..Its doesn’t take long to realize how much they really do care.
For anything one struggling with substance abuse or alcoholism I highly recommend trying out the mountain! This place saved my life! FOREVER GRATEFUL!!

My experience at Green Mountain treatment centers was absolutely incredible, I had been searching for the right place to finally conquer this monster inside me for a very long time. From the very star green Mountain was just what I needed and all aspects as far as guidelines support And the tools to be successful afterwards. Since graduating the program, I have been very involved in the alumni program which shockingly extends just as far As the Php program does, which is rare at most treatment centers once you leave it’s over but I have stayed connected Thankfully, to the alumni program. I love green Mountain and everything it did for me.

Aside from the incredible view, the mountain is full of beauty. There is beauty in the way the staff makes you feel comforted and welcome, the community that surrounds you and the solution being shared- a solution to find the light again. I found peace, love and support here. I am so grateful for this place and I 10/10 recommend reaching them if you need help!

My son completed the Summit achievement program. He’s turned out to be an incredible young man. I can say 100% without a doubt that he and we as a family may not even exist today without the help of the Summit Achievement family. My wife and our therapist were pushing hard and I was skeptical at first. However, this program and the incredible team changed the trajectory of our lives together. I am confident when I say we could not have survived without this program. Don’t hesitate like I did! Eternally grateful to the Summit family!

The River Rock program is incredible. The clinicians and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and passionate about what they do. I attended the IOP program a year ago. My experience there was so impactful on my overall wellbeing. I now work in mental health myself and confidently refer patients their way knowing they will be supported through their mental health and sobriety journey.

I want to add a personal review of River Rock under my name because I’m truly happy of the program and what it has done for my family. I don’t necessarily identify as being an alcoholic but used substances as a way to cope with bad times. Through the intensive outpatient therapy program River Rock provides I was able to gain a clear understanding of how to navigate problems at home. I went through the process a few years ago and then my husband felt compelled (thankfully) to do so after. Since then, we’ve been able to navigate life in a more healthy manner. They use a multi-faceted approach of different therapies including CBT, DBT, life coaching, adventure therapy, group sessions and one-on-one therapy to make sure that people get the help they need! We’ve been able to create a more holistic life that benefits us and use the tools given to get through hard times. We are more connected and practice self care including cold plunges and are building a space to install a sauna at home. Communication is better, my husband has been alcohol free for over a year and a half and we are able to navigate life much better. If you are questioning getting help in any capacity, I would recommend at least reaching out to River Rock. There is no shame in wanting to take steps to achieving a more healthy outlook on life.
