Maple Leaf Farms has been the ONLY rehab facility I've been in that I can't speak highly enough about!! The staff is so caring and genuinely is concerned about each patient and their individual needs. I made the decision to commit myself to their care in the winter or 2005. I'd been through the gambit of these types of facilities more times than i can remember, I didn't hold great expectations as i wasn't fully certain that they could tell me something I didn't already know or hadn't already heard. i was from Connecticut, released from Niantic womans' prison into the custody of a family member, who lived in Vermont. I wasn't remanded to complete a rehab. but in order to start to get my teenage daughter back in my life I agreed to do what they wanted. I never experienced such a verity of approaches to ease the discomfort of withdrawing from these hideous drugs! I was blown away that the curriculum my counselor had designed for me was working. Mostly in that I had fun going about my day with the other patients, people that where "like me" and we picked each other up off the floor when things got hard. Because if You don't find yourself experiencing uncomfortable feelings then you should take a better look at the facility your in!! It takes work , and Maplel Leaf made sure that when we worked hard we relaxed hard too!! Hands down BEST FACILITY YOU COULD EVER BE BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE IN!!! P.S. First, I see the same guy gave a 5-star, then later 1-star review. As a place that deals with addicts, by nature those who don’t follow the rules is gonna be angry. Not saying that’s what happened, but it makes sense.
Anyway, best place around. I had the best counselor for years here and my doctor now works here, Dr. White, and she is AMAZING. Her entire staff is great. I can’t say enough good things. Love you guys, thanks for teaching me how to live.

The employees that are currently providing services to those who request it, i believe are about diligence, and take pride in assisting and helping a person find out and learn about themselves in a new way, help to set up a plan for sobriety that works for each individual's needs. I personally find this place has a kind and caring staff,which is what some need at the point in life when they decide to be clean and sober. To start living life again! The counselors there must feel a tremendous sense of responsibility,and i feel deserve to be appreciated for all of their hard work and invested time and emotions involved. Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". So super thanks to all staff for all that you guys do each and everyday..

River Rock is a special place to be part of, show up at and grow within. I lived the Adventure Recovery programs held regularly. The staff is awesome and the space is gorgeous. If you have decided you want what many of us got then check out RR. Go all in, stay long enough and build your new life plan. I miss being there. 5Stars. Snacks are good also. For more than a decade, I’ve struggled with addiction and the challenges of long-term sobriety/recovery. After my last 30-day stay at a residential program, I was scared as hell but willing to try something/anything new. I feel so incredibly fortunate that I found River Rock. Very helpful and accommodating. Ive been a client for over 10 years with no major issues. When any type of issue or situation has occurred it was caused by my own choices. Even when I made poor choices, as long as I'm honest about things they have always been understanding and willing to work with me, to get me back on track with my recovery. I would absolutely recommend connifer to anyone who's serious about there recovery or if they think they want to get clean connifer is a great place to start.

I entered VA Lakeside Clinic at 0801, left at 0821 with small piece of debris removed from my shooting eye. It's been there for 72h and sir O'Brian, Joe removed it within minutes. Please note, this was walk in, last minute visit as I had next appointment in St Albans at 0930.
For those who complain about federal health care , especially about Burlington VA Lakeside Clinic, please come to Germany for 1/2year and see for yourself how lucky we are being US Army Soldiers and Veterans, it takes months for someone to even talk to you, yet alone to be seen! I storngly recommend this location to all service members and their families!

In the last 20 years I’ve seen numerous VA hospitals and clinics. This is by far the best!!! The employees care about the well being of veterans. Wonderful people here who really give a shit. Top notch!!!! Thank you to everyone at the Burlington Lakeside VA Clinic.

I go here off and on, it is a place to meet others, share a meal and join in on adventures. Adventures include group movie nights, trips to Maine, camping in Grand Isle, and various other places in Vermont. There are overnight trips and day trips, all of these events provide transportation from, and back to Westview. Evening trips deliver you to your home. Holidays are celebrated, with special meals. Art happens too, all supplies are provided. At noon each day a meal is served .
