Wow, I was reading the very few reviews. Rules are rules..You get the leaflet/package when you first start the Process at Baart. You can travel,visit family in a different state which I have done many a time. There are proper channels you must go thru to get approved. You first talk to your immediate assigned Counselor. Then they review your record/UA's,Attendance..If I am not mistaken Dr. Brooklyn has the final OK. Then no problem. I am 100% Positive YOU DO NOT GET CALL BACKS when You do the Proper steps which are clearly outlined in the Agreement You/We signed from the beginning. I have been with Baart since 2015 transferred to St. Albans in 2017, I have a 100% perfect clean record/file. You/I do not get special treatment because of this. Yes it counts for alot. But rules are rules you want to be away even for 2 days and went thru the correct process YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET A CALL BACK (Guaranteed))) So all you people that cry and try and lay blame on the Awesome Counselors at St. Albans Clinic need to get a grip. It is quite a simple process.. This Program has saved my Life PERIOD... I travel wherever and when ever I need to,,,,but The rules require at least 2 weeks if I remember correctly.... before said trip to dot all the I's and cross all the T's..to get your doses approved and ready to travel with you.....I mean come on to complain about this is a totally ridiculous waste of every ones time..I laugh to myself when I see supposed grown adults act like they are in Grade School...But it's all good their are many people on a waiting list to take your place that will be thankful as I am for getting this chance to Live and Fly right...No Cry Babies Needed,lol, lol......

Maple Leaf Farms has been the ONLY rehab facility I've been in that I can't speak highly enough about!! The staff is so caring and genuinely is concerned about each patient and their individual needs. I made the decision to commit myself to their care in the winter or 2005. I'd been through the gambit of these types of facilities more times than i can remember, I didn't hold great expectations as i wasn't fully certain that they could tell me something I didn't already know or hadn't already heard. i was from Connecticut, released from Niantic womans' prison into the custody of a family member, who lived in Vermont. I wasn't remanded to complete a rehab. but in order to start to get my teenage daughter back in my life I agreed to do what they wanted. I never experienced such a verity of approaches to ease the discomfort of withdrawing from these hideous drugs! I was blown away that the curriculum my counselor had designed for me was working. Mostly in that I had fun going about my day with the other patients, people that where "like me" and we picked each other up off the floor when things got hard. Because if You don't find yourself experiencing uncomfortable feelings then you should take a better look at the facility your in!! It takes work , and Maplel Leaf made sure that when we worked hard we relaxed hard too!! Hands down BEST FACILITY YOU COULD EVER BE BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE IN!!! P.S. First, I see the same guy gave a 5-star, then later 1-star review. As a place that deals with addicts, by nature those who don t follow the rules is gonna be angry. Not saying that s what happened, but it makes sense.Anyway, best place around. I had the best counselor for years here and my doctor now works here, Dr. White, and she is AMAZING. I hesitated for a while now with the change of my PCP. He was a extremely compassionate and an amazing family doctor. When he got done and replaced with the PA the first time I met him I got the impression that he was more of a PA that shouldn't be a family Dr , instead someone who works at the barrt clinic where it's a quick in and out appointment for the patient and he doesn't have to do a lot of work. Anyway I finally switched to Savita and I am extremely happy with the service and kindness I receive, the credit they gave me for where I am in life today.

Forgive the lengthy review, but even finding a fraction of what I found here at River Rock could change the trajectory of your life.I am incredibly grateful for the team at River Rock and the novel, individualized whole human approach they take. They teach a variety of therapeutic modalities that address different aspects of a person. For instance, CBT helped me better cope with my thoughts and reduce negative thinking patterns, while DBT improved my emotional regulation, coping skills, and interpersonal relationships. IFS gave me a deeper understanding of myself, and somatic trauma therapy allowed me to address trauma stored in my body through the autonomic nervous system, helping me reprocess the emotional response tied to it.Beyond therapy, River Rock emphasizes essential aspects of life, such as evidence-based practices to change habits and improve sleep, nutrition, exercise, adventure-based recovery, breath work, and encourages exposure to outside recovery communities. Their approach is not one-size-fits-all because everyone s recovery is unique. What I was curious about and what worked for me might not be the same thing that will work for someone else, and the team at River Rock respects and nurtures this individuality. Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". First of all I got to say I had a very good experience up to this point and hopefully continue a great experience with everyone here in the three months that I have been here. This team has been great and have gone way above and beyond . I also can compare from the clinic in Orlando that I was in beforehand . I agree 100 percent with the comment that the entire system sucks. It sure does but understand that there are federal guidelines they must abide by. Sometimes believe it or not when you screw up the system is not in your favor. However, thankfully I haven't screwed up. I've overcome many obstacles to work the system in my behalf. There is much help from this caring staff when you try on your part. Thank you for going way above and beyond Jen, Robin, Dr. Carteli, Erin, all the beautiful ladies at the front desk, and nurses! Seriously, I could not have come this far without and look forward to your help moving forward. Thank you so much! The help that you receive here is life changing and you can get the support that you need on your journey to sobriety. I stayed here in the 90 s and it was life changing for me. I can see a lot has changed, but the program s mission remains the same. We sent our daughter to Spruce several years ago. At the time she was struggling with her mental health and we were at a loss on how to best help her through this difficult process. We had several years of ups and downs, she was not making any significant process and was struggling on a daily basis. Things started to change at Spruce. We noticed a our daughter was more engaged, more willing to talk and started to become happy again. This has been a very long process but we feel that Spruce gave us a solid foundation upon which to move forward. My daughter is currently a college senior, graduating next semester, living independently, and successful. She made life long friends at Spruce and we are very grateful for the staff and leadership.
