River Rock is a special place to be part of, show up at and grow within. I lived the Adventure Recovery programs held regularly. The staff is awesome and the space is gorgeous. If you have decided you want what many of us got then check out RR. Go all in, stay long enough and build your new life plan. I miss being there. 5Stars. Snacks are good also. For more than a decade, I’ve struggled with addiction and the challenges of long-term sobriety/recovery. After my last 30-day stay at a residential program, I was scared as hell but willing to try something/anything new. I feel so incredibly fortunate that I found River Rock. The staff, the content/program and the people like me doing the work in recovery has been transformative for my life. Sincerely love you guys.

When I finished inpatient rehab at Bayside Marin, I didn’t think I needed intensive outpatient treatment. Fortunately, I took the advice of the discharging coordinators and decided to attend River Rock IOP. I learned so much about trauma, mindfulness, behavioral cognitive therapy and from the life experiences of my classmates. I attended outpatient treatment at River Rock for two years, only “graduating “ when I moved out of state. The experience I have had at River Rock has changed my life in very profound ways. I have accepted that I get to and must continue growing in life skills and making healthy decisions. I wish all individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges could experience the caring community at River Rock.

Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". So super thanks to all staff for all that you guys do each and everyday..

I entered VA Lakeside Clinic at 0801, left at 0821 with small piece of debris removed from my shooting eye. It's been there for 72h and sir O'Brian, Joe removed it within minutes. Please note, this was walk in, last minute visit as I had next appointment in St Albans at 0930. For those who complain about federal health care , especially about Burlington VA Lakeside Clinic, please come to Germany for 1/2year and see for yourself how lucky we are being US Army Soldiers and Veterans, it takes months for someone to even talk to you, yet alone to be seen! I storngly recommend this location to all service members and their families!

I go here off and on, it is a place to meet others, share a meal and join in on adventures. Adventures include group movie nights, trips to Maine, camping in Grand Isle, and various other places in Vermont. There are overnight trips and day trips, all of these events provide transportation from, and back to Westview. Evening trips deliver you to your home. Holidays are celebrated, with special meals. Art happens too, all supplies are provided. At noon each day a meal is served .

The Lund home saves lives and creates a much needed oversight for mothers struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. It’s a safe place to land while you are dealing with what I would consider the most crucial part of your recovery journey. Like with all services the client needs to be willing to dedicate themselves and it’s not an easy thing to do. I would suggest really researching the idea first and asking lots of questions from the staff before making a commitment. Each family has different needs and because it’s a big change you’d want to know what before taking the jump. Vermont is lucky to have this program available to our community.

Howard is stepping up to the plate where others are failing. Support this organization with everything you've got. It might be our last hope. COMMUNITY WARNING: A Level 1 Trauma Center in Burlington Vermont and the BPD are cooperating in a system that denies mental health treatment and Howard is taking over. A friend was escorted out by security after saying they were going to hurt themselves. The nurses said "this is not a hotel" and that the patient was too medically stable to be allowed to stay there (they claimed hospital and insurance policies). Upon calling the police and informing them of the situation, ON A RECORDED LINE: Question: "Can the hospital discharge a patient if they have said they are going to harm themselves?" It's a decent place had some of the staff were absolutely amazing my clinition was good to they helped me a bit and I feel a bit better after experiencing the program the bed was kinda hard tho but overall I really appreciate what they did for me and my family so if ur struggling with mental health I think NFI is a good choice they were also very careful about keeping info confidential so that was good to

If you put in the work, you can succeed with all the tools given to you in this program. Every day is a little different, but the information taught and workbooks are great. There are plenty of breaks as well. Seneca Center has a well put together program and kind, caring and professional staff. Confidentiality was a top priority which was appreciated. I cannot recommend this program enough!

Best program ever! I actually felt heard and seen by all the staff and even the others attending the program. I will recommend this place to anyone that needs the support. They helped me realize I have ADHD and start the proper medicine to manage that, my anxiety, and depression and also teach me skills to use to help as well and made me realize the type of care I need moving forward.

I had a pretty good experience here! I loved all of the floor staff, the only person I didn’t like was my clinician, but that might be because I just feel uncomfortable around men. He also said I was passing notes when I wasn’t but whatever. You can’t keep in contact with your friends from here for some reason but the program itself is pretty good, the rooms are nice but the mattresses are a little hard. It’s a beautiful house though.
