I was mandated here 35 years ago by the court. It wasn't the end of my addictive behavior, but it certainly was the beginning of my healing journey. Thank you Father Tim for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. How many times does a person get to spend time in the Adirondack mountains with nothing to worry about but self discovery? I realize that's over simplified but you get out of this place, as in life, exactly what you put into it. Nothing is guaranteed. Don't carry baggage. Own yourself good and bad. People make mistakes, it's how you handle them that determines your future path. Cliches, yes. Also very true. I took a chance on myself in there, and although it wasn't the end of my use, it truly was the "OMG this isn't completely out of my control" moment where I was shown that the hard work of sobriety does pay off, but only if you are relentless in your pursuit. It's not about need or entitlement or how much money you have, it all boils down to HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT IT. I didn't fully realize that until I made many more mistakes but that doesn't have to be your journey. Oh, and by the way the food was absolutely incredible! Thank you again St Joseph's, and especially Father Tim!

I was in this Rehabilitation back in 2000 2001 and if it wasn't for st Joe's I wouldn't be where I am today the counselor I had I belive his name was John who has since passed and the counselor Dan and the staff was amazing I learned from my dark pass to live clean and sober and sure there rules are tough it not a play ground or a fake it to you make program it a rehab where you go to get you life straight and try to live life the way you were taught notby drugs no alcohol and our untrustworthy lifestyle we were living they helped me to be the person I am today thank you st Joe's for helping me to be who I am today and live life to the fullest

This is an excellent facility if you want to change your life for the better. The ciriculum is very strict and demanding. The facility is very clean and offers Excellent home cooked meals three times a day. The River Rock program is incredible. The clinicians and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and passionate about what they do. I attended the IOP program a year ago. My experience there was so impactful on my overall wellbeing. I now work in mental health myself and confidently refer patients their way knowing they will be supported through their mental health and sobriety journey.

Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". Very helpful and accommodating. Ive been a client for over 10 years with no major issues. When any type of issue or situation has occurred it was caused by my own choices. Even when I made poor choices, as long as I'm honest about things they have always been understanding and willing to work with me, to get me back on track with my recovery. I would absolutely recommend connifer to anyone who's serious about there recovery or if they think they want to get clean connifer is a great place to start.

For those who complain about federal health care , especially about Burlington VA Lakeside Clinic, please come to Germany for 1/2year and see for yourself how lucky we are being US Army Soldiers and Veterans, it takes months for someone to even talk to you, yet alone to be seen! I go here off and on, it is a place to meet others, share a meal and join in on adventures. Adventures include group movie nights, trips to Maine, camping in Grand Isle, and various other places in Vermont. There are overnight trips and day trips, all of these events provide transportation from, and back to Westview. Evening trips deliver you to your home. Holidays are celebrated, with special meals. Art happens too, all supplies are provided. At noon each day a meal is served .

Lund helped my husband and I find the greatest gift in life and that was a child, a precious little girl who is now 22 and has started the process of adopting her first foster son. Lund didn’t stop caring about our family after the adoption was final. Wanda has been part of our lives in one way or another. She was here for my daughter when she needed references for work, she was here when she started Fostering and the babies were reunited with their birth families. She always has comforting words when things are down and she has praises even things are going great. I started going to citizens back in early 2020, it's been 6 years now, they have been more than helpful, always accommodating my schedule and busy life (single mom of 4 who works full time) Dr Sani and Judy are amazing 👏🏻 they are so helpful and now are a part of my recovery journey. I love to see them. It's always a pleasant time going there. I used to be afraid of doctors and have so much anxiety but it feels like home now. A place to fit in! I reccomend anyone fighting with addiction to come join the team, be a part of something bigger, just be yourself. They accept you just the way you are, truly amazing staff, Sherry calls me the Friday before my upcoming appointments and reminds me, she's so funny and so easy going. Such a blessing having a great place and overall they have changed my mind on doctors offices. I've gotten better at my overall health because of them. I used to be filled with so much anxiety and so scared to face things head on, now it feels easy. That's how any doctors office should feel. It's a decent place had some of the staff were absolutely amazing my clinition was good to they helped me a bit and I feel a bit better after experiencing the program the bed was kinda hard tho but overall I really appreciate what they did for me and my family so if ur struggling with mental health I think NFI is a good choice they were also very careful about keeping info confidential so that was good to

Howard is stepping up to the plate where others are failing. Support this organization with everything you've got. It might be our last hope. COMMUNITY WARNING: A Level 1 Trauma Center in Burlington Vermont and the BPD are cooperating in a system that denies mental health treatment and Howard is taking over. A friend was escorted out by security after saying they were going to hurt themselves. The nurses said "this is not a hotel" and that the patient was too medically stable to be allowed to stay there (they claimed hospital and insurance policies). Upon calling the police and informing them of the situation, ON A RECORDED LINE: Question: "Can the hospital discharge a patient if they have said they are going to harm themselves?" PO: "That is their policy, there is nothing we can do." Howard Mental health is stepping in today, but be VERY careful out there with your mental health friends. The system is being rigged against us because we are expensive and give bad feelings. Everyone is safe for now but the system is failing. Be careful and stay safe.
