Although it’s a new facility, staff were kind, patient, and took the time to help me feel safe and comfortable despite stressors and navigating a new program. Counselors and the psych NP were thoughtful and helped give feedback I could take into consideration in my life and my own mental health treatment and recovery. I am totally impressed with the quality of care here in the North Country. I see the limitations of rural healthcare being improved by consolidation of services which help eliminate the costly duplication of services. The Level Three Trauma Center designation is a step in the right direction.
