I used to visit the St Johnsbury location and I miss those ladies so much.. BUT, the ladies at the Newport location have been so wonderful and welcoming!! Which is why I stick with Savida, at the end of the day, even though it's a much further drive now.. And through the heights in the winter, it can be super tricky.. But it is WORTH IT!! My provider Shauna is THE BEST.. And I sincerely believe that they have been a huge part in my continued sobriety over the last 13 years.. The employees that are currently providing services to those who request it, i believe are about diligence, and take pride in assisting and helping a person find out and learn about themselves in a new way, help to set up a plan for sobriety that works for each individual's needs. I personally find this place has a kind and caring staff,which is what some need at the point in life when they decide to be clean and sober. To start living life again! The counselors there must feel a tremendous sense of responsibility,and i feel deserve to be appreciated for all of their hard work and invested time and emotions involved. I personally thank all of you...and of course the wonderfully friendly,caring nurses.

Went march-april of 2019 fresh out of 6 month jail bid. Couldn't ask for a better group of people all around. I was genuinely accepted and treated with dignity by both residents and staff. 28 days flew by and I was reminded of how |enjoyable life can still be even if you are sober. They let us smoke cigarettes on the patio outside and the food was outstanding and many times restaurant quality. I'll always have fond memories of this place. I can only hope that those that I met there are winning their battle with addiction or at the very least not giving up. They were all good souls that deserve happiness just as much as anyone else.

My daughter started at Davenport may, 2019. When my daughter first went to Davenport she was in poor health, and didn't do well in school. She also had a very hard time at home. I had an amazing experience at the Plymouth House. I did their detox, residential and PHP programs. I've been to many treatment centers and nothing had stuck until the Plymouth house. The staff are amazing--so knowledgeable and caring, many of them having gone through the Plymouth house themselves--the food is great, the facility is clean and well-run. However, what really makes the Plymouth house stand out is the way they take you through the 12 steps.
At the Plymouth house, they don't just get you sober. They go above and beyond by showing you how to live a fulfilling life in recovery, and that, to me, is what really sets the Plymouth house apart from other treatment centers. I would recommend the Plymouth house to anyone struggling with addiction.

To start. Plymouth House saved my life and my marriage. I was on path of destruction. Until I came here and had the best experience of my life. This place is like no other. Its unique teaching and program style is above any I’ve seen. The staff is amazing involved in every step. The personal team care each guest gets it’s an experience of its own. This place can and will change many more lives to come. I’m grateful to Plymouth house and the entire staff from the higher ups in the offices to the chefs in the kitchen. As someone who fought like hell to “be normal”, I finally faced my reality that alcohol is my nemesis. I talked to therapists, read books, attended AA meetings but it wasn’t enough. I searched high and low for a “quick fix” but I kept hitting a wall. After speaking with a friend, it was recommended that I check out the Plymouth House in New Hampshire. Honestly, I was a bit afraid of taking this step but so glad I did. Little did I know, it would be the first of many steps.
I arrived on the beautiful scenic campus and was welcomed by some incredibly supportive staff. I was quickly scheduled with a provider, a therapist and a 12 step clinician and I was off to the races. The community was great and offered ongoing support for me and my peers. The work was hard but necessary to be on a solid road to recovery.
If you want it, I mean really want it….this is just the place for you. If you are struggling, I hope you have courage to pick up the phone and start an incredible journey of hope. You will be glad you did!

My son completed the Summit achievement program. He’s turned out to be an incredible young man. I can say 100% without a doubt that he and we as a family may not even exist today without the help of the Summit Achievement family. The River Rock program is incredible. The clinicians and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and passionate about what they do. I attended the IOP program a year ago. My experience there was so impactful on my overall wellbeing. I now work in mental health myself and confidently refer patients their way knowing they will be supported through their mental health and sobriety journey.

I want to add a personal review of River Rock under my name because I’m truly happy of the program and what it has done for my family. I don’t necessarily identify as being an alcoholic but used substances as a way to cope with bad times. Through the intensive outpatient therapy program River Rock provides I was able to gain a clear understanding of how to navigate problems at home. I went through the process a few years ago and then my husband felt compelled (thankfully) to do so after. Since then, we’ve been able to navigate life in a more healthy manner. They use a multi-faceted approach of different therapies including CBT, DBT, life coaching, adventure therapy, group sessions and one-on-one therapy to make sure that people get the help they need! We’ve been able to create a more holistic life that benefits us and use the tools given to get through hard times. We are more connected and practice self care including cold plunges and are building a space to install a sauna at home. Communication is better, my husband has been alcohol free for over a year and a half and we are able to navigate life much better. If you are questioning getting help in any capacity, I would recommend at least reaching out to River Rock. There is no shame in wanting to take steps to achieving a more healthy outlook on life. Valley Vista in Bradford, VT is a beautiful place. I attended I'd say 8 years ago but I was not mature enough to appreciate it then. I appreciate it now. It is a clean, safe facility with helpful and kind staff. When I was there they treated dual diagnosis, which I believe is a must to truly comprehend the main cause of addiction. Vermont's beautiful scenery helps as well. I remember they had great food as well, plenty of whole foods and cakes if you like processed sweets. I believe Vermont is best for farm fresh overall.
I have since grew stronger in my faith and I give glory to God for putting me in recovery, but I admire the peer specialists and professional workers of Valley Vista. It is a great place for the underprivileged to afford. Thank you!

The staff are caring and supportive and hard working. They put in many long hours Doing a job that not many people could do. Getting clean is one of the hardest things to do and they’re there to help you every step of the way from the moment you enter the door to when you leave not only will they give you the toolsyou need to succeed, but they will also set you up so that you can continue your sobriety afterwards. You just have to want their help and listen to what they say.

As a Veteran with a 100% disability rating, I have been a regular patient at this VA healthcare facility for the last eight years. During every visit, the medical and clinical personnel have consistently delivered superior care. I always receive my prescriptions through the mail punctually, as guaranteed. I've only been using the v a system for about three years.I must say i've been very pleased. I would say, I have had a 95% success rate with everybody. I've dealt with like anything in life. You're going to have a few bad examples. But you cannot judge the whole system. Based on the few i can drive 55 minutes to an hour to that facility. Be in and be seen by the time I even get checked in at a regular emergency room. And when you do get care, I find it to be phenomenal.
