Dr. Scott is a knowledgeable, interesting, complex, spiritual, compassionate, and amazing human being. I have been working with him for a year now and he has provided a safe space for me to uncover areas of myself that I unknowingly have neglected and ignored for years.
When you work with Dr. Scott, you will not receive a bunch of babble and incoherent jargon that leaves you more confused and feeling further away from healing. Instead, you will be met with some basic and fundamental core principals of what it means to be a kind human being and learn how to embrace who you really are and nurture yourself to become who you want to be.
If you believe that therapy would help you, I highly recommend you pay Dr. Scott a visit.

I honestly don't know why the rating for this treatment center is low, I have been to evergreen and nwih and this place doses you the quickest. And the staff is friendly, there's no judgment. It's a clean clinic, for all that I'd give it 5 stars based on my experience so far. It's definitely better than the other clinics I have been too. Hopefully their ratings will goo up.

Gosh, where do I start lol. I contact them about an issue, turns out they weren't able to "help" me but they indeed helped me sooooo much! I spoke to a lady named Krystal. She was so empathetic, compassionate, thorough, professional, knowledgeable and polite. I was so impressed. The level of care was top tier. Even though they couldn't help me with my main concern, she reiterated that they had no issue with being a beacon for some sound advice and resources to help me on my journey of finding what I needed. Thank you again THS of Bellevue.

It’s a drug detox facility it’s not supposed to be fun. The doctors are very attentive & genuinely care about the patients. I went there last year & got on the methadone program. They were extremely helpful w setting me up at the methadone clinic closest to my home location. They get a star taken way only because you can’t leave your small room unless it’s to walk the hallways. Fresh air & some sunshine would’ve made it a perfect 5 stars but you can’t leave your room really is the only negative thing I’d say about the place. Other than that, it’s an amazing place to detox at. They will do everything in their power to make it as easy & painless as possible

Edmonds, Washington | Center for Discovery Edmonds offers drug rehab and eating disorder services for youth living near Edmonds, Washington. This particular clinic treats males and females from ages 10 to 17. Their levels of care include residential care and a partial hospitalization program. Both are fairly intensive, but the partial hospitalization program allows you | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was admitted to this facility in february of 2020. I was at rock bottom of my eating disorder, experiencing a paranoid psychotic break, and at the start of a global pandemic. I won’t lie, at first i really didn’t find it helpful. I wanted to leave, i didn’t like the program and i DEFINITELY hated the meal plan. As most people with eating disorders did (and do) in the program. As i started to become healthier, mentally more than physically, i really thrived here in this facility. My therapist and the staff who worked there at the time were the highlight of my day. I wouldn’t have been able to recover without Hannah Flemings incredible psychology skills, and the support of Aimee as a dietary tech/counselor. Chelsea always made me laugh and was an amazing person to be around. Rachel was always such a cool chick, and i loved the groups that all of the counselors ran. I truly believe that i would not be walking this earth anymore if it weren’t for the care and support that i received from Center for Discovery in Edmonds. I understand why there’s a lot of bad reviews here, mostly because it’s teenagers who received care from this facility who most likely didn’t want to get better or had bad experiences with some staff. But please don’t hesitate to send your children to this facility, they really do help people and i am a testimonial for that. I would give you guys 5 stars, but there is one staff member who still works there that left a really bad taste in my mouth. Kara was probably the absolute worst person to hire as a counselor. I don’t care if she was a social worker and has experience, she should never work in an eating disorder clinic. When i was there, she caused a client to sit out of a group and start crying because she had us do stretches and exercises that went beyond our movement level (which is dangerous, because we’re supposed to always have our head above our heart for cardiac safety). She was very pushy with me when i showed signs of anxiety, challenging me to stop stimming when it was my way of self soothing in a scary environment. When i expressed my dislike towards her, all of the clients agreed with me and felt the same. Even when i had another stay in the Bellevue adult facility, none of the clients there liked her either (and that was in 2022). Otherwise, everyone there is doing an amazing job at providing comfort and care to the clients, at least in 2020 when i was there.

amazing facility and by far the best place ive ever been!!! helped me grow so much and the staff are incredibly supportive, especially my amazing therapist saer! i also loved hannah, dougie and jaksine for making me feel like so much more than my eating disorder. i have had some trouble with specific staff members but overall the program is INCREDIBLE and so so effective for someone struggling. they dont punish you for having an eating disorder which is so refreshing for someone who's been to many different places. they showed me that i can live a life outside of having an ED and i am so grateful for that. would highly recommend this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️ (saer if ur reading this ily)

one of the only good parts about treatment is the friends that you make, and let me tell you, i made so many here. there is room for you to be yourself and that is one of the best parts about this place. i would not be who i am without this residential, thank you so much to everyone working there and the people i met!!! you all are so amazing!!

My experiences with Ryther have been both personal as a foster parent in addition to professional as a community partner through a local non-profit. Ryther provided trauma-informed care to our foster child in a competent and caring manner while providing us with helpful parent education on behavioral and mental health challenges our child was experiencing. Although I was concerned that my foster child would resist participating in counseling, he really enjoyed play therapy and was able to learn coping skills through fun counseling modalities.
In my volunteer work with foster children, I have also worked with a number of foster youth who were court-ordered to receive care at Ryther. I've worked with countless clients who were struggling with substance use but felt the 12-step approach wasn't right for them. When I introduced them to A Positive Alternative, they found a safe, non-judgmental space to begin their journey. There are mixed reviews for this clinic. I understand that there is a fast turn-around for the case managers. I have went through a couple as they eventually move on to another job. It's an overwhelming underpaid position I'm sure. But the psychiatrist is the best. His name is Dr. Rowlett and he really does care. His heart radiates with love for all his clients. I always get nervous in front of a psych physician because I know that they are observing me, but I tell him my symptoms or what is bothering me the most. That is very easy for me because I love to talk I have a outgoing personality. I spent many years of my childhood battling bone cancer. I get traumatic memories frequently, but also physically, I get intense migraines that I must take mood stabilizers for (helps prevent pain). He does a great job helping me manage that. I never run out, he refills it on time. If you are having bad side effects he will not force you to continue to take something that is not good for you. He puts great consideration into the medication he prescribes, never feel like he is just "throwing" pills (since I have always needed this medication I never feel offended.) He takes his job very seriously he has one of the most important jobs there is. He has white hair and is an older gentleman so I refer to him as the wizard 🎅 I mean that in a good way, my life is more enchanting and meaningful when I feel better. Straight up, managing a clients Mental Health is a very big job. I know for me that the medication is medically necessary, when my mental health is not balanced I am not a nice person to be around, stuck in bed and very cranky I get more out of life by taking my medication and I thank God for these resources. I am in fact grateful for this place, my old case manager helped me get my prescription glasses for free through the LensCrafters one sight program.

Spokane Valley, Washington | American Behavioral Health Systems (ABHS) offers addiction recovery services in various locations throughout Washington state. This location is their Eastern Washington Headquarters in Spokane Valley. Staff at the headquarters facility can refer clients to the appropriate care location depending on their needs. Treatment locations are in Chehalis, | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I just read the reviews for this place and allow me to retort.
First off this place saved my life. I checked into ABHS not knowing the program, their reputation, or the temperament of the staff.
The staff are a simply amazing!! Ms. B, Ms. Patrick, Ms. Moore, Ms. Womack, Mr. Torres, Mr. Van B., Mr. Prutsman, Ms. Wolf, Mr. Torres, Mr. Cuastic, Ms. Standfield, Ms. O’Brien, Mr. Guy, Ms. Aguilar, Ms. Dobins, Ms. Hamilton, Mr. Hirtch, Ms. Brown, Ms. Chichester, Ms. Wagner, the 3 Mr. Gs, Ms. Pagan, Mr. O, Mr. Hemple, Mr. Dock, Ms. Sumptner, Ms. Bopa, Ms. Wilamu, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Fouler, Ms. Lee, Ms. Karris, Ms. Davy, Ms. Nguyen, Mr. Cooper, and to any of you that I am forgetting I want to tell you all that I will always remember you all. You all were my rock when I needed it, you called me on my sh!t, helped me grow and learn, and got me started on my path to sobriety.
Ms. Standfield there are no words, you were my life coach, my safe place, someone who I admire, someone I want to be like, and you don’t do it for praise or fame. You took me under your wing, gave me so so so many gold nuggets to put in my backpack you made me rich. You are wicked smart and taught me how my childhood trauma affected me and how to not be victim to it anymore. When the student is ready……the teacher presents themself.
Mr. Van B., Ms. Brown, Ms. Davy, Ms. Chichester, and Mr. Prutsman you are fair, just, straight forward, honest, and forgiving. You showed me compassion, empathy, support, guidance, gave me second chances, and did not let me self destruct. You all are the best example of what true leaders are really are. For those reviews that try to disrespect and put a stain on all the good you do well they are absolutely wrong.
To those that have anything negative to say about this place well some of your expectations are a bit far fetched. First don’t bring a child to see their parent in rehab. It’s traumatizing and that trauma causes addiction so way to go. Also no you can’t leave rehab and go to the store to buy contraband. You could have brought drugs into rehab causing a relapse or a overdose. What gives you the right to miss treat the staff and expect them to take it and allow you to stay. All of these behaviors are of someone not willing to commit to being sober. If you can’t learn to behave like normal people and follow rules in a safe place how can you expect to do that in the real world.
My point is this the program at ABHS is working for those that want to be sober. I have been to rehab 3 times and I just graduated on 6/18 and it’s the last time I am ever going to rehab because this place taught me how to stand up on my own two feet get past my abuse, my low self astern, looking for my worth from others, and help shape me into the man I am today.
Sure rehab has rules some of them may seem weird or even dumb at times but they are there to teach you to retrain you to prepare you as best they can so when you walk out of their doors into the real world you are ready to succeed at a sober life.
For those that got booted you know what if you would have apologized taken your lumps and showed that you were truly sorry for your acts they would have allowed you back in. ABHS doesn’t say no to anyone. They let you come back again and again. This is a good place run by people that are trying to save people’s lives. They’ve seen everything that you can think of and do the best they can. However, we as addicts have to meet them halfway if we don’t want it, what they teach won’t stick and we won’t be prepared and we will go back in use. It’s up to us to choose the right thing to make good choices and to heal if that’s what you want then this is the place you wanna go to because they will make sure with every fiber of their being to try and help you to teach you to show you empathy and compassion, in your darkest moment they are the light that guides you to a path of sobriety. And anyone says different than they weren’t ready to be sober in the first place.

Staff are very helpful and caring. They are very quick about doing things here. The food is decent, they should feed more but it's enough. They will work with patients/clients if they are struggling with being in treatment here. Don't come here if you're not willing to dig within yourself and get the pain out, as in "get it off your chest". My counselor was hard working, understanding and very helpful during my treatment here

PTSD and addiction had me stuck for years. ABHS Seattle helped me finally start dealing with both. The staff were chill and really seemed to care, not just hand out meds. EMDR actually helped me more than I expected. I would’ve liked more groups just for vets, but I still found people who got it. It ain’t fancy, but it’s real. I feel stronger now, more clear-headed than I’ve been in a long time.

They help people with whatever they need, they are willing to go the extra mile. The clinicians, luckily, are very good at their job. What makes this place special is their focus on the patients they receive. It is set up to serve the homeless population, convicts on probation or parole, all the ones that may be disregarded on other rehabs.

EA works hard to provide individualized support to each student that arrives on campus. Whether a student needs housing, counseling, help with recovery, family support, or more, the team works hard to see them as an individual and consider the things that will allow them to not only receive an education, but to flourish. The students here are really wonderful, and it's a gift to get to spend time with them!

I've been seeing providers through compass for about 2 years. In the beginning I thought a therapist younger than me would be a gamble but they have been phenomenal. The students who are ready to graduate have been outstanding in helping me with my goals, depression and anxiety, relationships and other interpersonal issues and psychological impacts of chronic pain. And some of the students stay on staff after completion of their degree.
The psychiatrist is also fantastic, as is her nurse. Everyone from the front desk to the providers are responsive and friendly. I've also done group therapy for DBT and ADHD. There is no limit to how many weeks you can see a therapist individually like there is with Sea Mar. I feel fortunate to have found Compass. I've been to a lot of therapy, it's like working out. Things do get better!
