I had a really positive experience working with Kim Westom for my drug and alcohol evaluation. She was kind, professional, and genuinely took the time to listen and understand my situation instead of just checking boxes. Kim made what could've been a stressful process feel respectful and fair. I truly appreciate her balanced approach and the supportive recommendation she provided. You can tell she cares about people. I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone needing an evaluation - she's compassionate, thorough, and treats you like a human being, not a case file.

I am truly grateful for my time at this rehab facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and understood. The staff here are not only compassionate, but also highly equipped to help people in the critical early stages of recovery. They provide guidance, structure, and encouragement that makes the process feel possible even on the hardest days. One of the things that stood out most to me was how much emphasis they place on overall wellness, especially nutrition. The meals were thoughtfully prepared to promote healing, restore energy, and support both physical and mental recovery. It made a huge difference to know that what I was eating was part of my treatment and not just an afterthought. The medical team was also incredibly attentive. They addressed my needs promptly and ensured I always felt safe and cared for. Having that level of professional support allowed me to focus fully on my recovery. This rehab is not just a place for treatment—it’s a place where people can begin to rebuild their lives with dignity, care, and the right tools for lasting recovery. Nancy is truly a blessing in my life. From the very start, her incredible patience and kindness made me feel seen and heard in a way I never thought possible. She didn’t rush me or judge me—she took all the time I needed to open up and truly understood the depth of what I was going through. She saw through my struggles and immediately helped me face them head-on with compassion and wisdom. Every step she suggested felt like it was made just for me, perfectly matching what I needed in that moment. Nancy’s attention to my pain and progress gave me hope when I felt lost, and her unwavering support has been a light in my darkest times. To me, she’s not just a case manager—she’s the kindest, most genuine person on earth. Nancy saved me when I needed it most, and I’m forever grateful for her presence in my life.

i was at newport for 55 days and it was quite possibly the scariest time of my life. i was struggling with ptsd, depression, SH and SI, and this place turned all of that around in less than 2 months. i know not everyone’s experience is the same and people are going to view residential treatments differently, but going here genuinely saved my life and my relationship with my parents. i’m almost an adult and have a job straight out of treatment, which wasn’t even a possibility where i was before going there. shoutout to the cc’s and my pod (pine) as well as the amazing chef, i miss him dearly and i hope he’s well. and of course the clinical team (counselor, individual therapist, family therapist). i do miss being there and it was a scary and anxiety-inducing but also incredibly helpful and healing chapter of my life.

Newport saved our daughter and set our family on a stable path to recovery. Last fall we were losing our daughter to mental health challenges, PTSD and increasingly unsafe behaviors. It took 3 tries to get her to commit to Newport, but after the first few weeks of adjustment, she made more therapeutic progress with the team at Newport than in all of the other interventions we've tried to date (years of CBT therapy, DBT skills, and peer groups) . We are now 3 months out from her discharge and we still have moments of stress but Newport put us back on the same team in terms of addressing challenges together and we have been super impressed with how our 15yo is using skills to navigate the tough moments. We are extremely grateful to the Newport team for everything they did to get through to our child and earn her trust in their process.

I have been through four rehabs. I came to ATA because my attorney sent me to them. I was arrested for DUI. My checkered past with rehabs came from jobs or family members pressuring me. I ignored everything until I was arrested. I had a blackout and drove. I could have killed people. Everyday I see the news and read about people who drive drunk and killed people. I transfered to Wecare for a while it's way closer to my home. But I'm not daily, and they will work with you, from where you are. They'll get around all the unnecessary red tape and BS they can, and every time I make my dose, it's high 5s and smiles all the way from the staff. They make you feel wanted, and you can't exaggerate how much some of us need that now. To me, it's worth the extra few miles... I'm driving though, not everyone has been as lucky as me on that so this is just my calculation and experience. Chin up. Anyway yeah it's great for a methadone place. They're totally good enough. And in this industry that should be celebrated.

I took my son's aunt here and from what I saw and witnessed this place is great!!! Ran like a well oiled machine! Yes we were there for a good 4 hours that day doing the intake but between the UA, seeing the counselor, and seeing the doctor we waited no more than 10 minutes in between the people she had to see. The best part is that she was DOSED THE SAME DAY as her intake!!! Also she DIDN'T HAVE TO BE SICK!!! The other clinic we called said they wanted her to be in full withdrawal! NOT GOOD!

I'm doing everything in my power (which isn't much 😂) to make it there tomorrow (Thurs) for an intake to get Chris M back, cause he's the best psych I ever had. In case you're reading this Chris, I miss you buddy! I have just been stuck in debilating depression and couldn't even make it out of my room, let alone my bed, for months. It gets THAT bad. So I kept missing apts and eventually Sound had to kick me off because I wasn't showing up at all. I am praying to God that I can get Chris M back as my psych, because not only do I need one, but I do need med management and I need someone to talk to about things with that isn't a friend or AA. I am praying I get him back as my psych! Praying for the staff there and clients. Winter is a rough time cause it's dark early, and we're all struggling with something, but the sun always breaks through the clouds eventually. 🌨️🌫️🌤️☀️

i’m not sure if she still works with sound health but jessica was a wonderful psychologist for me. living in seattle was hell and weekly appointments with her made it bearable. although the northgate building is in a rough area, Jessica and staff alike created a home-like environment for me and i was able to rely on it heavily. even a year + later the warmth and kindness shown to me by jessica, kate, and carly ruminate in my mind like a safety blanket. dr.pascoe was lovely as well. weekly dbt and relationship group meetings including other like minded teens provided me with a sense of belonging and family. with an abusive home life and challenging school environment, the group therapy i attended was the loving community i needed. i still have the therapy worksheets as memories and references from our sessions together. i think about them often and hope their doing well. the impact they’ve had on me is immeasurable, and for that i’m truly so grateful. i miss them dearly, as they were a resource for me when i was desperate for an outlet. someday i hope to provide someone with the same compassion and support that was given to me. the gratitude i hold for them is infinite, i wouldn’t be where i am today without them. ❤️🥹

ICS was the best choice for me and changed my life for the better. I didn’t want a recovery program based on faith or a higher power - I wanted one like ICS - grounded in a holistic view of health, psychology and compassion. I wouldn’t be where I am at without ICS - and I genuinely hope others follow me in choosing it.

ICS is the most wonderful, supportive, unique, caring and committed group of people I have encountered in my recovery process. I have been on this journey for 9+ years, and ICS has been apart of it the entire time. The space created by Dennis in my group sessions, is beyond the words I am going to use..he is informative, brilliant with his delivery, kind and sensitive to each individual, honors everyones place in life, offers such incredible support to the group as a whole. Scott has been my individual therapist for almost two years, and I have expanded into a new person because of him. The care, attention to my well-being, the emotionally safe space he has created, has allowed to me understand who I truly am. I can not thank the team of ICS for their care and commitment to helping the folks that come to them. For showing up the way that they do every session and for fully offering every bit of knowledge they can to the ones that want to do the work with them. I would not be in the place that I am, living my best life, with more compassion and understanding of who I am and how I want to show up in the world, if it were not for ICS being apart of my life.

Ignatius is a rare and extraordinary counselor. As someone in my mid-forties experienced with excellent therapists (EMDR, lifespan integration, NVC), I hold a high bar—and Ignatius exceeds it. My elementary-aged son lights up when it’s time for sessions—he walks out taller, more grounded, and equipped with tangible skills for emotional regulation and lasting resilience. Ignatius brings an extraordinary depth of skill and presence, meeting my son exactly where he is and supporting him through both a complex co-parenting dynamic and challenges with a bully at school. So to preface, I’m giving my current therapist 5 stars 100%. She’s super helpful and has been a tremendous help!! As for past care, I’d say it’s quite rocky. Some therapists and psychiatrists that I worked with were good, while others not so much. Maybe we just didn’t fit, maybe they just weren’t that good, who cares. I think this is a great place to get help when you need it. If I wasn’t seeing my current therapist I’d probably rate a 3 or lower because trying to contact psychiatrists, can be a grueling process when in between appointments. And sometimes it felt like I was a “trial run” with some seemingly inexperienced therapists. As seen by reviews though, you have to have your own experience here to draw a conclusion on if you like it.

Will update my review in the future if needed. So far care has been excellent, I did a walk-in and got an intake the same day, then got assigned a counselor right away who has been on time and communicative about appointments. Starting med management soon, the waitlist was actually shorter than estimated. Friendly front desk staff. Clean and attractive facility with good privacy features. Neha has been an incredible therapist in the two years that I have been her client. She is compassionate, and more importantly, helped me get into the habit of working on therapeutic skills outside of sessions. Further, the team at the office was helpful. I never had any issues with over-billing, insurance, or communications. I cannot recommend Neha and the rest of the team enough.

My experience at Mindful Therapy Group has been overwhelmingly positive. The staff has been exceptionally friendly, supportive, and helpful. My provider has been approachable and attentive to my needs. The scheduling team operates with remarkable dedication and efficiency, which is greatly appreciated. To sum it up, they provide great care in a timely manner and they take insurance. Would definitely recommend!

Was nervous to go at first but they made me feel comfortable from the start. The therapist I met with actually listened and didn’t just nod the whole time. Gave me real feedback and some things to work on between sessions. It’s only been a few weeks but I already feel better. Front desk was nice too and helped with scheduling. Honestly wish I came sooner.

The UW has worked hard with me. Kyla Evans has been a wonderful therapist through most of my ups and downs since working with her. She gives me things to think about and work on each time I see her. I believe having people whom gone to school should have compassion, empathy and be respectful. Kyla has been tremendous along with everyone who worked with me from the beginning when I felt like a crazy mess. They have helped me gain the nessary tools to deal with life as it comes, they worked with me when I was unworkable due to fear and anxiety. Thank you all whom invested time, compassion and understanding. In closing I love the wrap around services they have even though I still fight them on going to the doctors when it's necessary. Your all appreciated!!

I couldn't be more pleased with everyone and their dedication to healthcare here. I chose ambetter insurance on the marketplace because it was affordable for me. After realizing I couldnt find a doctor off the outdated list that was provided to me by ambetter, i ended up here at seamar health clinic. As an aging semi retired, working woman, I find it exhausting to try keep Up with medical referrals, insurance, dates of appointments etc. My first visit was with alyssa chard and i'm telling you she addressed every single worry that I had in my head over my health and she didn't rush me. I felt like she treated me like a whole person who cared. My prescriptions were filled right there at the clinic that day. They set me up with sports medicine for my bad knees with a visiting doctor by the name of dr julio perez who remove fluid out of my knee and give me painless steroid shots. When I left the helpfull staff there had me set up with physical therapy, a nutritionist, a return visit with doctor perez, and plans to help me get into a doctor who can give me knee replacements- all written down and highlighted for me!! These are good People running this clinic and they care about you. They never made me feel like I was taking too much of their time.Or that they were rushing me in and out. I no longer feel overwhelmed about the whole process of getting medical care I would recommend this place to anyone. I was treated better than when I had the best insurance money could buy. Thanks Seamar!
