Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Westlake Consultation Center works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Clients receiving care at an outpatient rehab remain in their own homes and attend treatment as often as daily, depending on the level of need. Outpatient care generally consists of psychotherapy, addiction education, life skills training, and community reintegration support. Many outpatient treatment centers provide step-down care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and standard outpatient services. Some outpatient rehabs also offer ambulatory medical detox and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Treatments

Alcoholism is characterized by the excessive or compulsive use of alcohol, which does not stop despite negative consequences. This compulsive use leads to psychological and physical dependence. To break this dependence, alcohol rehab in Michigan is necessary. Treatment is available from a range of services, including residential programs, outpatient treatment, AA, medical detox, and evidence-based counseling. Support systems are also a crucial part of long-term recovery.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

In Michigan, specialized substance abuse treatment programs are available for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol use. These programs utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. Treatment options usually include outpatient, inpatient, and residential programs, offering individuals a comprehensive approach to recovery. Through a combination of therapy, counseling, and support, treatment can help individuals regain control of their lives and achieve long-term sobriety.

Programs

The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Michigan helps participants view challenges more clearly so they can respond to them in healthy ways. During a limited number of structured sessions, clients learn about and practice these changes to effectively address substance use and mental health disorders.

Both internal and external factors can put stress on a relationship. Couples therapy helps you and your partner work through those stressors and find healthy ways to deal with challenges as they arise.

Family therapy is often recommended for family units with a member undergoing drug or alcohol rehabilitation. Family therapy helps to foster communication and conflict resolution that creates a supportive environment. This helps the loved one who is struggling with addiction.

During trauma therapy in Michigan, you are guided through traumatic memories within a safe and supportive environment. Your therapist then provides you with tools to process traumatic events and reduce the symptoms that occur when you're exposed to a trigger. This improves your overall mental health and ability to function in the community.

During my adult life of being treated for an array of different conditions, Dr. Sweeney has been the kindest, most thoughtful, and most attentive medical professional I've ever met.

Response from the owner
Hi John,
Thank you for the 5-star review and thank you for your kind words.

Update! Company Response is More Lies!!! All Miriam did was send me a new generic text message and said not one word about how terribly I was treated. Yeah, she "found me a therapist" after 3 weeks. This was her attempt to make themselves look better after Jada ghosted me for 90% of my communication with westlake. And I am a mental health patient, no less. And ofc the therapist they offered was completely unequipped to handle my needs. Now they want to brag about their turnaround time?? lol wow. This place sucks and now they don't take accountability for their bs and just pile on more like it's a feather in their cap. Unacceptable!! Save yourself from this place. Hi Miriam. I left a voicemail saying if someone doesn't call me to discuss my situation I would not be staying here, and that I would take my kids out too. You chose not to call me. Thanks for the generic text tho (eye roll) The only time you've been sympathetic to me at all, was in your public response to my Google review. Bravo. What a show. Take a bow. I hope at your next place you have the guts to hire people who actually care about others. Thanks for putting the care back into healthcare (eye roll). Read the reviews, people. Notice how they give the same response to almost all other 1-2 star reviews!! "Hello (name), We have no record of you being a patient here." YIKES! Run for the hills!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their response to that rubbish on mine now (since I've called out their blatant hypocrisy and bs). Official review: Filled out all the paperwork, got everything going, and got a text message saying choose a therapist. I chose one. Jada didn't respond for six days, and when they finally did they said she wasn't available. Said they had not received a notification for a text massage. Super suspicious. They asked me to pick another one so I did. They responded five days later and said she wasn't available. I said how about you tell me who's available then Because we're wasting time here and I need mental help. They gave me a list of who was available and I picked one. Six days later, they said that person actually isn't available and no apology Whatsoever. It's been several weeks and I still don't even have a therapist because of this place AVOID

Response from the owner
Hello Justin
You submitted all forms on 3/29/26, and we had a therapist ready to schedule with you 3 weeks later. A provider's availability can change rapidly. The day you made the complaint to Jada, I reached out to you to discuss and you never responded nor have you responded back to the therapist assigned. I hope with the next clinic you are patient with the process and let administration reach out to resolve your issue.

Interestingly, as one of Priscilla Jimenez’s patients at this clinic (the nurse who got in trouble for allegedly manipulating her client into giving her money- google it) They never called me to check in, to ask what my experience was with her, etc. I got an email saying she’d no longer be with them and that was that. They assigned me a new person, and then when I couldn’t make the initial appointment and needed to reschedule, they then said that person was not taking new clients. I would’ve appreciated more care, follow up, and transparency in how they handled the matter. Sort this businesses reviews by negative first and see how they respond- that will help you decide if this is the place for you. Edit to their response: That is simply not true. I received an email saying she was on permanent administrative leave (with no reasoning included) and that my apts would be cancelled, in December 2025, and no further information after. I only found out from the news.

Response from the owner
Hello Brittnai
We personally reached out to all clients to inform them of Pricsilla’s departure. We also contacted every patient at the practice to ensure they were aware of the situation and provided direct information regarding their patient rights, along with options for filing a complaint, including an anonymous option to protect their privacy. Our providers tend to fill up quickly due to the exceptional care they provide; however, we will always have another nurse practitioner available.
