I encountered a negative experience with a former receptionist; however, I am legally restricted from providing further details. The replacement has proven to be exceptional. Furthermore, my therapist has expressed positive feedback, and we have established a strong rapport. This has facilitated significant progress in addressing past trauma, ultimately leading to a sense of normalcy.

Reception NEVER answers the phone, I am always redirected to leave a voicemail and often it is not returned promptly. I absolutely love my therapist who has helped me make amazing progress (in comparison to several others who have tried & failed before) Unfortunately the way the phone system/reception is set up makes it very frustrating and inconvenient. Other than that, I feel that my therapist (Susan) is amazing, Thank you for your hard work, & dedication.

I have received excellent care from many providers at Pauquette. They have worked together to find the best treatment plan for me. Receptionists have always been helpful and friendly. They have made me feel that they truly do care.

Do not go and see Mary Kay. She will make your family problems worse!

Connections Counseling is by far the best place I have ever been to for therapy and treatment. My therapist is insightful, inspiring, relatable and very knowledgeable. She encourages me to look within myself for strength and wisdom while she is there to help me. I now have 1.5 years of sobriety under my belt and have confidence in the future The groups are a place of safety and comfort. The staff aswell as the peers are relatable, inspiring and encouraging. Kim is the most uplifting person you will ever come across in recovery. Smart move to have her be the first person you deal with at Connections. My life will never be the same (thank goodness) since I have come to Connections I will continue on my road to recovery with the support of Connections for as long as they will have me.

Excellent facility!! All staff were well qualified, respectful, kind and supportive. Facility was top notch, very clean and excellent food service. There were ample opportunities to go out to meetings, activities and other services as needed.

I had the honor of attending Wood Violet to support me in my recovery earlier this year and I can not thank them enough or say enough good things about the care I received there. Groups, one on one therapy, yoga, art therapy, outings, the clientele in attendance- they were all wonderful. Additionally, It’s quite unique to be able to say every staff member you had interactions with treated you with respect and kindness- from management all the way to housekeeping, kitchen staff and grounds maintenance- every staff member was wonderful. Special shout out to Sheila, Nicole, Sarah, Shaunda, Ginny and Abby for all of their knowledge and wisdom! If you had seen the person I was when I walked through those doors and then see the person I am now, I can honestly and with full transparency say you would never believe I am the same person. Dr. Harkin is the Goat of all clinics . I switched to his clinic for HIM!!

March 25 I will have been clean for 2 years. I have been to many clinics and never have come this far! If I have a problem I get dealt with usually that day and with addiction being fast and efficient can be life or death. I think Dr. Harkin has tried hard to make his clinic a better the typical methadone clinics and I think he’s done amazing job! Not one of the other clinics in Madison can you walk into and say I’m struggling can I please talk to the doctor, not one of them will you be able to do that but at ASAP you can and that’s enough for me that right there is what it should be! When we walk in there in the morning sometimes all we need is someone to say hi , how are u doing with a smile on their face and that’s enough to change that day!! I’m so grateful for my second chance at life….well let’s keep it real more like 100th chance at life!! Lol but I think I got it this time and that’s thanks to dr. Harkin and he’s amazing staff!!

Dr Harkin, is great he is truly compassionate for his patient's. I have only been to one other clinic and they just treat you like a number, they treat you with respect at ASAP and they don't judge. It seems like everyone likes Dr Harkin, you will even find him out in the parking lot from time to time giving fist bumps to his patient's and asking them how they are doing.

The people that staff this place are the best of the best. If you find yourself caught in the safety net of their care, it was a very good thing! They are highly skilled, trained, empathetic, and treat their patients with DIGNITY.

Theres no way I can put in to words how new start has changed my life. The program and the faculty continue, throughout the years, to be a cornerstone in my growth as a human getting over ptsd.

I've been going here for a lonnng time like maybe 13 or 14 years now. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have Crystal to talk to throughout the issues Ive had. My daughter sees someone here also and she can't wait to have her next appointment. I don't know if I'd have made it this far without having someone to talk to who doesn't judge me or BS me either. I'd recommend anyone who is thinking about seeing a counselor to give them a call
