This is a decent facility that includes professional amenities. Has a good kitchen. At least three meals a day available, activities including a gym, disc golf course, basketball court and a WALK course. Other activities include a TV room, computer lab, therpy sessions and consumers. Staff is promt with dealing with issuess. Overall this place is a safe zone while some clients cant meet the grade. I recommend this place

I’d rate 5 for the 5 & a 1/2 years of treatment, because it was consistent but they definitely go down for breaching hippa policy (via texting) but you know other than that can’t complain. No complaints here, good service would recommend great consistent doctors, just make sure you are properly heard and perceived for who you are. The only service i utilize here is my therapist. But I can honestly say she's one of the best therapists I've ever had. So much that I've been with her for many years. I was struggling with my alcohol use and going into treatment with NIRC changed my life! The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. I owe it to NIRC and I hope to, one day, give back to the organization that has given me a life I am proud of and excited to live every day! Thank you!!

I had a good experience and learn a lot from this program. The staff worked really hard to get me a place to go. I am now in sober living. I enjoyed my time at this treatment center. Everybody did a great job and excellent job..it’s the best I’ve ever been . I came here on a grant .Now the journey continues

Great place more freedom than usual rehabs and teaches you how to be independent and preps you for living on your own and taking cadre of yourself. Weekends are filled with fun and a activity like top golf, arcades, bowling, etc...

Having been through the WisHope Step-Down Housing Program and Wis Hope Treatment Program, I can tell you first hand, that this is a program that can change your entire life, if getting sober and improving your life is truly what you are ready for and willing to do. I struggled with the use of heroin/fentanyl/pain pills for 20 years. It wasn't WisHope that made me stop using. It was "Me" that made "Me" stop using. And it is Wis Hope that co-signed every single step I took to NOT get high every day or give in to the cravings that made me doubt everything that I was doing. Wis Hope offered me the support I needed from day to day to make sure I reached the only goal I wanted to achieve. And that was to make sure I hit my pillow every single night sober! I didn't give a damn if I didn't get one thing done on my "To-do-Lists". And then when I was ready to take the next step, Wis Hope was ALWAYS and still is right there behind me supporting me and giving me the strength I need to realize that I am worth way more than I ever gave myself credit for. They helped me find my purpose again. I have so much to be grateful and thankful for every single day. Instead of chasing that next high and wasting my time degrading and de-facing myself, I amhappy and eager in accomplishing my goals to become the best version of myself. So much that because of my determination and focus, I am now an employee for WisHope helping other people reach their goals and helping them to get past the pain and suffering I once knew all to well. I carry well the empathy needed to help others get out the vicious cycle of addiction.

Great experience and staff. The only thing I had a problem with was using the phone. We were allowed to use our cell phones 2 times per week for half an hour each time. Other than that it was a great facility and beautiful area. You won't be disappointed.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They saved my lyfe for sure and are currently saving my girlfriends lyfe. I can not say enough good things about this place and trust me if it was wack I'd put them on blast. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. If your struggling with anything this is the best possible place for you. They truly save lives.

They treated my daughter really good here and she seemed to like it. She was in the Cherubs. I wish they had a longer-term treatment program that she could have gone to. It was an overall good experience though. Only thing I would change is the admission process is a little long and I feel like some of that could be done ahead of time.
