I spent the whole 90 days there being guided through a journey of unlearning a lot of preconceived notions that were not working at all. 40 years of emotional weight was removed by the awesome staff loving me where I was while helping me remove so much junk at my own pace. They patiently held the light and encouraged me while I did the work. God bless them eternally for that kind of love! It works if you work it. And. How free do you want to be?

Excellent service when applied via therapy. Workers come and go due to the current times and economy which is understandable. Very detailed and empathetic individuals who look after those in need. Primarily treat the root issues of trauma that others overlook. My only recommendation would that helped me in the military are therapy dogs.

I honestly can’t thank Impact and their entire staff enough! I had no clue what to expect with them being my very first treatment center. I’ve never worked the Steps before and truly believed that I was just meant to live the same miserable life that I’ve been living until my death. They showed me that was far from the truth. I can proudly attest to that with today being 90 days sober! This is the longest I’ve been 100% off anything mind-altering since I was 14 years old.
From my very first call with the owner Adams to my last day of the 35 day program, everyone treated me with so much kindness and patience. They teach you everything you need to know in order to live a happy and healthy life without drugs/alcohol, you just have to be willing to not only learn what they teach but also put it all into practice in real life.
Wherever below rock bottom is, I was there for sure before Impact. Adams, Chad, Shaun, Colby, Schwartz, Dikis, Taner, Moody, Sam, Kathleen, and Emily, you are all a Godsend and I thank you for honestly saving my life. I came here needing a real change and that's what I got. The program is definitely tough but sometimes that's what you need to break old habits. It’s pretty structured, with a lot of discipline and no shortcuts allowed. What really stood out to me was how much they lean on the Bible and its teachings. It’s a big part of the healing here. I do wish I’d had a little more access to my kids or family during the program, but I get that they want you to stay focused on the program. It’s definitely not fancy but it’s a genuine place and they really help you. I’m grateful for the help I got to get started in recovery.

Recovery not an easy process.I experience alot of quality growth in my recovery while at reprieve .The staff displayed a true passion for recovery which transmitted while teaching in group .I'm definitely not a religious, an wanted nothing to do with God but through working with Steven and listening to Tobey I've been able to form my own relationship with the God of my understanding! I heard a lot of horror stories and when I found out my son was being transferred there a lot of folks had negative things to say that placed a lot of fear in me !! When I went for my first visit with him today I was not sure how things worked so I came to the main entrance of hospital like I was instructed by my son to do ! Once there the second shift ladies who worked the front desk were very friendly and helpful walking me through visitation step by step ! I was nervous and had not seen my son in over year so a lot of anxiety coming in to visit for first time in such a long time ! The officer whitehead and the front desk ladies that were there to assist me was very understanding ,as well as patient with me ! This brought me a lot of comfort and relief in my option they are the type of individuals anyone would want to be taking care of a loved one ! Friendly and helpful and they made my visit the best possible for me and my son ! So if u have a loved one going for care or treatment at this hospital don’t believe the bad reviews or be so quick to judge go see for urself I am sure u will be amazed at what u find ! I went to Bryce in 2002-2004 I hated the place when I was there I was sent there for extreme PTSD. However I had went to 30+ places similar this was the final place the staff was great and they helped me overcome a psychotic breakdown. In one of the reviews some one said they were the youngest there is a minor ward I was only 14 but I wasn't the youngest. Everyone hates places like this however I would have never came back to reality without them. I don't know if they read these reviews and the staff is probably all gone but thank you for everyone who works there y'all are heros.

they're definitely way better than any other place I've been. admittedly, back when i was in and out of the psych wards, there was no places in Huntsville - so I've never been to a Huntsville one.

I have been to hospitals in Birmingham in Huntsville and I called us the name brand Hospital. Every one of them wanted to over-medicate me which made me very over sedated to the point where I couldn't function. Someone recommended Mountain View and I went there and it's been 20 years now and I'm stable. That place has saved my life. So for anybody that puts a negative review for Mountain View there must be a personal issue because I can't see that happening. The staff is great. I've seen one specific doctor for the past 15 years and he's the most empathetic doctor that I've ever met in my life. He cares about what's going on he doesn't overmedicate. And he is so patient and he listens and he really cares and you don't find doctors like that anymore and the psychiatric category anyway. Most doctors want to overmedicate to the person just doesn't feel anything anymore. They don't want to diagnose certain disorders because they don't want to deal with them all you have to do is research. If you go in not liking the place you're not going to like it. That goes for any facility. But it's a really good place. I know this to be true. I would say try some of the most popular for hospitals in Birmingham and in Huntsville or wherever and then come back and do a review.
